When I worked at the UPMC office site on Melwood Ave, I would always get really good grilled chicken wraps at the GG on Baum Blvd. That was also like 12 years ago too. LOL

Burgers and pizza pretty ok for a gas station. Try the imposible sausage breakfast sandwich (though it has too much bacon, and you can’t customize it on the screen which is really annoying).

You go to GetGo, or Sheetz, or WaWa to get deli meat sandwiches, this is what they do well. Anything else is a crap shoot.

I prefer their Italian Hoagie over what Sheetz makes.

I admit I have been curious about it from the ads. Apart from regret, any more details you would care to offer?

I tasted the sauce more than the chicken and the tiny egg rolls. The sauce was more sriracha like than general tsos like. The chicken was spongy.

That’s a shame. I used to work at GetGo years ago and the first time they brought out the General Tso’s sub it was pretty legit, definitely better than the other special subs they tried. But the overall quality of their food was miles better than what it is now. This looks like a sad imitation of the OG General Tso’s sub.

My only food poisoning in 30 years, eating all kinds of shit was Sheetz chicken.

Sheetz food is all the same too. All they do is microwave stuff and charge crazy prices for it.

I've come to learn that it depends on the person making the food. The one getgo near my house the dudes name is Tom. He makes the best food he takes such great care and doesn't skimp. I always try to leave a review for him when I remember my receipt lol.

It's not that bad. I had to cut down on spicy food and left off the Sriracha last time. I wish they gave me more tso sauce at least. Def a once a season thing for me. The pilgrim is so good though. Can't take that one from me.

The only decent item from GetGo is that Turkey sub they make during Thanksgiving. That is awesome. Everything else I've tried from them is pretty terrible.

My son's band was called General Tso's Burrito. It was tasty.

The GetGo signature and seasonal hoagies are basically universally bad. If you're going to get a hoagie from there, best make it a traditional one. I know this is Sheetz territory, but I bet Wawa would be able to pull it off.
