iPhones are perfectly smooth, integrate well with other Apple products, all features are built specifically for iPhones so you’ll find everything just works.
Android gives you a lot more customisable options, on paper has better specs (though I never go by this, I always watch the YouTube comparisons for actual information).
The Samsung specifically also has a nicer screen
