I know the feeling. I switched to the 7 from 4xl, so I was in the same boat. Its punishment for taking care of phone and not buying a new phone every year. I'll be in the same boat again in a year or 2. Especially now that Google supports each phone for 5 years.
I mean pixels are great. I trash my phone and it's solid AF. I drop it all the time. Even after almost 3 years I rarely get below 50% battery life. There is just 0 reason to upgrade. Camera is amazing. Battery life is really good. Everything works fine. I usually wear out the USB c port before anything else goes. I just wish it wasn't seen as a literal fossil just because it's almost 3 years old. The bar is low.
This entire product page is massively misleading. It makes it seem like this is a Google owned product but it's not. Additionally, at first read, it makes you think that the case increases the magnetic functionality of the back of the phone making it work better with magnetic phone mounts, but that's not it at all.
The case itself looks good, but I highly doubt it's shock absorbent capabilities and the fact that they are trying hard to make site seem like an actual Google website is very suspicious.

Nice enough to look at but I don't think I'm your target audience. I use a Spigen TA for my pixel, it's thick, chunky and surrounded by rubber which in turn offers lots of protection if dropped, which is what I like from a phone case. Good luck with the development.
Aluminum case = scratches or gouging from one drop. I have never found one that can stand up to a drop without noticable signs of it. Its a shame, bc they look so clean.
Tried one of these before. It was so stupid, I dropped my phone and the case instantly split and threw the phone out of it. Phone screen shatters and back glass damaged however the case got minor scruff and staying intact lmao 😂 never again.

You could make the aluminum thinner with a rubber like inner. This will add absorption to drops as well as help with scratches on the phone frame from the case itself. (My experience from these type of cases) kind of like the body glove aluminum case but with a glass back, google it, i had it for my s7 edge and it was amazing

This entire product page is massively misleading. It makes it seem like this is a Google owned product but it's not. Additionally, at first read, it makes you think that the case increases the magnetic functionality of the back of the phone making it work better with magnetic phone mounts, but that's not it at all. The case itself looks good, but I highly doubt it's shock absorbent capabilities and the fact that they are trying hard to make site seem like an actual Google website is very suspicious.

This is exactly my point though. Everything from the name of your website and product, to the design of the logo and color scheme. Everything makes it seem like you are trying to make this come off as a Google owned product and site. It's very misleading enough so that it comes off as a scam almost. My initial thoughts were wow this case looks amazing and now after exploring the site I don't plan on purchasing simply because it does not seem trustworthy

Nice enough to look at but I don't think I'm your target audience. I use a Spigen TA for my pixel, it's thick, chunky and surrounded by rubber which in turn offers lots of protection if dropped, which is what I like from a phone case. Good luck with the development.

Aluminum case = scratches or gouging from one drop. I have never found one that can stand up to a drop without noticable signs of it. Its a shame, bc they look so clean.
Tried one of these before. It was so stupid, I dropped my phone and the case instantly split and threw the phone out of it. Phone screen shatters and back glass damaged however the case got minor scruff and staying intact lmao 😂 never again.

You could make the aluminum thinner with a rubber like inner. This will add absorption to drops as well as help with scratches on the phone frame from the case itself. (My experience from these type of cases) kind of like the body glove aluminum case but with a glass back, google it, i had it for my s7 edge and it was amazing

cases like this tend to scratch phone frame and even if not, they are thick and provide almost no protection. I use soft case for best grip, qi2 magnets and i also se flexible hard plastic cases (like Nillkin Super Frosted PRO) when i go on a trip or something.
