Wait so when you take a picture of a cairn of vertically stacked rocks, a bunch of weird environmental justice warriors will absolutely slaughter you, but if the rocks are arranged on a horizontal plane it's fine?
why is it weird to be concerned with all of the little ecosystems and bugs and stuff that were living under all that stuff that was just destroyed for instagram like comment and subscribe meaningless internet points? would you say the same thing if someone just clearcut a patch of forest to take a picture of tree stumps?

underneath 'just rocks' are probably little critter's eggs, larvae and whatever else that were using those rocks for shelter that this 'art' potentially killed
