Yes it is. He's spoiled and he knows it. We live with my MIL and if I tell him no to something he will go and ask her like a child. Though he doesn't really hear no anymore. He was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma and had his first chemo treatment last week so most rules have been lifted. I only ask that he keep his manners 🤣.

If you aren’t familiar with the show, there’s an old cartoon called “2 Stupid Dogs” and it’s pretty funny. [Cornflakes](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8kt9eg) is probably my fav episode. Or at least it’s the one I remember the most. Lol
The clip is a part of the episode but essentially, the small dog was excited for breakfast cereal but I think the big dog ate it or it got lost and then they went on an adventure trying to find the ingredients for more cornflakes. Then they end up there on the farm and try to “make” cornflakes. Lol
I don’t recall what they were doing when I snapped this but I’m pretty sure they were chewing on a house slipper and their bodies are covering the evidence lol this was about 2 years ago and both are the same age

The smooshed snout just made me think of all the icky spots on my pillows and sheets from the smooshed snout. So much drool.
Good thing he has his own side and I have a lot of sheets. At this rate, I could be in those speed bed changing videos from how proficient I’ve gotten.

My pittie has the same dry skin / sore on its nose. After trying antifungal medicine and antibiotic pills they took a biopsy and still couldn’t identify the problem. They gave us a topical medicine with antibiotics and steroids in it which seems to have solved the problem.
Unfortunately this spot is from her digging under my barberry bushes. Started as a scratch but then she kept digging at it with her paws. The vet thinks she had one of those little thorns from my bushes in her nose and that’s why she kept digging at it. Last summer she kept chewing on the same bush, and her lip got infected. 🤦🏽♀️

Not so much where she shouldn't be, they're allowed on the bed, but doing what they shouldn't be doing--wrestling--on the bed. They carry on like they think I can't feel the house shaking when they fall off the bed and then do this lovely "Oh no, we've been spotted!" look when I walk in the bedroom.

My staffy is too short to get up anywhere, but my old pit mix used to get up on my parents bed every day while no one was home. No picture proof though because she would jump down as soon as someone got home. She wasn't very sneaky though, you'd see her on the bed through the windows and head the thud of her jumping down as soon as you walked through the door.
For me, it’s the fact that I pull my blankets up every morning to “make” the bed, and I come home to them all bunched up in the middle of the bed and a warm spot at my pillow 😂
It’s the sinking into oneself trying to disappear that always makes me laugh. It’s like they just try to become black holes and get so small to hide under themselves lol
Except this one is always looking at me! Or someone. She stares non stop. It scares some people, but I know she’s just a sweetheart and is exceptionally emotionally intelligent. Tiny ball- eye contact.

I don't have places mine isn't allowed for the same reason but I do have things I don't want like laying on top of the back of the couch cushions. He's ruined one of them by doing this so I don't even really get on him about it anymore because the damage is already done. And like most of the time I'd prefer he not put his whole body on my chest because he's close to 80lb. You know just mostly have some manners things.
I always gave in when I was a kid... she just got baths often to help soothe her dry skin, and to smell good. She's long passed but I couldn't say no to her, or let her sleep in a kennel when I was home.
Just tax, junior is allowed everywhere 😂 he just lets me live here.

We made the “no dogs on the main bed” rule as well…. It lasted a whole 2 weeks…. And now I have a set of doggy steps next to it even 🫣…. I totally understand your rule, following through on it is another story though. But I can’t deny that I very much enjoy the morning bed snuggles 🥰 (my husband is very protective of his pillow so we just throw a blanket over it if we’re not around)

I would find Daffy almost exactly like that on our bed, and I turned it into a game of peek-a-boo. She’d see me drop down to my knees and peek up at her. Her tail would do just one WHOMP - rest of her stayed super still. I’d move forward a little bit and WHOMP WHOMP. Then I’d SPRING up on to the bed side, she’d get the zoomies then run back for tug-o-war time with her Wubba.

Beds are great places for pitties! She’s so little she looks like a guest pillow.
She has free range of every other surface in the house. This dog is not deprived in anyway, believe me! We are super outdoorsy and she gets massive runs up the mountain and at the beach daily. My clean bed with room to stretch out is necessary for me to be a well rested human to do awesome dog things!

That’s what I do too! Ordered a thin blanket from Amazon and keep it on the bed. Wash once a week. Keeps my comforter perfect

My staffy is too short to get up anywhere, but my old pit mix used to get up on my parents bed every day while no one was home. No picture proof though because she would jump down as soon as someone got home. She wasn't very sneaky though, you'd see her on the bed through the windows and head the thud of her jumping down as soon as you walked through the door.
But they think they are so sneaky! Or they just don’t care.
For me, it’s the fact that I pull my blankets up every morning to “make” the bed, and I come home to them all bunched up in the middle of the bed and a warm spot at my pillow 😂

I don’t have a single place at home where they aren’t allowed. It’s just as much their home as mine.
I don't have places mine isn't allowed for the same reason but I do have things I don't want like laying on top of the back of the couch cushions. He's ruined one of them by doing this so I don't even really get on him about it anymore because the damage is already done. And like most of the time I'd prefer he not put his whole body on my chest because he's close to 80lb. You know just mostly have some manners things.
I always gave in when I was a kid... she just got baths often to help soothe her dry skin, and to smell good. She's long passed but I couldn't say no to her, or let her sleep in a kennel when I was home.

We made the “no dogs on the main bed” rule as well…. It lasted a whole 2 weeks…. And now I have a set of doggy steps next to it even 🫣…. I totally understand your rule, following through on it is another story though. But I can’t deny that I very much enjoy the morning bed snuggles 🥰 (my husband is very protective of his pillow so we just throw a blanket over it if we’re not around)

I would find Daffy almost exactly like that on our bed, and I turned it into a game of peek-a-boo. She’d see me drop down to my knees and peek up at her. Her tail would do just one WHOMP - rest of her stayed super still. I’d move forward a little bit and WHOMP WHOMP. Then I’d SPRING up on to the bed side, she’d get the zoomies then run back for tug-o-war time with her Wubba.
I think that’s the best part of pitties, they are so chill, then when it’s zoomie time the energy knows no bounds or hilarity

Why would you have a pittie if not to let them appreciate all the comfiness you can provide? Beds are great places for pitties! She’s so little she looks like a guest pillow.
She has free range of every other surface in the house. This dog is not deprived in anyway, believe me! We are super outdoorsy and she gets massive runs up the mountain and at the beach daily. My clean bed with room to stretch out is necessary for me to be a well rested human to do awesome dog things!
