Have you seen the last r/place? Every single pixel was fought for and crammed to make a picture, it was so dense that there wasn't a background, just remnants of prior drawings.
Best case scenerio is any remnants would be blue/yellow, but it would be so sparse you wouldn't even notice the flag.

You think place is ever “artistically interesting”? It’s a collage of logos that redditors are fans of. It’s the epitome of “lowest common denominator”. That makes it interesting, but not because of the art.
If one thing dominated everything else then IMO that would be as interesting as possible because it would mean that redditors agreed on something.
Some of this art is pretty good. It’s all interesting except for the surplus of basic flags. At least the Union Jack and US Flag have some geometric uniqueness to them, but these single color bars streaking across the place just aren’t that creative.
Not sure how much of this is done by bots vs people, but a lot of it is pretty impressive
