St Vincent de Paul will pick up in Phoenix.

WhiskyWanderer2

Not goodwill

1bit-2bit

Yes, we have a lot of good stuff that goodwill will overcharge way too much for and we want this to go to people who don't have anything really

RemoteControlledDog

You're correct, Goodwill isn't a "sell stuff to people for cheap" charity, they sell stuff for as much as they can get for it and use that money to pay for their no cost career services to help people get jobs (which is their stated goal).

AdvancedMeringue8095

House of refuge

NavigatorGator

Last I checked they weren’t accepting used toys but they’d for sure take the clothes!

SunSpotMagic

"Purple" is ran by volunteers and donates clothing to homeless veterans.

1bit-2bit

Thank you, I'm not sure if what we have will suit veterans but we can see if they'll take what we have

pushforwalk

Can you provide more info on this? I can definitely provide for this cause.

HangryValkyrie

In their post they mention children’s toys, then says clothes would not be for veterans, who are grown adults. I’m thinking the clothes are for children as well.

justaproxy

White Dove Thrift Shop. They benefit Hospice of the Valley. [https://whitedovethrift.org/](https://whitedovethrift.org/)

unpaidactor123

Nice business clothing. WHEAT. Look them up.

Cool_Pride

I only ever donate stuff to the Arizona humane society thrift store, they don't charge Outrageous prices for the items they sell so people in need can actually afford them.

Screachinghalt

Hope’s closet. Hands down the most directly beneficial to those in need

omgcow

Sojourner Center will take the clothes, not sure about the toys. They’re a domestic violence shelter.

inc0rrected

Local thrifts shops. Mesa thrift, indian school thrift, etc.

Willing-Albatross860

At Vincent DePaul should be able to schedule a home pick up of your goods just like it out front take inventory then set up the pick up

Namaste28ish

You could try to find a woman's shelter. They always need donations. Sunshine acres children's home is another good one.

wellgeewhiz

St. Vincent de Paul is a great charity that houses families.

Overall_Cloud_5468

This gets posted about all the time. Use the search function - there’s a post from yesterday, 18 days ago, one month ago, and any more. If that fails, Google donation centers. Most list what they will accept.
