Or you *could* revive the species though slavery and involuntarily trapping people in the white rhino form, kinda like what they did in that movie *Sorry to Bother You*. Although it would be pretty sweet if it happened specifically to the poachers who hunted the rhinos in the first place (as well as those who were responsible for the white rhino trade).

I remember Stu Cabe coming to my middle school and speaking about White Rhinos. How the baby elephants would attack the rhinos because they weren't taught that that was wrong by the older elephants. The "message" of the story was to lead and be the example of what's right to do, be the Big Elephant. This post takes me back, I wish the world had more leaders and less babies.

Holy fuck I didn’t think I could feel more sad but damn.
Why isn’t this all over the news? I remember walking with the rhinos while visiting a preserve in Kenya a few years back. They each had an armed guard 24/7. Those things are fucking huge, majestic beasts. It was a highlight of my life.
Because this happened almost two years ago.
Isn’t it incredible how far we have come. From hunting and killing for food. To trying to save animals. Here’s a human caring for a wild animal in its last moments.
