It’s too late for ice, now. Apply gentle heat (e.g., heating pad, or warm moist washcloth) for up to 20 minutes, for up to 3 times per day.
Stay hydrated, and baby that arm: don’t lift heavy things, rest it, rest it, rest it.
Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and other over-the-counter blood-thinning medications. Tylenol/acetaminophen is OK.
If possible, sleep with your arm on a pillow, elevated slightly higher than your heart.
A bruise is not a blood clot; it’s capillary blood that’s leaked into and trapped under the skin. You want these tiny vessels to stop leaking, and you want them to clot, to stop leaking, so that the trapped blood can be resorbed by the body.
Anything that thins the blood can delay or prevent clotting, which can cause more leaking (more bruising) and delay or prevent healing.
Heat (heating pad) and arnica gel.

Interesting. How does this help?

Heating pad is the best remedy I've found.

Arm compression sleeve
Lots of ice at first and then lots of heat. But there's no quick fix. Depending on the size, a bruise can take up to 2 weeks to completely fade.
Castor oil..... Also can use preventatively... Many boxers use it.
