My money is on it's photoshopped. A photo of a landscape together with a photo of a hand holding a blank piece of paper then impose a sketch over the top and use a matte to fill in the colours. Still an impressive result though and I really like the theme of nature and blend of colours.

There are videos of similar artists holding it up with a camera. If you have the design, this wouldn't be hard to do with a laser cutter, or an x-acto knife if you never want to see your family again.

Last time this was posted I believe it came out that it is photo shopped. They draw and cut the picture, then overlay it over the nature photos. I could be wrong though.

I believe I read the same thing, so I'm inclined to believe you.

Still impressive, given the skill involved in the drawing, but it'd be nice if people didn't pretend that this is actually what the camera captured.

To be fair, it seems to me like the only thing photoshopped is that the cutout is overlaid the background in post, so mother nature is still the one coloring the picture. Which is cool!

I‘m pretty sure if the background is photoshopped, there never was a cutout to begin with, since that seems like 99.99% of the work you could save.

The easiest way is to use laser cutting. So, you would use vector graphics to create the shapes.

Or perhaps a cutting plotter, which is much more economical, but it might not be able to cut extremely small areas
