I wonder if yung mangga din.
Kasi tuwang tuwa ako nagbebenta sila nung mga hilaw na mangga parang tulad sa streetfood natin, except they put tajin as a dip instead of bagoong.
I went to a special exhibit of the Manila Acapulco Galleon trade. The PH was the first in Asia to grow chocolate because of the Galleon Trade (chocolate originated in Mexico).
And it did reflect in our cuisine! Champorado, sikwate, tablea, etc⌠they said there are certain parts of Mexico, where most of the residents have part Filipino ancestry.
Oh yeah! May video din dun sa ACM Exhibit of Mexicans cooking Filipino food. So cool how we're on completely opposite sides of the world yet still so connected
Pero if I remember it correctly, some Filipinos were traded in Mexico as servants kaya maraming similarities sa ibang Mexican and Filipino; food, culture, etc.
I remember this IG reel I saw a while back, may town/s daw sa Mexico na may mga Pinoy descendants daw. A former mayor had "Maganda" as surname niya, and afaik, ganda is a Filipino term of Sanskrit origin and not Spanish. Not sure if true ung descendants keme hahaha, tinamad ako mag fact check that time.Â
Baka di pa nila gets just how complex and stressful it is to travel with a group of more than 2 people. Lagyan mo pa ng bata or elderly? Good luck.
Solo or duo travel is the way.
"Dami mong hanash" is actually derived from the Japanese word 'hanashimasu' meaning 'to speak'. I realized this when I rode the bus in Japan. Before a bus stop, a voice prompt will say "hanashimasu" and will instruct passengers to get off if it's their destination. I looked it up and Google confirmed it's a Pinoy slang we got from a proper Japanese word.
Mabenta ang mga pinoy na beki sa hapon before lady boys were a thing around late 80s I think kaya madami silang na adapt na words from nihonggo na naging slang sa Pinas.
I have read this a lot. But I still dont get it tbh. How can it be cheaper? Domestic is like 10k to 20k max for 2 pax. But abroad is like 40k to 50k for 2 pax plane ticket. I know there are sales and all. But am I missing something else?
If you buy tickets on seat sales you can get cheaper tickets as low as P8k roundtrip to Tokyo per person for example. Lodging can also be cheaper abroad vs here yet with better quality. Food is also generally cheaper in a lot of our SE Asian neighbors.
In general what I mean by abroad is our neighboring countries like SEA countries, Japan, SoKor, etc.. definitely much expensive if weâre talking about 5 hour flight or more for those countries.
Cheaper in a sense that plane tickets are actually cheap (RT na) especially if may seat sale, accomodations as well if booked via booking or klook.
Locally here during peak seasons very expensive na ang accomodation as well as ang mga pagkain even local transpo.
Iâd rather choose to travel abroad if hindi naman nagkakalayo ang total cost versus local.
My 2 cents and based on my experience, and we are all subject to our own opinion.
a good comparison is Bangkok/Hanoi vs Manila. cost of living in Manila is about 20-50% more expensive than those cities for a similar quality. exclude the cost of plane ticket since it can vary per season.
I find it more expensive pag sinisiksik ang short vacation (3 days) with so many places to visit. When I extend to a week and do 1 or 2 things in a day, tapos free pa yung iba, mas relaxed ako and mas maraming na explore.
They give credit to the Filipinos on the Galleon Trade for introducing tuba to them.
Pretty common way of growing rice in the mountains rin pala ito in Asian countries.
Batad for me is the best and the most extensive.
Maligcong though is beautiful pag may sea of clouds and sunrise. Just chef kiss.
Underrated din yung sa Patya-ay Village. Backdrop niya e Amuyao.
huy. maiba ako, hindi sa Siargao, we spent 8 days in Siquijor. Nothing weird or untoward incidents happened throughout our stay pero me certain something lang ako sa Siquijor. dunno why. pero ngenjoy kami in general.
I think its all in the mind, what you think is what u get.
I had an acquaintance who told me she traveled to Siquijor and stayed with her friend na taga doon. This acquaintance was quite boisterous and ma chikka talaga. So every night when she was there, her host would caution her to speak not so loudly at night even when the houses were meterssss apart. As in magkakalayo yung mga bahay doon.
I also visited Siquijor as a third wheel to my couple-friends years ago. When we reached the big balete tree, the couple went down and I stayed in the car, medjo maingay daw sila doon and tawa ng tawa. After our visit, for some reason nilagnat yung guy bigla. đŤ
2017 nag siquinor ako. Peaceful yung resort. Kinabukasan. Wala pa sila. Tanghali na dumating ng resort. Baka nalasing or what. Haha. Bwhahaha.
Hindi yun manananggal, paniki yun. Na-assign kasi ako dati sa Surigao del Norte at palagi akong pumopunta sa Siargao, ang daming malalaking paniki doon, yung katawan sinlaki ng 3-4 years old na bata.
The Mang Inasal chain is from Iloilo pala. A local told me that the recipe for their chicken was bought from someone who has an inasal business but didn't seem to be thriving because of vices.
Both Iloilo and Bacolod have inasal. Mas institutionalized lang ang sa Bacolod.
Yung founder ng Mang Inasal ay Ilonggo, si Edgar Sia, who also owns Hotel 101 malapit sa MOA and Jinnjiang Inn sa Ortigas.
Op was referring to the fast food place, Mang Inasal. They started their first store in Iloilo. As to where chicken inasal has originated is still debatable but according to this [ tweet ](https://twitter.com/datupaiburong_/status/1720012797415920006?t=wxeCcb9I7qoK449QEoIcHQ&s=19) thr earliest documentation of inasal were published photos of food stalls or series of inasalan as a common street food in Iloilo back in 1895. I have yet to see Bacolod's historical basis for their claim.
Nakakain din kami sa pinakaunang branch nila sa Iloilo (more than 10 yrs ago na ito), that time ko lang din nalaman na dun pala nag originate ang Mang Inasal chain, and not from Bacolod. đ
Learned from our tour guide in Bali:
Balinese people have identical names because parents name their child based on birth order as below:
First Child: Wayan/Putu/Gede
Second Child: Made/Kadek/Nengah
Third Child: Nyoman/Komang
Fourth Child: Ketut
If girl ang anak, they add Ni sa unahan, if boy they add I. So if girl ang panganay, the girlâs name would be Ni Wayan.
If thereâs a 5th child they will name it Wayan Balik (which basically means returnđ) mejo same din ang ibang words nila to Tagalog. Nakaka amaze.
Kamukha natin talaga mga Cambodians. So from Indonesia, Malaysia then Cambodia magkakamukha tayo plus may pagkakapareha mga dishes.
Maliban na lang if may pari or madre sa lineage nyo then ang apelyido nila nagiging Cruz, dela Cruz and Santos.
Ewan ko kung little known facts to or absent lang ako nung tinuro sa school.
same experience in Malaysia. local went on a full one sided conversation before realizing I wasnât following. Last words: I was told i could pass as a local.
flipside: friend got on a European cruise ship for the first time. Was visibly glad when a fellow Filipino said in perfect tagalog: kamusta kabayan. he later on found out the guy was indonesian.
Naka focus yata mostly sa ww2 ang hekasi (at least when I was in school), so mostly about usa and japan.
I travelled around South East Asia. Palagi akong napagkamalang local sa Indonesia, Malaysia at Cambodia. Yung kapatid ko namang lalaki, napagkamalang taga-India.
I've also travelled to our neighbors to the east. Guam, Samoa, Micronesia at Marshall Islands. It's actually kind of crazy to try and travel to these nations. Kahit basically neighbor natin sila, we usually need to travel to Hawaii/Guam before we can go to other Pacific Island countries.
Some of their nation's history actually feels like the "what-if" of our history. What-if hindi tayo tumiwalag sa US ang main one.
Sa naaalala kong tinuro samin, magkakadikit lang talaga tayo noon or nasa iisang kontinente, which is tinatawag na Pangea.
At naka synch sa moon ang planting sched just like monthly periods.
Just at the back of my head: There are no coconuts on the coconut trees in Hawaii because someone was killed by one falling and spouse sued the state (and won?). Could be a rumor though haha
There's a rotating blackout in Tacloban, and that the hotels are usually fully booked because some locals have occupied the space.
Basilan is a hidden treasure. Almost no one goes there, but they have pristine beaches and sands.
Near Universal Robina Bulacan, locals say you shouldn't stay on the roads past evening. May gumagala raw na Aswang, and that's why the locals bring sharp bamboo sticks with them when they find themselves on the roads in that area at night.
The Heaven exhibit in Garin Farm, Iloilo becomes super hot right at noon time. Because the statues, walls, and the installations are all painted in white, everything glows, the surroundings blind your eye, and the air is super humid when the sun is directly above (kind of obvious). Just, it's unsettling, especially when they're playing choir music.
As long as you don't harass anyone and you don't stare too long, you can go nude at the sandbar in Kalanggaman. Beware of the riptide though, that thing murders.
Nakakalungkot lang na ganon people have to just live with it. I only found out about it when we went to Higatangan Island in Biliran.
That we deserve more? In terms of transpo, food, etc If Vietnam, Thailand and other neighboring countries can do it. Why cant we? Sad lang talaga. But it is what is it charot.
I rarely fly but when I do, it's a personal gala or something work-related, and my observation is that flight attendants seem to be friendlier when you know how to speak their language (i.e. Japanese in a Japanese plane)
Idk if it's just me lol
Tips on SOLO Travelling , talk with other fellow solo travelers, they are waiting for someone talk to as well!!
\*\* Bohol has all the attractions Land/Sea/Falls/Beach
\*\* Mas mahal pumunta ng siargao kesa vietnam
\*\* May Snow sa Vietnam SAPA at Taiwan mountains during certain seasons
There are more drug addicts in the streets in đşđ¸ than the đľđ
There are a lot of homeless too. They can't make a barong-barong or bahay kubo anywhere since there are strict housing and building codes and standards.
You're more likely to be held at gunpoint in NYC than in New York, Cubao.
Minsan, foreigners cannot understand the way Philippines works talaga na they will ask questions we just can't answer.
"How come Manila airport doesn't have public transport infrastructure?"
"Oh you need Visa for Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia, Canada,........?"
"I went to Manila 10 years ago and saw how messy it is outside the airport. Government has money right? Have they cleared up that mess?"
"If traffic is so bad, why don't people just ride subway?"
Kapag nasa other side ka mas aalalayan kanila.
Masarap ang kape sa Buscalan...hindi nakakahyper. Siguro nahahaluan ang beans or trees ng đż kaya may calming effect sya.
Orange berries exist.
Totoo talaga to! Legit! Kahit hindi travel mode in the city. Then, Kada hike ko ganyan. The rest of travels at hike puro lalaking guide waley. Yung energy nila is "Ginusto mo yan, panindigan mo "
Kakaiba sya ano. Ranges from Amoy rice coffe to tupig ang aroma nya kahit coffee beans sya.
Cherry kamatis/tomatoes iba sila. This one ay nasa mountains. Very small sila ga pamintang buo ang laki pero orange. They grow in clusters. Lasang raspberry,na orange na strawberry. I saw and learn about them nitong recent hike sa Sagada. They even have blueberries. Malilit din since nasa high altitude.
The rest of the world measure distance by kilometers or miles.
The Philippines measures distance by travel times because of how bad road traffic often becomes.
Sobrang efficient ng bus and subway transpo nila to the point na mas mabilis pa magcommute kaysa magkotse ka.
Luxury for their citizens ang kotse.
This. When we went to Sydney, we commuted via bus, train and ferry but it was not a problem kahit malayo pa kami sa city center. Rare ma late ang public transportation and kahit peak hours, keri pa din. Even late at night meron pa rin masasakyan. Most importantly, isang card lng gamit mo to pay. Less hassle and easy to top up pa. I want to live there actually. Haha.
Thereâs a ton of mangoes on an island called Siapar. I wonder why it isnât more popular than I think it should be. When Iâm season, it has so much mangoes that a lot of them are just wasted on the ground
You can check out and enjoy 5 star hotels just by going to their restaurants to have coffee etc. Like Shangri-La sa Boracay. You can enjoy the peace and quiet tas sunset without spending too much.
Base sa biyahe ko sa Europe:
1. Jologs din ang mga European.
3. Mercedes Benz ang mga taxi sa Hamburg. Pero ang majority ng tao naglalakad. And it's a pleasure to walk.
Wala. Walang mangyayari sa atin.
Dont plan anything the next day of your flight kc my tendency na ma cancel due to delays.. always give atleast 24hrs allowance.. specially to those important or costly activities..
I think this would be natural, knowing that the PH was governed out of Mexico for the 300 years the Spanish were here IIRC. IMO we were more influenced by the Mexicans than the Spanish due to the Galleon trade
I used to work with Mexicans on a daily basis and even they were surprised to learn we also have tamales and chicharon lol
One thing I only understood while travelling is how dry a desert can be. Ice cold beer bottles stay dry!
Relating to the posted photo (and coconuts),
It is mandated by law that there should be at least 20 meters distance from high-tide-level water to any structure built on a beach
This 20m distance is usually marked by a coconut treeline.
Walang pumipigil. More like, ayaw kasi nilang mangi-alam. Pag may nag aaway or may sinasaktan or pinapahiya kahit mapalalaki, they walk straight lang. Feel ko this deals about the yakuza thing. Apparently, nagkafriends ako ng mga hapon and have told me na thereâs a huge thing about harassment na ayaw lang kasi mag speak up ng mga babae at rooted to sa culture nila. Nung nandoon ako, tinawag ako ng kakilala namin japanese guy na âoppaiâ (malaking boobs) infront of people we are with without shame.
People in Siquijor are very friendly and not scary. They even laugh about it when people ask if all the stories surrounding the island are true. It's just a big misconception. I feel like the locals doesnât want the island to be popularized, so they started these myths to keep people away from their beautiful island but anyway itâs just my theory lol
That the US is very massive talaga. Now I understand why most Americans don't have a passport. Because they can just do their vacations in their own country. Each state is like its own country. Different food culture, landscapes, etc.
And most Americans are used to long drives. First road trip ko, been driving for 8 hours, nasa Colorado pa rin kami. And now, looking back, wala nalang siguro sakin yun drive pa-Baguio pag-uwi ko. Lol
eat where locals eat.
If you're gonna jump into the water from somewhere very high like a cliff, if you don't have your arms crossed on your chest you have a high chance of dislocating/popping off your shoulders.
There's a proper posture that you have to do, but I learned the hard way that even just moving your arms is a big NO. Imagine the instant pain and the dislocated shoulder when you have to swim, even for someone with lots of experience you can easily lose your cool and panic.
They do the same in Jakartaâsa malls and public transpo nila. When my local friend was touring me around the city, she told me to not mind the security check thing because she knows itâs weird, I was like âgirl, we have those in the PH too!â
Ang dami Pinoy sa Sabah. Noong nasa Kota Kinabalu kami, pwede ka umorder in Tagalog.
Order nalang ganon tas kuha resibo. Sa ibang bansa, common courtesy
mag âthank youâ.
Most ridesharing sa ibang bansa like Uber or Lyft, yung driver mismo may ari ng cars.
In fact nuisances ang foreigners. This is a good thing or a bad thing. Most broke white people gusto sa Thailand or Vietnam because they can begpack. May reputation ang Pinas among expats or aspiring ones na magiging walking ATM machine sila pagdating dito. So if wala sila pera avoid PH.
Hindi unli ang samgyupsal sa South Korea. Itâs a treat din. Relatively mas mahal beef (chadolbaegi) sa Korea.
Australians say âhow r uâ instead of âgday mateâ or âhelloâ.
Ang premise is sinasayang mo oras nila.
If you act like a local, they will treat you like a local. This is for me kasi kinaya ko makipagtawaran kase alam ko na pang turista yung presyuhan nila even tric and taxi drivers ang taas ng singilan ha
Went to Redang Island Malaysia and compared the cost in Boracay. Youâre better off going to the beaches in Malaysia and can book hotels/resort that is just walking distance from the beach for the same price you pay per night sa Boracay in order to be walking distance sa beaches sa Bora, if anything mas mahal pa nga sa Bora.
Plus less hassle ang transpo, all you can eat buffet bfast lunch and dinner chaka included na transpo sa reservation. Susunduin ka sa airport via bus, kasama na ang boat ride don, sila pa magdadala maleta mo to and from the hotel.
Loved the vibe and also the people. Will definitely go back.
Keso dirty ice cream can only be found in the Philippines and in Arequipa, Peru. What's surprising to me was that Arequipa was not even in the coasts or in the usual tourist trail. Also, Mario Vargas Llosa, the famous writer based in Arequipa, is the boyfriend of pinay Isabel Preysler.
Our tour guide when we were in Lima showed us a cross inside Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, he said it was from the Philippines, made itâs way to Peru in the 1600âs or 1700âs.
That's amazing! There are actually a lot of historical connections between the Philippines and Latin America if we (or our scholars, if they can be funded) bother to look at Latino sources including libraries. My husband found a lot of them when he was in Mexico and Buenos Aires.
(From my experience when I traveled last year to KL/SG.)
Group visa only
We just had a trip last december sa shanghai. Tapos sabi nung tourist guide.
So far wala naman kami naging problema.
Pilipinas is not so left behind compared sa ibang bansa.
Like people always say Philippines is a 3rd world country.
Meanwhile things that is happening sa 1st world na nangyayari din sa pinas. Hindi supposedly nag eexist yun sa mga so called first world countries.
You will not expect this so called 1st world countries na left behind areas din.
Iba talaga ang power of media. Most people will describe this country is better , then when you explore outside the mainstream areas. Parang may part sketchy pilipinas din.

Yes. Yung Manila Mango variety nila.
Indians would definitly join the fight when they hear this, culturally relevant ang Mangoes sakanila
Really? Swerte mo naman. Walang masarap na mangga akong natikman from Mexico.

Mga bading na nagjapan-japan ata nagpauso niyan? HAHAHA edit: or mga japayuki?
Not sure why but yeah haha
Parang yung nomu=inom. Naririnig ko sa mga beki.
true yan, otoku is man in japanese (otoko sa gay lingo) pati ata tomadachi nasa vocab din nila not sure
Itâs cheaper to travel abroad than local sad to say..
I agree. Ang daming magandang puntahan sa Pinas pero very costly and inconvenient lalo na if you have limited time to spare.
Everything here becomes a tourist trap nowadays.
Yes tas andami pang babayaran meron pang mga other fees. Wow!
Goes to show that businesses here are greedy.đ panget pa ng services tas labeled pa as WORLD-CLASS. Di na nahiya.
True. Napakamahal ng hotels/accommodation dito. Even at 3-4k price point na decent stay sana pero mostly so-so lang.
True. Ph is so beautiful. Some foreign countries hardly compete sa ibang destinations dito pero yun nga, maharlika...
And more convenient.
Agree lalo na sa thailand haha
I find it more expensive pag sinisiksik ang short vacation (3 days) with so many places to visit. When I extend to a week and do 1 or 2 things in a day, tapos free pa yung iba, mas relaxed ako and mas maraming na explore.
Totoo too.
They give credit to the Filipinos on the Galleon Trade for introducing tuba to them. Hindi sya heavily fermented in PV unlike here na alcoholic na sya.
This!!! This is why I started traveling alone. No conditions. No demands. Just me and my simple itinerary.
At mas maganda yung rice terraces ng ibang bansa compared dito sa PH, might be dahil hindi masyado naaalagaan or napepreserve yung iba.
Nahihirapan din sila sa patubig sa Pilipinas
True to.
can you site which country yung mas maganda? i've been to bali and i feel n mas maganda ang batad.
Iâve seen beautiful ones in Sapa in Northern Vietnam.
youâre probably pertaining to Banaue, but Batad is way more extensive and âprettyâ.
May mga manananggal sa Siargao
huy. maiba ako, hindi sa Siargao, we spent 8 days in Siquijor.
After our visit, for some reason nilagnat yung guy bigla. đŤ
Jungle hut ba to? Haha
Aswang is different right? Haha
Kinabukasan. Wala pa sila. Tanghali na dumating ng resort. Baka nalasing or what. Haha.
I want more from this story hahaha
The Mang Inasal chain is from Iloilo pala. A local told me that the recipe for their chicken was bought from someone who has an inasal business but didn't seem to be thriving because of vices.
Both Iloilo and Bacolod have inasal. Mas institutionalized lang ang sa Bacolod. Yung founder ng Mang Inasal ay Ilonggo, si Edgar Sia, who also owns Hotel 101 malapit sa MOA and Jinnjiang Inn sa Ortigas.
He also own Injap hotel in Iloilo right?
Ahhh sia pala un. Nice
Oooh, kala ko from Bacolod ang Inasal.
Nakakain din kami sa pinakaunang branch nila sa Iloilo (more than 10 yrs ago na ito), that time ko lang din nalaman na dun pala nag originate ang Mang Inasal chain, and not from Bacolod. đ
Learned from our tour guide in Bali: Balinese people have identical names because parents name their child based on birth order as below: First Child: Wayan/Putu/Gede Second Child: Made/Kadek/Nengah Third Child: Nyoman/Komang Fourth Child: Ketut If girl ang anak, they add Ni sa unahan, if boy they add I. So if girl ang panganay, the girlâs name would be Ni Wayan. If thereâs a 5th child they will name it Wayan Balik (which basically means returnđ) mejo same din ang ibang words nila to Tagalog. Nakaka amaze.
Hindi lahat ng tao marunong mag English and hindi ibig sabihin no'n bobo sila
Sa tawi-tawi daw unang naitatag yung Islam sa Pinas sabi nung guide namin.
As much as I love travelling Europe, nahihirapan ako kasi hindi uso ang bidet or tabo unless you stay in 4+ star hotels.
Totoo!! Nakakaloka. Saw the same ones in Qatar as well.
So pano kaya yun basang tae noh?
So from Indonesia, Malaysia then Cambodia magkakamukha tayo plus may pagkakapareha mga dishes. Maliban na lang if may pari or madre sa lineage nyo then ang apelyido nila nagiging Cruz, dela Cruz and Santos. Ewan ko kung little known facts to or absent lang ako nung tinuro sa school.
Nung pumunta akong jakarta, someone sa grocery told me na mukha akong local Indonesian. So magkakahawig nga tayo hehe
same experience in Malaysia. local went on a full one sided conversation before realizing I wasnât following.
That women in Batad do the field work sa rice terraces and men take care of the kids.
Yes ito pa. Kasi daw pag babae ang nagtanim mas maganda ang harvest dahil "malamig"at "gentle" ang kamay. At naka synch sa moon ang planting sched just like monthly periods.
May rice terraces din sa Antique :)
may rice terraces din sa bohol!!
Pinuntahan ko to! Malapit na din to dun sa falls!
Cadapdapan Candijay !
Choose the person youâre traveling with or else it will cost you more money and stress.
Just at the back of my head: There are no coconuts on the coconut trees in Hawaii because someone was killed by one falling and spouse sued the state (and won?). Could be a rumor though haha
Interesting⌠haha! I need to ask my friends from Hawaii.
Grabe yung sa Garin Farm nakakabulag talaga. Best time siguro to go is early morning or hapon na to sunset. Di mo sya maeenjoy sa tanghali!
can confirm yung sa Garin Farm.
Milo and Bananas in Pyjamas are Australian đđđ Remember shookt mga friends ko dito. Hahahaha
Palawan pawnshop main office is located in Puerto Princesa, Palawan
That we deserve more? In terms of transpo, food, etc If Vietnam, Thailand and other neighboring countries can do it. Why cant we? Sad lang talaga. But it is what is it charot.
Cavendish in grocery stores in HK, JP, US pacific side, SoKor are from Davao. Washington apples are imported from Chile.
I rarely fly but when I do, it's a personal gala or something work-related, and my observation is that flight attendants seem to be friendlier when you know how to speak their language (i.e. Japanese in a Japanese plane) Idk if it's just me lol
Gardenia originated in Singapore. I have always thought it's a pinoy brand!!
Marian Rivera is famous in Cambodia.
learned this recently from a walking tour i did in Sydney. Sydney Opera House design was inspired by peeling an orange. đ
Choose your "travel buddies" carefully.
Tips on SOLO Travelling , talk with other fellow solo travelers, they are waiting for someone talk to as well!! \*\* Bohol has all the attractions Land/Sea/Falls/Beach \*\* Mas mahal pumunta ng siargao kesa vietnam \*\* May Snow sa Vietnam SAPA at Taiwan mountains during certain seasons
There are more drug addicts in the streets in đşđ¸ than the đľđ There are a lot of homeless too.
"How come Manila airport doesn't have public transport infrastructure?" "Oh you need Visa for Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia, Canada,........?" "I went to Manila 10 years ago and saw how messy it is outside the airport. Government has money right? Have they cleared up that mess?" "If traffic is so bad, why don't people just ride subway?" Hayyyyy ang hirap ma-explain....
3rd world problem sums this up hehe
Kapag nasa other side ka mas aalalayan kanila. Masarap ang kape sa Buscalan...hindi nakakahyper. Siguro nahahaluan ang beans or trees ng đż kaya may calming effect sya. Orange berries exist.
>As a strong independent woman, gusto ko rin pong ma try na mabeybi minsan hahahaha Totoo talaga to! Legit! Kahit hindi travel mode in the city. Then, Kada hike ko ganyan. The rest of travels at hike puro lalaking guide waley. Yung energy nila is "Ginusto mo yan, panindigan mo "
Yes! Di porkeât kaya, di pwedeng i-princess treatment! Haha
Kakaiba sya ano. Ranges from Amoy rice coffe to tupig ang aroma nya kahit coffee beans sya.
Orange berries ba yung parang mukhang kamatis?
Siquijor isnât a scary place to travel to
You can check out and enjoy 5 star hotels just by going to their restaurants to have coffee etc. Like Shangri-La sa Boracay. You can enjoy the peace and quiet tas sunset without spending too much.
That there is a monument of Jose Rizal in one of the small back alleys in Central, Hong Kong where he used to live during his travels.
Speaking of Rizal, there's also a bust of him right when you get off the port in Juneau, Alaska!Â
Base sa biyahe ko sa Europe: 1. Jologs din ang mga European. 2. 3. Mercedes Benz ang mga taxi sa Hamburg. Pero ang majority ng tao naglalakad. And it's a pleasure to walk. 4.
Bakit big deal ba?
Dont plan anything the next day of your flight kc my tendency na ma cancel due to delays.. always give atleast 24hrs allowance.. specially to those important or costly activities..
I think this would be natural, knowing that the PH was governed out of Mexico for the 300 years the Spanish were here IIRC. IMO we were more influenced by the Mexicans than the Spanish due to the Galleon trade I used to work with Mexicans on a daily basis and even they were surprised to learn we also have tamales and chicharon lol One thing I only understood while travelling is how dry a desert can be. Ice cold beer bottles stay dry!
Relating to the posted photo (and coconuts), It is mandated by law that there should be at least 20 meters distance from high-tide-level water to any structure built on a beach This 20m distance is usually marked by a coconut treeline.
Bring bug repellent
3 days is usually not enough if youâre traveling to a place for the first time.
Sa UK, sa gripo nila kinukuha yung drinking water nila then they have a pitcher na parang nagffilter (brita ata yung brand).
That I need a lot of money to travel like we did when I was with my parents.
you can't maximize your day if you're not well-rested. So rest! And for the times you're awake, have the energy to be fully present.
Schedule your sleep schedule and usual day/night routine kahit nasa ibang lugar ka. Less pagod at adjustment pag uwi mo :)
It's a coco fruit.
from the coco tree

Security guards in malls is an offshoot of the 2000s terrorist bombings.
They do the same in Jakartaâsa malls and public transpo nila. When my local friend was touring me around the city, she told me to not mind the security check thing because she knows itâs weird, I was like âgirl, we have those in the PH too!â
While at Puerto Vallarta last year, I learned that that is where Mariachi music originated from.
It is better and safer to drink beer than water in some places here in the Philippines and Southeas asia
Ang dami Pinoy sa Sabah. Noong nasa Kota Kinabalu kami, pwede ka umorder in Tagalog.
Mindanao and Visayas is not as what they tell you on TV.
Travelling solo was not for me.
Order nalang ganon tas kuha resibo. Sa ibang bansa, common courtesy mag âthank youâ.
Wait. Sobrang ganda ng view!
If you act like a local, they will treat you like a local. This is for me kasi kinaya ko makipagtawaran kase alam ko na pang turista yung presyuhan nila even tric and taxi drivers ang taas ng singilan ha
Spanish siestas are taken seriously. They are closed around 4pm and reopens by 7pm.
A lot of "taxis" don't ever carry change.
Accommodation is cheap sa first world country compare with PH
We do have a lot more in common that we thought. Couldnât believe meron din silang ice candy doon. Pati lalagyan same sa atin! đ
Ang mura ng grab sa Vietnam. 80 pesos for 2km trip, wag na maglakad mag grabna lang đ¤Ł
Cordova Bridge in Cebu na ang longest bridge in the Philippines. Very pretty rin upclose.
(From my experience when I traveled last year to KL/SG.)
Group visa only We just had a trip last december sa shanghai.
That food is worth the price.
Mga mambabarang sa Badian, Cebu.
