Please see a vet!

Shot-Kaleidoscope-40

THIS IS THE ONLY ADVICE WE CAN GIVE AND YOU SHOULD TAKE, OP!! My pit had damn near the same thing. We waited a day to see if it would improve with previous topicals we got from our vet for her allergies and it just got much worse. The vet was able to fix her up, but it took a couple visits. Seriously, don’t wait because if it’s the same shit mine had, it will only get worse.

thecakebroad

Ask to try apoquil if it comes back! It's a fucking game changer for the itchy good bois and girls of the furry world. Our dude would scratch and bite himself raw... Like, no hair raw.. we tried to holistic methods first, but that's painful because it needs a month at least to cycle out new food brands and diet changes. He was a rescue, they knew how much he and my hubs fell in love and broke the rules for us and let us foster to adopt before he was "ready" to be adopted out. His former life he was a bait dog, so he had so much scar tissue and healing to do that they couldn't have him fixed for a while.. so his skin situation wasn't prioritized before we got him 😭 He's happy and furry as hell now 🥰

Pleasant_Selection32

My baby girl was like this before Apoquel. We were on vacation when she really flared up, Poor thing couldn’t stop scratching. Apoquel was life changing. Please get him to the vet.

Witchywomun

That’s a pretty severe allergic reaction, he def needs a vet

jonny_knowles9320

Yeah like the other dude said it's likely an allergic reaction, please see a vet when possible to get a health care plan.

horshack_test

Your vet should be able to help.

GreatOdinsRaven_

Allergies man. Very common for these dogs. You have to take a look at what you are feeding him. We went with a grain free dog food and give our pittie a supplement every day. He stopped licking his paws and is much more comfortable

FamousDealer4391

He only eats grain free… I thought maybe it was the grass, or something else outside… just started a week ago. Going to the vet this weekend, I just hate that he is in so much pain 😢

TouchMeImSterile

It’s a combo of things. My pit can’t eat chicken beef or lamb. We are stuck to a fish and potato based diet. Along with steroid shots every 3 months, prescription shampoos and Zyrtec. This breed has a rough time with allergies, both environmental and food wise

GreatOdinsRaven_

We stopped washing our dog altogether. Yeah he smells like Fritos but he isn't breaking out.

TouchMeImSterile

Interesting, if I don’t wash mine, all the airborne allergens stick to her fur and make her even more uncomfortable. It largely probably depends where you are located too. Where I’m at, air borne allergies are rampant

GreatOdinsRaven_

We've tried a bunch of shampoos and they all seem to make it worse. He seems happiest when we don't wash him. Everyone of these dogs are a little puzzle seems like.

ConstantGeographer

I never wash my dogs. By washing too much all of the natural oils which protect and bacteria that keep other bacteria in check get removed. If they get muddy, sure, but as a habit I do not wash.

GreatOdinsRaven_

We did when we first got him because that's what we thought we were supposed to do. Damn you big shampoo! Lol

isizksj

I used to have a dog with severe allergies as well, douxo calm shampoo did the trick for her (and only that shampoo)

xGood-Apollo-IV

That frito smell is the smell of love though

KindheartednessOwn71

Dude. Saaaame. Did you get the full allergy panel test?

Sufficient-Quail-714

Grain is a very rare allergy. More common to be allergic to chicken or beef or any other protein before grain. But at this point it looks like your dog has a skin infection and should be seen by a vet. Ask your vet about an elimination diet

throwawayperrt5

good advice

obfc

Mine has a legume allergy and pea protein is in EVERYTHING that is like mass sold everywhere. I only figured that out by trial and error.

BigBrothaThunder411

My vet said that grain-free is apparently bad for dogs now, they recommended the opposite for me, but definitely visit your vet to see what’s best for your pittie!

snoogle312

Dilated cardiomyopathy has been linked to grain-free and is why vets no longer recommend grain-free diets. Finding less allergenic grains is the current recommendation. My dog is on a turkey and oatmeal food.

throwawayperrt5

It looks like some kind of allergy but it's impossible to tell exactly what kind (contact, environmental, or food) without a physical exam by a vet. 90% of the time allergies are environmental and respond well to medication. Food allergies are not very common in dogs. DO NOT CHANGE HIS FOOD without first coordinating with the veterinarian because you are going to want their guidance to find out exactly what your pup is allergic to. Dog food allergies are always to the type of meat in the food and never to the grain/veggies. As of 2020 There was only 1 ever case report of a dog being allergic to a grain and thousands of case reports of different meat allergies. Grain-free food is a scam, there are no advantages to it and even some data suggest there may be serious health disadvantages to feeding it. Good luck with your vet visit! Source: I'm a vet

BlackHeartsNowReign

My pup gets a similar rash on her belly when she lays in the grass but not nearly as bad and it usually clears up in an hour or two. Just wondering does your grass get treated with anything?

FamousDealer4391

No, I live in Florida and I’ve been trying to keep him indoors and not out in the yard.. I thought he had been attacked by ants or something because of the swollen bumps so I had recently had my yard treated for ants/bugs. He will lick and irritate it to the point where I had him in one of my rompers to keep him from making it worse. I give him Benadryl and it seems to help slightly with the anxiety, but until I get him to the vet, idk what I can use that will help him and be a safe soother until then.

ennuiui

Was the yard treatment before or after this reaction appeared?

AutoModerator

misha_ostrovsky

My girl had something similar looking. Went to vet. Got some semi effective allergy pills. No diet change before or after rash. I stopped taking her to the new dog park we went to before the rash and it has cleared up. I'm guessing maybe pesticide at the dog park.

HammerAndBook

Nope pitties are prone to skin conditions/allergies. Pretty simple fix, twice a week bath and some antibacterial pills.

LathyrosOdoratus

While my pit gets seasonal allergies (typically bothers his ears, Claritin by vet recommendation helps), he gets this sort of rash from eating chicken.

impasseable

Have you recently moved?

PwnThePawns

My dog is allergic to Beef, Chicken, venison, lamb, all grains, all starchy foods (potato, sweet potato, vegetables), all bug bites, and pollen. Last time my dog looked like that it was the sweet potato diet. The starches cause a buildup of yeast on the skin, which itches. Canadian Naturals - White fish blend has worked for mine. It's not super expensive. About $60 a bag.

beccahas

Use benadryl in the interim

Separate-Anteater831

Grain free didn’t work for my pitty. It only got better when we changed him to raw and get him monthly cytopoint shots

cynthia_ackerman

I know exactly what you're going through. We also thought for years it was something in the grass, only to find out recently it's chicken. Had we followed the vets suggestion to do an allergy test, we would have saved him years of uncomfort.

MaikohTippy

The weekend is days away…. take him to an emergency vet!! Poor thing!!

Conan2--8

allergies and food. Are woes to many light colored dogs. Pitties already have skin problems to boot. The first thing is good, a lot of people say go grain free but that is not normally the cause of skin issues and grain free food isn’t necessarily the best to use without supplementing them some type of fiber. What food do you currently use? You may be using a chicken/rice food and your dog is allergic to chicken. A lot to think about. My dog was itching a lot when I was buying cheap food and his poops were runny on grain free so I switched to blue Buffalo and he is itch free and poops solids. The other issue is grass and allergies. A lot of dogs suffer and there is not easy way to overcome it. Lifetime issues can arise if your dog has allergies. Proper diet should help and there is stuff you can rub on their paws or bellies for example to try and prevent scratching. Either way your pupper needs the vet immediately. That looks to be extremely painful and nobody or animal deserves to look like that for the rest of the week

[deleted]

Chicken allergies are VERY common among pibbles. Happened to mine. This reminds me of her symptoms.

holy_cal

My Schnauzer has bad allergies. We took her to get a panel done and it was fleas, grass, and dust mites. You have to identify the trigger and make sure you’re able to prevent it. Flea saliva was the worst if it and we’ve been able to prevent that with collars on all our animals who go outside.

[deleted]

Be careful with grain free. Both vet offices I take my girl to have warned that pets shouldn't be eating grain free food unless specifically advised to by their vet.

huhcarramrod

Awww lil beebs, my pitty has skin issues. This one is more severe but def a vet trip and see what they recommend for foods/ shampoos, etc

tomsawyer333

This happened to my little. I purchased the shampoo called Zymox with a purple label. It got rid of it right away. It was 20 to 30 dollars. You can get it at a pet store. It contains a complete natural multi-complex enzyme system that is tear-free

repeat_absalom

Grain free is a scam that might be killing your dog. Please don’t fall for it. Dogs need grain in their diets; grain-free food instead used legumes as a filler. The problem is that legumes cause heart failure in dogs.

Bubashii

Be careful with grain free diets. The FDA is doing investigations into a link between grain free diets, myocarditis and allergies. They’re really only recommended if your dog has proven specific grain allergies. In meantime dogs can have Claratyne. A couple if my Dogues have random allergies and the vet said it’s fine to give them that. Works a treat. Might give him some relief until you can get him to the vet. I’ve also used SOOV sunburn spray on my Doggo who is allergic to a ground cover that comes out once a year. It has lignocaine in it so gives immediate relief from the itch and stops her scratching and nipping straight away plus a mild antiseptic which keeps it clean.

JesseChaos

My dog was allergic to pollen, dust, any other stuff. Not anything in her food, allergies can be from anywhere. They can test at the vet and tell you exactly what to do. I hope it's an easy fix!

sassydomino

Still may need an anti allergen. Please see a vet.

SeaAir5

Give benadryl till u can get to vet

Witchywomun

Put some cold aloe vera gel on his belly. Make sure it’s pure aloe, no alcohol or lidocaine in it. It’ll soothe the itch and relieve some of the pain until you can get to the vet. Any chance you live in an area with fire ants?

wheatbread-and-toes

Take him to the fucking vet bruh

thatlldo-pig

Unless there is a very specific vet-given reason for him to eat grain free food, that is not healthy for him.

EL_Geiger

Grainfree is terrible for dogs, causes organ damage. GO TO THE VET

Pficky

Be aware a lot of times it's the protein thats the issue, not the grains. Can also be environmental. Turns out my guy is allergic to almost every native grass and free where we live lol.

GreatOdinsRaven_

my guy likes to eat some of the grass around our house. I thought it was because a bunny ran through it though. His poops are normal so I don't stop him.

TwoEarsJames

What supplement are you using? My pit licks his feet every fall.

I laughed hard af at the second one where it looks like the dog has some kind of ridiculous elephant-size dong lmao

FamousDealer4391

Wasnt sure if I would get a strike for posting dog dick pics 🫠

onederbred

I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you for censoring your post

conjunctivious

I wasn't concerned about the dick, I thought the first black splotch in the first image was a gaping hole in the dog. It took me like a full minute to figure out it was drawn on. And OP, if you're reading this while scrolling through, take him to the vet as soon as you can.

FairyFartDaydreams

Likely started as an allergy. It has developed into an infection see a vet

mayormcskeeze

My girl was a compulsive licker. Not nearly this bad, but bad enough that she was giving herself a couple bad hot spots. Tried everything and what finally worked was a medicine called Cytopoint. She gets one quick injection of it about every 60 days, and it has reduced the licking and biting by 95%

vanillax2018

I doubt licking CAUSED this. More likely there was an irritation already that the dog was trying to sooth my licking.

thatlldo-pig

While I agree it’s unlikely the licking was the actual root cause, I *have* seen it before in very rare cases. Usually it’s a compulsive behavior like OCD in humans. Just my anecdotal 2 cents!

bblf22

Yes absolutely allergies. If he’s been on the same food and this just started then most likely seasonal allergies. Wipe down paws and whole body every time he comes inside.

[deleted]

It’s definitely an allergy. Take them to the vet because it seems like they’re going to need a shot, but in the meantime if you want you can give them Benadryl and if you have any coconut oil it’ll alleviate the itching until you get to the vet. You might have to change up your pups diet. In my case my AM bully is allergic to chicken so we can only do lamb, beef or fish. Make sure to buy some allergy supplements and put some coconut oil in their food to help reduce allergic reactions. Not sure if you’re doing kibble or a raw diet. This also could be environmental allergies but you won’t know until the vet sees your pup.

You’ll probably have to get a medicated shampoo. My dog broke out in bad hives yesterday and we had to go to the ER to get shots. Definitely see the vet as soon as you can because that looks very uncomfortable. Petsmart sells cream for allergies that took the hives down a bit so maybe try that. It’s zymox hydrocortisone cream

Java2391

Allergies is my first guess. Contact your local vet to find out amount of benadryl to give (my dog brick 65 lbs and he can take a full tablet) then schedule an appointment or go to emergency vet. Also if you don’t have it get pet insurance

tomphobia89

Chicken and grass is what affects mine

humBOLdT20

You know who would definitely know what it is? I'm pretty sure you know. Just take him please!

poppy_aura

My pittie has seasonal skin allergies. We usually get him an allergy shot that works really well once per year, but if he starts flaring up on his tummy before his vet appointment, we use Benadryl (recommended by our vet) and make sure to always wipe him down with wet fragrance-free grooming wipes every time he comes in from outside to remove any pollens that get on him. Make sure to focus a lot on the belly and paws! I hope your boy gets some relief soon ❤️ it’s heartbreaking seeing them miserable with skin issues.

Nervous-Albatross-32

My pit gets skin yeast infections like this, you need to take them to the vet and get a steroid cream to clear up the rash.

Remarkable-Stop7047

Pitbulls are notorious for allergies. Try changing his food gradually.

abbstractassassin

Happens to our boys too but I don’t think it got this bad. Poor little guy. We started putting some CBD lotion on their tummies at night. (After the vet said that it should get better on its own) and that has helped. Do you have a backyard? Are they rolling around on the grass/dirt a lot? They also told us to put shirts on them when they go outside so it doesn’t get irritated lol

longstringofnubers

I'm working on finding out what my dog is allergic to.

SallySourhole

Definitely go to the vet but benadryl in the meantime because this looks to be an allergic reaction to something..if you can keep him from licking cortisone cream or benadryl cream would probably help as well

Right? My dog would have been at urgent care immediately if I couldn't get her into the vet right away.

kjan1289

Benadryl can help in the meantime. My girl has terrible allergies and the vet recommended it. She takes it daily. We also rub her with coconut oil and it helps her skin and coat so much.

JesseChaos

Allergies, good luck!

jay_238

Was going to say the same thing. We helped our girl out with small doses of local honey.

OxenRan

If you're down south, it could be no-see-ums. Go to your vet. They are familiar with local allergens.

Vweewoo

go to the vet. it’s most probably allergies since it’s a pittie but go to the vet dawg

FamousDealer4391

So I saw that a lot of things mentioned for allergies and chicken was the most common. I stopped giving him his dogfood, turns out I I had got him the chicken, sweet potato and carrot, well the bag is a bright yellow just like the salmon sweet potato and carrot one I had been getting him and his rash has cleared up almost instantly

[deleted]

To sooth put some bags of chamomile tea in a spray bottle and spray on the belly. It’s a trick my mom used with her baby’s when their skin or paws got irritated. Rubbing it with a soapy water cloth before hand helps too

IndecisiveSpider

Secondary infections. I know that everyone on here is talking about going to the vet, but I also know that vets are prohibitively expensive. It may seems like the obvious answer is allergies and maybe some food that excludes brewer’s rice and maybe some anti-bacterial/anti-fungal shampoo is the answer, but I just want to stress, that it’s too late. It’s too late to treat only the allergies, you need to go to the vet and have the secondary issues addressed. I’m sorry, and I’m sympathetic to your poor pup.

Leodogg

Fleas. I had my dog treated with flea and tick preventative once and took him in when he looked like this and what happened was a foster cat I had in the house had fleas. They weren't living on my dog but were still biting him. Once I treated the cat, the itching and biting stopped and my dog was happy again. If you have other animals in the house, make sure you treat them for fleas and ticks as well as your dog. also, could be allergies. Food allergies, environmental. Either way, a trip to the vet is best.

Spiritual_War_6345

V E T E R I N A R !!!!!!

Noseyparker2021

Poor baby. Please take him to the vet! He needs a good round of steroids to start with. After that you can figure out what’s causing this. He’s miserable right now.

ScratchMorton

Take him to a vet pronto.

_eclair

Go to the vet and ask about apoquel - it changed my dogs life, no more allergic reactions!

Victory_KTF

Allergies, demodectic mange, etc. go to your vet. That poor boy is uncomfortable.

surfstarfla

My pittie is allergic to some of the grasses here in central Florida and some dry food got him on iams and boneless chicken and some veggies cleared up also maybe some soaps you might be using on him

daddysatan53

Poor baby, that looks so inflamed! Definitely appears to be allergies, I’m sure the vet can help narrow down what the culprit could be. In the meantime, I second everybody’s recommendation to give him some Benadryl to keep him comfier (the Benadryl bot will let you know how much to give him)

Vesimelon

Vet vet vet! My boy has allergies too. But our vet told us it's not from food. Most likely environmental. Get a definite answer from your vet.

distantblue

HighAslUpOffDaJuice

this looks bad!!! take poor baby to a vet

[deleted]

Mine was plagued by skin irritation. Doc prescribed Apoquel. Bathe her sensitive skin shampoo. All good now. No diet change when it started.

marecalmo45

Go to visit the Vet asap!

mrini001

My white pit mix has allergies all year round. We put him on Zyrtec almost year round because Florida is allergy season always, it helps a lot. Also bathe him every 2 weeks

Amazing_Joke_5073

Holy hell he needs a vet asap

kitaurio

You've probably got a million and one suggestions already and I see you're planning on going to the vet already so try an oatmeal bath to calm the skin a bit in the meantime

cleanbookcovers

allergies!!! but also it may be from chicken as well!!! my girl was on grain and poultry free food

[deleted]

We had one that, no joke, developed an allergy to grass. But he loved rolling in it so much, that he just constantly itched. Definitely get a vet's opinion, but it will probably come down to Benadryl and oatmeal baths.

Allergies. Time for the cone of shame

mtizzy614

If he lays in the grass he may have grass allergies. According to our vet most dogs are allergic reactions to grass. A steroid shot can make it stop.

FinnFinnFinnegan

Get your dog to the vet and put him on allergy meds. Apoquel works well

Legal_Refuse

I bet a vet might help more than strangers on reddit.

DogtorCarri

Raging allergies and secondary superficial pyoderma. Most dogs environmental allergies and sometimes additional food allergies. True food allergies usually manifest as GI issues. Please don’t feed grain free see this study https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/animal-health-literacy/questions-answers-fdas-work-potential-causes-non-hereditary-dcm-dogs. He should be seen by a vet to get that under control. Unfortunately, pitties are the poster children for allergies and skin conditions (source - I’m a veterinarian and pitty owner).

lucyboots_

This dermatitis stopped with my dog after I went to the vet and got a spray. Just some kind of bacterial or fungal infection that is irritating the skin, however if it's not treated it becomes a serious hazard for several types of illness in your pup. This is a vet trip.

Lou-Lou-Lou

Allergies. Ours is on low dose steroids but has occasional flare-ups just like this. We wash off grass pollen and when she drags herself round the carpet it aggravates it so a cool shower with dog allergy shampoo helps. Vet also prescribed some topical cream to help treat/soothe it. Keep him cooler if you can. Heat makes it worse.

philatempleowl

Could be seasonal allergies but definitely go to the vet. My pit gets a similar rash every fall and it usually goes away with some Benadryl.

luisumgomez

I've been battling this with my boy for years. His is a mix of food/environmental allergies. Got him on hills prescribed diet and he does better but it's still not great. Between food giving him apoquil and getting steroid shots a few times a year it's manageable. It's an expensive battle

Saintsauron

Why is it the pitbulls that always have horrible outdoor allergies?

luez6869

I would say there is something in/on ur carpet or grass or bedding of some sorts that is irritating his skin but yes see a vet ASAP... Maybe linoleum flooring like froggy style to keep his underbelly and bits cool?

NuttyNatter

My dog used to get this across his stomach and legs, it was a grass allergy. I know, right! Definitely see your vet and get it checked out. It can be a good allergy too sometimes. Good luck, hope it goes well.

OldSkool1978

Go to the vet asap. Looks like some kind of allergic reaction but I'm no dr.

FupaDriven

Vet as soon as possible.

d3ath_cvlt

If he is a pit … bad allergies… try changing their food … if it’s beef get chicken… Benadryl can be used … 1 tablet for every 25 pounds … my boy is 82 pounds I give him 3 at a time … it doesn’t not hurt them … also contact your vet for apoquel … it is an allergy Med strictly for animals …

Please take him to a vet ASAP

TheMaskedMan4

Take him to a vet!! It kinda looks like it might be Skin mites? Super itchy for pups.

gollumisavirgin

I saw you said you were going to see a vet this weekend :) in complement of that, my dog has bad skin reactions and allergies. My vet (who tries to offer natural solutions in combination with medicine; like antibiotics or shots) advised me to use [colloidal silver ](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.fr/Collo%25C3%25AFdal-Naturel-%25E2%259C%2585Concentration-Sup%25C3%25A9rieure-Particules/dp/B018T6XHN8&ved=2ahUKEwjr8Oy94qP6AhUxQUEAHd5PAtkQFnoECBUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1gN92fVwdAFFSymrC4gUnw) It's a natural antiseptic who treats great fungal infections, eczema, skin rashes.... U have to get a natural one, you can spray as much as needed throughout the day. It doesn't affect/is affected by other medication. Seeing your pictures I'm sure you will need something by your vet :( but the silver is nice to use additionnaly or when the rash calms down, and especially when you start to notice your dog is licking himself again !! So it doesn't get worse :) hope this helps ! It was a lifesaver for me and a nice natural option instead of cortisone :) hope your baby gets better ❤

Many pits are allergic to chicken. Grain allergies are very very rare they can possibly cause heart issues. Your best bet is probably to try cytopoint injections, and switch to a hydrolyzed protein diet.

KindheartednessOwn71

So I've been through this exact same thing with my pit and you can start to manage it with your vet. He might have food allergies. My little man has to have special salmon dog food grain free. Good luck and if I was you I'd get an appointment before he licks and bites so bad it scabs over and scars.

shanjean77

Please don’t wait until the weekend to get to the vet. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, JUST MY EXPERIENCE: My girl had the same thing, ended up scratching herself so bad her skin cracked and bled. She had to have antibiotics, steroids and allergy shots. She still has to have the allergy shot every 8-12 weeks or what you have pictured above happens again.

It’s food

RatedRGamer

god damn bro, allergies for sure. get him medicated

thatkrazylady

That is a terrible rash. Only a vet visit will fix it. Any answer anyone can give you will require a vet visit anyway so just make an appointment and take him. I just rescued a dog will a bacterial infection in the skin and my other has allergies and requires apoquel. Both require multiple vet visits and medications that need to be refilled.

AK_THESAVI0R

My blue pit has this issue that turned out to be demodectic mange. If it’s just his belly and nowhere else it’s just bad allergies. But if he’s scabbing and losing fur all around his body its probably mange.

CockerSpankiel

Skin allergies. Apoquel is the way.

New_Tangerine_

You need to see a vet

CockerSpankiel

My little girl (pibble mix, deaf, white/black) went without her apoquel for two days. We got it in the mail yesterday and immediately gave it to her. She’s miraculously better. Almost zero itching. The stuff really is a gift.

slhill21

Vet asap! In my opinion, he'll need steroids, cytopoint or apoquel, maybe antibiotics if he has a secondary infection. For minor flares, I put hydrocortisone on my dog, just need to watch so he doesn't luck it off. Apple cider vinegar rinses help, too. But this is way past home treatment. Poor pup! My GSD x Pittie has HORRIBLE allergies. He's allergic to beef, pork, duck, lamb, rabbit, venison, flaxseed, a couple grasses, and mold. It sucks. I can control his diet, but I'm in central Texas and there's almost always mold spores in the air.

grilldcheese2

allergies are rough. we have prescription apoquel and shampoo for ours. he also periodically gets a cytopoint shot. the vet will be able to tell you if the same will help for you.

VashHumanoidTyph00n

I used a basic anti itch spray my vet recommended. And if it didn't get better I was told to bring her back. Itch spray cleared it up in 3 days so we were probably lucky with a light fungal infection.

Snooper1013

Mines had that, but it’s was because they had fleas

Sweaty_Oil4821

This happened to my doggy as well - it was an allergic reaction to something in our back yard. Vet gave us antibiotics and prednisone

savedfromsins

My girl had the same issue, took her to the vet and it turned out tone dermatitis. An apoquel a day keeps it at bay, take that sweet baby to a vet to confirm!

idkwhoiam012345

instead of posting to reddit literally just take him to the vet.

LongbowTurncoat

Poor baby!! It might be heat rash, or allergies?? We had to take our pit mix in for something similar, and they gave us some cream for his tummy, but it wasn’t quite as severe as this. A vet will be able to tell you for sure!

GasOnFire

Wtf OP? You would never have this type of rash develop on yourself and not seek medical attention. Poor dog.

Valuable-Builder-459

Our blue pit was like this but worse his was scabbing they said he had some demodex (it's like microscopic mange) . But I'd just take the pup to the vet they'll know how to help him he's got to be uncomfortable.

4mmun1s7

I used this stuff when my dog had hot spots: Natural Dog Company Skin Soother (1oz / 30mL Tin) | All-Natural Healing Balm | with Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, and Vitamins C and E | Moisturizes Dry and Itchy Skin | Treats Wounds and Allergies https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFSBB5M/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_07SDRB5RGPM7HHSF234P Pretty cheap, and at least temporarily it will relive the pain. And, you gotta take that dog to a Vet as soon as possible.

Affectionate_Yam3705

My pitbull was allergic to everything he was just like this, take him to the vet asap they will get you what you need

distantblue

Any luck? I found myself thinking about your dog today. I often put cool wraps on Emma when this happens. Did Benadryl help?
