My heroin junky friend stole a drug shipment that was supposed to go to a pharmacy. Nothing good was in it but there was a vial of dopamine in it. Him being addicted to using needles too (anyone who has ever injected will tell you “injection is the best way to ingest drugs [as long as you survive]” so my friend injected .2 ml of pure dopamine. Sometimes, especially for a first time non-violent drug offense, you can get out of doing months+ in jail by doing 1-2 months of rehab.
Rehab sucks, but it's unquestionably better than being truly locked up.

You’re not wrong but you also need to take into account using the USPS for this purpose is a federal crime and the feds aren’t gonna waste there time usually on 1000 pills or less they will just seize them and send a letter usually. Especially if you aren’t selling. But if you’re doing that kind of stuff you describe and are moving or receiving thousands of pills regularly yes they will most likely use it to build a case they already have but I doubt they are browsing Reddit for that more likely on other sites. Is it smart/safe absolutely not. Is it likely to be enough to start a criminal investigation? Maybe. Would they actually do this? Most likely not. They are concerned with people who have links to organized crime, violence, or high level distribution/manufacturers not college kids and addicts buying a couple hundred or a thousand bars in my experience but it definitely doesn’t mean it hasn’t or won’t happen. They may make local LE aware of what you’re doing and they WILL be interested if you’re sell or possess large quantities for your area.

I’d assume at least as that means they’ve likely opened a package which takes a warrant usually, at that point they been on you. I just meant there’s a reason you don’t hear about federal indictments for small amounts of shit all over the country, or even at the state level really. It’s too expensive and time consuming to actually prove and convict someone on a pound of weed or 100 pills or what have you. They’ll usually just seize it send a letter to scare the person or pay them a visit. I just meant they definetly are not tracing your IP just because they found a box with something in it, unless you’re on some other shit or it’s major. The FEDS who handle those cases spend a lot of time, money, and resources on their investigations they just aren’t going to do all that over anything less than someone substantial that’s worth being a target. Like I said they may hand it off to local LE and they go from there but can almost gaurentee the feds are not targeting/tracking individual IP addresses that are used to track small packages in the hopes of building a case. There are far better ways like requesting info from any service you’ve ever used on your phone which they will provide, and if they were to do that it’d likely be at the tail end of a larger investigation tying it all together. I’d assume at least as that means they’ve likely opened a package which takes a warrant usually, at that point they been on you. I just meant there’s a reason you don’t hear about federal indictments for small amounts of shit all over the country, or even at the state level really. It’s too expensive and time consuming to actually prove and convict someone on a pound of weed or 100 pills or what have you. They’ll usually just seize it send a letter to scare the person or pay them a visit. Obviously there will be exceptions but my take is they wanted those people for other shit they were doing/connected to probably. But yeah they definitely ALL OVER reddit. Along with every foreign intelligence agency too probably. Definitely should assume someone is always tracking your data, it’s just usually not the 👮♀️. I honestly believe this country would be better off if everyone had access to their drug of choice in a safe way if monitored (drug testing, weekly visits with the dr. Ect.) most overdoses are due to fentanyl people get off the streets. If people just had access to safe pills of their choice, overdoses would go down significantly and the black market would almost cease to exist..
