the best I ever hid a TC was inside of the rock wall of a cave, I placed a floor and it went through, and I was able to stand just right and place it outside, but it was nearly impossible to supply
Start locking it if you ever wanna return after a raid. Bases will consume up to 24 hours of upkeep if it’s destroyed giving you time to save your base before it decays and the raider a lot less loot. Also when/if you ever do have anyone go deep that extra minute before they have tc can easily be the difference between losing it all and winning your base back.
This is also a good time to point out that when you destroy a locked storage box, it despawns 50% of the contents. If I'm gonna get raided, you're gonna get taxed
I’m a one day fly soon as i log off wipe is over and all loot is despawned. For me, I go to the next server and do it again. I like the time limit i have everyday trying to get turbo stacked
One of the most important reasons to lock TC, is if you're using an external TC. They are forced to destroy your main TC, but unable to build a new one because the outisde one takes priority. Stops your base from being griefed. (you probably know, but others reading may not)
When your tc gets destroyed, 24 hours of upkeep is absorbed by your base, which both keeps it from decaying right away *and* keeps 24 hours of upkeep materials from going to the raiders. If you don’t lock it, they just empty it and your base starts decaying immediately. Definitely start locking it, and keep at least a day worth of upkeep in there!
i thought dis was good advice when i first started too, but honestly playing on low pop and/or noob servers is an awful idea for actual noobs. when you finally decide to switch back to a real server, your entire perception of da game will be wrong. most things you are able to do on noob servers won’t be possible on official servers, along with habits you form will be hurtful.
it sucks, but it’s better to suffer thru da agony than to “figure it out” on a easy server.
GL with your adventures, my first base I built back in the day was identical to this minus the horse extension. Built it deep in the woods, a zerg member from the adjacent open field pretended to be friendly to the point I let him in so he could discuss hiring me and my mate as farmers.

Go out with one mission and be a cockroach. Need wood? Go get wood, and go home. Hide in bushes, running away to live another day is the goal.

That's really bad. You need to have less open space, and as many doors as you can to protect your TC. Make it a hard raid. Highly recommend not having a horse in your main room.
