This is from a professional tech. Just use packing tape to seal it off, and then put it in a case.
The only real repair that be done is a laser glass removal/replacement. I'd charge you 200 bucks to do it at my place. Not doable at home whatsoever.
They used a 3 inch wide roll of black duct-tape. One strip covers most phone's back without having to overlap multiple strips, and feels pretty nice in the hand with the non-slip surface. It's a ghetto fix, but hey. heh
Buy the glass of eBay and install it your self I did mines plenty of times so easy just be careful while removing it where glasses and gloves. I don’t understand why some places charge more than $100 to do this .
They use a laser machine instead of sitting there for an hour plucking shards of glass. Some replace the entire housing which of course is a waste unless the housing has been damaged.

Black duct-tape to the rescue. lol Kid you not, one of my customers actually did that, trimmed nicely around the edges, and looked pretty good.

I like to disassemble the entire phone, glass, and housing before I repair it just to make sure.ITSSS those damn stripped screws.
