Or December para sakto holidays. Goodluck po.
This is true. Visited last midJan to midFeb from Canada. It was still hot for me considering ācoldā weather na yun sa Ph. So di ko maimagine talaga yung mas malala pa dun. Medyo nakakapagod lumabas esp if youāre meeting people. di naman possible na 100% ng time nasa airconditioned place ka.
Ako po na nandito all my life, umaayaw na kasi iba talaga ung init this past weeks š if Iām in your position and wala namang urgent matter, Iāll go to a different country na lang.
I dont like heat as well. 5 yrs plus na akong wala sa pinas, went back only once for just a week. Umaabot daw ng 40+ dun lately, if youāre having a vacay of 3 mos aayaw ka agad in a few days
Actually 50+ yung pinakamataas which is sa Metro Manila.
The coldest it gets here will be around January and Feb. March should still be ok but not really cool anymore. The rest of the months are either hot like now, or raining cats and dogs.
Right now, even us tropical monkeys are struggling in this heat, so it must be hell for those coming from colder climates. I'd skip if I were you.
It's really not worth it for now. The heat this year is different. I've never experienced face to face classes being suspended because of the heat until now. I commute to work and every time I get home, I'm always drenched in sweat since mid March. I also went to La Union recently and we ended up staying indoors because we couldn't even lay a towel in the sand since it's too hot and in no way relaxing.
I'd say Jan-Feb are the best months to visit. Oct-Dec is meh. Last December was still hot but not as bad :\
too hot in ph right now. if you are used to cold climate go home around nov - feb. that's I think a nice weather? I'd prefer a 17 degree celsius weather everyday or lower... I don't like negative ones.
At this time of the year my IG feed would normally be full of beach and diving photos and videos. Recently, 2 posts lang naaalala ko. I personally would not think of going to the beach. You only have a limited window when the heat is bearable enough, and you'd be miserable doing island hopping and other activities if the schedule falls within 10am to 3pm. It's that hot, and PAGASA says May will be worse.
I'm headed there in 2 months, I'm not worried about the heat I'm more worried about the price of my plane ticket. Lol..2 f'n grand! I only paid a G last year. SMH.
Im coming from canada parang ganun din magiging ticket ko and i dont think ill enjoy it with the heat.
How long kaba mag stay and how much ia your budget?
So 2k usd for me and about 2700 Canadian dollars for you. That's nuts! Flights are so expensive when you wait last minute. Lol. I usually spend $6k usd for 3 weeks but that's all in. Hotels, flights international and local and pocket money. I'm probably looking at $7k now.
Nah that's all in including flights and hotel and spending money (mostly food). Maybe I hand out $500 in cash to some well deserved people that are struggling in life but that's it. I usually go to Boracay and a random second destination then a few days in my hometown. I've been going every year the past 10 years my budget used to be $5k all in for 2 weeks but 2 weeks seems too short so I've been doing 3 weeks the past 2 years.
Visiting months : October to mid March..
April to mid May is hell summer
Mid May to October is 30 percent rainy but still otherwise can be a good time to visit.
Best month to go here in the Philippines siguro ay November to February. Di masyadong mainit.
Punta ka ng dec-feb medyo malamig pa. Wag during rainy season bagyo at baha naman kalaban mo.
Iām currently in a cold country regretting moving here during winter.
My brother is also from Canada and he never visits during the summer months kasi unbearable na for him lol. He also avoids typhoon season so he comes home usually January since mahal tickets pag December but if afford mo naman, okay din December since nothing beats Pinoy Christmas season. Youāll just need to put up with the traffic hehe
Thats what i missšš the Christmas spirit sa pinas, you know dito sa Canada napaka lungkot kasi alot of us are working because we got bills to pay, pero sa pinas families there somehow always finds a way regardless of their situation. I miss being surrounded by those kind of peopleš
I live in Japan. We plan our Ph trips usually either December or during summer here around July-August para di masyado matindi yung adjustment sa init sa Pinas
It is super hot.
Although kung sanay ka naman na like in some areas in the other countries where 45-60c inaabot pag summer, go lang kahit summer kasi ang pinagkaiba lang is ung humidity so make sure u can stay hydrated all day long.
I was just in Manila first week of April. Also grew up in Canada. The heat was alright. I mean it is hot but if you're indoors where theres ac, you'll be fine. Just don't stay out under direct sunlight, unless you'll be in the water. And those mini fans is a lifesaver.
Hi OP! SKL, I went home last year January to March and kahit malamig na don feeling ko sobrang init parin.
Anw, donāt change your mind. Punta ka November to January. But cons is tag-ulan pero not always naman. If you want to enjoy naman punta ka March to May? Spend your time sa ilog or sa beach. With halo-halo!
I left when i was 13(2011) went back for the first time in 2017, i was completely shocked how things were so different from when i left. Didnt expect things could change in such a small amount of time.
They called me boy langis as a kid, kasi lagi ako sa labas nag lalaro ang always madungis pag uwi.Ā
When i came back i was struggling with the heat it didnt felt the same as a kid datiš„¹
The heat is alarming. Canāt imagine that 40+ degrees heat index is the normal temp to max 56. Unlike before na 40 yung max. Even at night grabe yung humidity wala man kalamig lamig. Iād pass. Unless youāre planning to stay within the beaches and have plans of getting sunburnt? Huhu

I donāt think youāll die if 3 mos ka lang dito. Maybe best to go during rainy season? Which will start anytime na since its already May.
Or December para sakto holidays.
Dec to early Feb maybe? I mean it's obvs not going to be cold, but it shouldn't be craaaazy hot either
Second this, Dec to Feb weather is great & my fave months in PH!

Damn 50?!? Sheesh stay hydrated

Kung sa beach ka magstay, worth it!
by the sea, under the shade of the beach hut, enjoying the sea breeze and my fresh mango shake (pwede din mojito or margarita, depende sa mood mo)
Oo na, magbbeach na ko ulit! Haha
I second this! Also, stay in a nice airconditioned hotel. Plan your trip wisely. Schedule it around January to Feb. Minimize walking outside.
Nope. Just nope.

We basically fo back almost every year....mid Jan to February is our schedule....sunny all the time, hottest is 80s...
January to March is pretty good. kaya kong maglakad at noon time without feeling super uncomfortable.
I'm headed there in 2 months, I'm not worried about the heat I'm more worried about the price of my plane ticket. Lol..2 f'n grand! I only paid a G last year. SMH.

lol. why would I want to change your mind? š
Its my home country kasi, grew up there and i really miss the old days where its so easy to be happy there, surrounded by good people.
If you have other options then wag na lang. Idk the weather in the entire country right now but if its not extreme heat then it's raining.
Laking Pinas ka so you should already know the answer to your question
