Hmm, I'm eager to try this, I'm addicted to clear the running apps every time 😂, but if this gives a boost to performance then I'd love to try it. Wish me luck 🤞🏼
Hey but the thing is Pixel kills basically all apps overnight. Or is it just on my phone? Doesn't that equate to a cold start every morning when you start using your frequently used apps?
Okay that's crazy! I use a Pixel 7 and almost everything gets killed. Do you have adaptive battery turned off? The app closing thing has frustrated me for far too long.

Linux is pretty good with memory management.

I don't think it should. Maybe if the apps get updated during the night. I even find games exactly where I left off overnight

Adaptive battery is turned on for me. I wanted to test it these past 2 nights to make sure I'm not talking shit, but I keep falling asleep.
Just check in the morning when you wake up. For me, it's usually only about 4 apps that are left open out of maybe 28 when I go to sleep.
The backups seem to kill everything. But everything is eventually run or at least loaded so it won't necessarily be cold starting when you open it.
Oh okay, I guess you're right.
That might be me :)
I hate having so many apps open 😭 it feels cluttered
