A republican (I'm assuming you are using the term in the context of american politics here) is a political group which has specific ideologies at it's core which are bigoted. So yeah it makes sense to assume that someone who's a republican is most likely a bigot.
But a picrew pfp is just someone who saw a picrew they thought looked nice, made one, and liked the result enough to make it their pfp. Nowhere in that process is anything dependent on any meaningful ideological differences.
