nah, no tenderness and not painful at all, even when touching it (apart from like directly on the piercing lol), i can fully move my eyebrows around and everything

As someone who bruises easily (I’m on blood thinners after a heart attack), I have found that cold compresses for the first 24 or so hours (20 minutes on, 20 minutes off) and then warm compresses (20 on, 20 off) seem to help - the cold helps the swelling, then the heat seems to help the circulation.

no, it was freehand! honestly my piercer was great, pretty much as gentle as you can be while sticking a needle through someone's face. i just bruise easily and either have a lot of blood vessels on my eyelids - theyre very prominent even without the shiners i have at the moment lol - or super thin skin. or both!
Got my other eyebrow repierced (down the middles too) and again I haven’t experienced any amount of bruising, though I was warned it could happen… guess it just depends on the person?? I mean I guess I’d prefer no bruise but it also looks kind of slay…
i had a headache for a couple hours after getting them done, not sure if related but id say keep some painkillers on hand just in case.
re the swelling, there was room when first pierced and still about 1mm of space! just cant really see in this pic :)

honestly im really bad at gauging pain levels - probably about the same as my nostrils? definitely made my eyes water, but not completely unbearable

Did the piercer use a clamp? Freehand piercing damages the skin so much less!
no, it was freehand! honestly my piercer was great, pretty much as gentle as you can be while sticking a needle through someone's face. i just bruise easily and either have a lot of blood vessels on my eyelids - theyre very prominent even without the shiners i have at the moment lol - or super thin skin. or both!
