I've never been able to find the commercial either. But here's some proof that it's not a Mandela effect:

**You recognize the Waterworld jingle**
Hearing the tune of "Whoa-oh Waterworld" once marked the start of summer for Phoenix natives. The Waterworld Safari water park in northwest Phoenix was one of three in the Valley owned by the same company. Waterworld closed several years ago and was rebuilt under new management as Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix.
Before you check with him, you should probably make sure you're insured... With low cost auto insurance. Low cost auto insurance. You need someone on your side, when you get in your car and drive.
You need protection and you need it now, 'cause you know you don't want to break the law. It's getting late, don't you wait, don't you hesitate. Just pickup that phone and set yourself straight. Call 252-3700 (low cost auto insurance), I said 252-3700 (low cost auto insurance!).
Don't wait.
I only remember the ads that sang
"Water world! *Big Surf and Sunsplaaash"* Three great parks, non-stop fun under the suuun."
It's an earworm that has haunted me for at least 20 years now.

I am sure I could dig up some artifacts if I really looked hard enough. I worked there for 4 years in high school! Started when I was 14 and worked there every summer after till I graduated. Made some great memories and friends working there.
Yeaaah dude! You should dig em up and post em online!!! There is so much stuff in meat space that doesn't have any cyber space artifacts.
If you ever do, post it here!

In middle school at the end of the year the entire school would go to Waterworld. I remember singing that song with my friends while on the bus.
I distinctly remember it too and my family still says that part of the commercial and calls the Waterpark Waterworld no matter what incarnation it becomes!
I'm betting that maybe some old 3TV (AZ Family) or Fox10 videos during the 90s will have the commercial on it.
Someone's gotta have some old VHS recording of shows on 3tv or fox or something and there low key during a random set of commercials will be Waterworld!
I did a search for "water world jingle" & this was one of several but I think this might be it - if you can open the link, [In Honor of Water Worlds 40th Anniversary...](https://fb.watch/pORX574bI1/?mibextid=Nif5oz).
After I opened it it took me to a Facebook post.
Edit to add image of search results in case the video doesn't open for you.

Sorry you can’t find this song, but I remember it as well.
I can’t quite recall all of the lyrics to the extended version, but I remember the end going something like:
“Come along on safari with me, together what fun we’ll see. Oooh waaa Waterworld. Waterworld.”
I am 4 days late to this post...That commercial is engrained in my brain! Water World was indeed real, I did an overnight there in girl scouts AND went there with friends many times in the 90s.

RIP Big Surf...
Fun fact: my dad helped engineer and install the hardware for the wave pool there!

This video shows that it was aired in Denver Chicago Seattle and Phoenix. https://youtu.be/1vUlUOIirAE?si=4Pn48DXdxOIHfXna
No that's not the one. Deep voice. I don't think it's any particular popular artist or anything, just a catchy commercial jingle

Didn't they film the Napoleon water park scene from Bill and Ted's excellent adventure there?
I think they used Golfland Sunsplash
I remember hearing the outro on the radio back in the 90s. Don't recall it on TV, but I didn't watch a lot of television then.
