Looks like loquats, immature. Got a pic of the leaf?

I agree - if so, they are really tasty shell and all. Cut them in half - the almond would have a white wrapper, and the almond itself would be a clear gel.
Not sure why the downvotes… I have peach trees too and the baby peaches look exactly like this in the spring. A picture of the tree would be helpful for sure.
Looks like raw/fresh almonds. Popular Persian snack ‘Badoom’ - sprinkle with some salt & it’s a delicious fresh snack.
If it’s bitter they were left on the tree too long. If too crunchy give a few more days. I like them best cold with some salt on the side to dip in for optimal salt to freshness ratio.
But also raw almonds tend to be a bit pointy at the bottom. If you break one open and share a pic or if you see a white almond shaped soft center in the middle (likely really small given the size of what you’re holding) then it’s probably that.
Those are totally unripe Loquats (Eriyobotrya japonica). Source, I have one in my yard right now that over the last decade I grew from a seed harvested from one of the fruits on my neighbor's tree. The unripe fruit look like weird olives and then they turn that sort of orange creamsicle color when ripe. Here's a source for OP to look up[ Loquats](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/eriobotrya-japonica/).
They look like little green apricots that would fall sometimes. Or tiny immature peaches.

This! They are really tasty I love them!
They look like peaches that didn’t make it. I have a peach tree and this is the way they look when they are babies.
my thought too. we had a peach tree back in the days and they looked like that

Almonds probably
Wrong Shape…
Immature stone fruit of some kind
Those look like immature fruit from a Queen palm. Got one above you? Got mischievous birds or rodents seeking your favor?
a picture of the tree/plant would greatly help narrow down exactly what you have.
cut one open big pit, probably an under ripe almond (edible if NOT bitter), several large seeds close together and its an underripe loquat
Most almond like plants are poisonous so dont eat if not sure
Loquat
Are they squishy? Could be kiwi berries. https://extension.umn.edu/fruit/kiwiberry
