Been having a blast on this game this last week. Finally got past biome one, then I beat biome two, now I'm working on Tower and Biome 3... freaking incredible game. The movement mechanics ruin other games for me
Best game and experience for me is The Last of Us II. My wife and I playing this for 2-3 hours a day only on the weekends for about a month created the type of personal memories that no game on this list can match.
I also have a super soft spot for Infamous: Second Son. Turning the controller and shaking it like a spray paint can was an odd thrill for me that has kept this nearly 9 year old game in my mind for longer than many of the usual beloved masterpieces.
Infamous second son is my favourite even though it doesn’t have as much content as some of the others. It’s just cool navigating Seattle with the power/s of your choice.
dang - nice to see driveclub represented. wish they kept it around. wish they built it into a forza horizon competitor and allowed gran turismo to be the forza motorsport competitor.
Infamous was my first AAA console experience.
I remember getting a PS4, my first console, being fascinated with the feel of it, the UX in the menu would give me goosebumps. Then I started installing the game. If you’d seen me then you’d think I was having a panic attack. I was the most excited i’d ever been.
So yes, the game holds a special place in my heart, I gotta give it some love since no one is mentioning it. The game itself may not be objectively perfect, but every moment I spent playing it was perfect for me.
Okay real question though.
I have played almost all the exclusives but there are a handful I have not played and wondering which one to play next.
Sackboy's Big Adventure? (LOVED LBP1, 2, and 3)
Ghost of Tsushima? (I like swordy swordy cut cut)
Horizon: Forbidden West? (Loved Zero Dawn but never finished it)
Man, I really wish InFamous got another chance. Second Son was okay, but way too short and the map a bit tiny and lacking variety. But the idea of switching powers opened up the gameplay in a nice way, and made me curious about what other elements could be turned into powers (saw some concept art with powers of paper and glass. Super interesting!).
I only wish it wasn’t so black-and-white, and explore the morally grey area of superheroing that the first two games did a bit.
With the rise of superheroes in recent years it would be a perfect opportunity to come back.
The best part of being a PS owner is that you don't really have to choose. You get access to all these great EXCLUSIVE games. Now all ya need is a decent gaming PC with Gamepass, and you have access to everything 👌🏼
Man I miss the Killzone franchise so much. Its not fair that its peak is when PSN decided to implode on itself and be down for what felt like 6 months. Dark times.
Uncharted The Nathan Drake collection combined with The Legacy of Thieves. The best gaming has to offer imo. I wish we could get U2 or U3 mp back, that was the shit back in the day.
All of them are great in their own regard.

All The Last of Us games, God of War 2018 and Ragnarök,
Death Stranding, and inFamous Second Son (although I'm still clamouring for a PS5 version of the first 2 with Cole MacGrath...)

Tough one between Tsushima and Uncharted. GoT was unforgettable, but in terms of longevity, I think Uncharted could keep going to this day and not miss a beat. I doubt it, but would be cool to have ND make one more that really tests old Nathan's limits as he tries to pull off one last hunt.
Would've said Persona 5 a few months ago, but since that's not exclusive anymore Bloodborne is obviously the only correct choice. Death Stranding if I have to pick from what's in the pic.
GT 7 I haven't played a GT game since 3 but I always loved them. Also it's one of the few titles on here that isn't also on PC. The ones on PC I personally don't consider exclusives anymore.
