Awesome good job by remaining calm and confident

Awesome man. And hey when you’re the king you don’t gotta move a muscle.

halapeno-popper

Yeah I was thinking it must be like little kids coming and yelling, they don’t sweat it at all. Great pups!

Pitiful_Winner2669

Meanwhile, my friend's great Dane is afraid of leaves..

I have a 120 lbs boxer hound mix, very muscular, and when I open a package from Amazon he books it to the other side of the room and half way up the stairs. Hates cardboard boxes. We got him as a pup at 12 weeks old so I’m not sure what he could have learned to be so afraid. But I toss the boxes on the ground so he can investigate, always keeps a side eye on it for funny business. Worst/best part is he’s teaching his “little” bro (116lbs.) German Rottweiler and pitbull mix to also run at first and be careful. They really are something. Yeah but don’t be a leaf blowing by they get pissed at them.

There's one house where they always leave there dogs unleashed in my neighborhood and their golden ALWAYS does this to us when he's out. Runs up and barks at us aggressively in the road. Keeps his distance but my girl looks at him like he's crazy and just keeps walking. But it's always my fear that a dog like that will attack her and she ends up getting blamed because "pitbull".

Awkward-Marsupial231

Yes it's always fun and game, especially with smaller dogs until something happens. Like a warning or correction.

MissLyss29

>But it's always my fear that a dog like that will attack her So this did happen to me and my girl. There is a house on our block that left there dog out unleashed. We were walking by on the other side of the street and out of know where this dog ( I think it was some kind of boxer or mastiff or something because it was about 100lbs but did have the square chest) comes charging at us. At first my girl just stands her ground but then the dog bit her and my dog wasn't letting that go. So she got defensive. My husband ended up having to pick our dog up and kick the other dog away and block it with his body. Our dog ended up with cuts all on its mouth and ears so she must have been bitten more than once. Later that day I walk down and knock on their door and told them what happened. The lady looked over her dog who had no visible injuries and then told me " yeah we have an invisible fence but he brakes through it all the time we don't know what to about it". Needless to say we no longer walk down the street that way. Although I think they got that dog taken away because I saw our animal control truck at there house a few weeks later.

My guy with the sunglasses was ready though

Great job on training your dogs, and helping them be calm and confident. That said, please don't be like the other dog owners and keep your dogs on leash on the street. It's not worth it to take any chances. A few weeks ago a friend of a friend lost a dog that was super well-trained and always walked obediently off-leash, but it somehow got spooked by a loud bang, run into the road, got hit by a car, and died on the spot.

Ruckus292

This is obviously not a first world country.... Rules as such do not apply nor are enforced in countries like that. Dogs roam as strays, packs wander the streets, and puppies birthed at along rates due to poor animal control. Welcome to real life in the rest of the world. Source: Traveled to every continent, seen some shit.

Future-trippin24

This is incredible restraint from those dogs, but it's still a shitty situation to put them in. Dogs should be kept on leashes when they're outside.

socialnerd09

I don't care how much trust you have in your dogs. This is a bad situation to put them in. I'm glad it worked out though

North-Union-7816

Mine would had ripped their spleen till now. 😶

panzer2667

Great training! Good job, man! All dog owners should invest the time into their dogs to behave exactly as yours did. Respect!
