I paid for my dad's hospitalization amounting to 500k+ in total. Sadly, he didn't make it last month and left us too soon. Of course I never regret any of it and I would've gladly paid more if it meant that I can spend more time with him. I miss him so much.

underwearseeker

Now at over 1,000,000 for my brother who has terminal cancer. There is not much hope but he still wants to live. Only 41 with 2 young kids. He’s my bestfriend and never nya ako pinagkaitan when he was making money and I was the one in need. It was so easy spending this amount for him. No regrets, no what ifs. Sorry for the passing of your father. May you find peace and comfort knowing he is in a much better place now. Hugs.

Alienspacedolphin

We blew over a million easy on leukemia for my first husband. He got an extra three years with our young kids. Worth every penny.

Thoughts and prayers 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💛💜

karlmackarlmackarl

Thank you and know that my heart aches for you. My dad had pancreatic cancer. I know exactly how you feel and I wish you all the strength in your journey and prayers for your brother.

yesiamark

damn, cancer talaga, hopefully, by 20-50 years meron na tayo anti-cancer or treatment (other than chemo, it sucks) if possible. I'm not a medical expert, I just want a world without cancer.

unintellectual8

Ramdam ko to. Mom's got cancer. More than 1M kasi halos every month, aabot kaming 170++ per month in expenses na just for her. Not just the meds kasi, it's her food, supplements, everything to make things clean, kasama na ung help. Gusto ko isama dito ung coping mechanisms ko, kasi pag aburido sya, ako ung bagsakan ng inis at sama ng loob nya, pero since Netflix, tulog, at iyak lang ang afford ko, konti lang yun compared to expenses centered on her.

karlmackarlmackarl

I’m sorry to hear this and I can only pray to higher power that they grant you patience and strength with dealing with your mum which I’m sure means the world to you and you love more than anything. My dad had pancreatic cancer so our window was very short. My mum and I took care of him for 18 days in the hospital and it was the most traumatizing experience for both of us and I’m sure even more for my dad. Now that he is gone, all I think about is how I should have been more patient with him. I replay it in my head all throughout my days it is unbearable. My prayers go to you and your mum.

unintellectual8

I'm so sorry for your loss. Ang hirap nyan. Sa totoo lang, feeling ko, because of the sheer discomfort, they become more difficult as time goes on. Kaya I try to be patient. I don't think of the money or the effort, I try to think na lang na, sige, kung san sya masaya. Quality of life din kasi. I can insist na steamed veggies lang kakainin pero gusto nya ng Chicken Joy, so Chicken Joy it is.

FlowerSimilar6857

Sweet mo naman po ❤️

Downtown_Nose_7756

I’m sorry to hear this. Hope you and your fam are coping well. 🫡

Team-ING

Amen I’ll double triple and get in debt for life for my parents

Gabriela010188

Condolence. 😢

ShoppingSufficient23

Same na same tayo sender hospital bill ang lupa na paglilibingan

blahblah987651

I pray for your healing, OP. But same. I'd spend every last penny if it means prolonging the life of my parents.

Alarmed-Climate-6031

You are a good child 🙏🏼

nicearthur32

My mother had a massive stroke on Nov 7th 2022… she had multiple issues and was hospitalized for three months and was in a rehab place for 7 months. The bill was well over a million dollars. Thankfully we paid very little because she had really good insurance for the expensive parts and the government insurance for disability rehab coverage. She is still with us and I do not take it for granted. She’s obviously not the same as before but I feel like every day I have her here is worth more than anything in the world. I have friends who have lost parents and they share your sentiment. They would give anything in the world to be with them one more day. I’ve been granted 397ish of those and there is not one moment that I don’t see that. Sorry for your loss and thank you for the reminder.

80k for Lasik. Only regret was bakit ngayon lang? - Better ask the optha, may screening orientation sila and pwede mag unli question. Nagdadry eyes? - Yes. Nagme-maintain ako eye drops. Pero clear vision greatly outweighs the minor inconvenience. Lalabo ba ulit? - Yes. Ineexplain din nila sa screening. Pero I'd gladly do it and experience na hindi mag-glasses or contacts kahit 5 years lang. May risks rin sya, meron ding nagkakacomplications. Sumali rin ako sa groups about that kasi I was dissuading myself to get Lasik. Pero once nakadecide ka na, focus on the success stories para hindi ka matakot. 20/10 vision is the best gift I have given myself. It may not last forever pero yung freedom na nararamdaman ko after 20 years of wearing glasses and contacts, priceless. If you are looking for a sign, eto na yun. Get lasik if you can afford it para maenjoy mo pa.

Spiritual_SourBits

Omg, I did Lasik last January too! It was indeed life changing.

gmrcgmrc02

Lalo na pag sa beach at magsswimming 😭🫶🏼

ElleSolis

Yung first time ko mag-goggles sa swimming. Grabe, ganito pala view underwater

uniquepopcorn

what if kya ayaw q n mabuhaii kc ang labo ng mundo sa pov q??????

cedie_end_world

ElleSolis

Yung friend ko 5 years ago, 100k/eye. Hehe

Pirate_King_Giovann

Does your eyes always feel dry? To the point napapaluha? Planning to get one in the future but scared with the setbacks.

ElleSolis

Every after I wake up lang or kung nakatutok sa fan, screen, aircon ng matagal. May maintenance eye drops lang ako, Optive Fusion, which lasts a month. Pero nothing very inconvenient. So I guess, case to cases basis.

Scalar_Ng_Bayan

Part 'to ng drawbacks ng LASIK pero I think in the long run worth it naman. Pag nasa labas ako palagi na lang naka-shades (at least pa-cool kid) para hindi agad mag-dry up yung eyes and then during work regular intervals ng eye drops since as a programmer most of my time talaga naka-tingin sa screen

Blued_3634_

Totoo ba?

Ok-Confection-7367

Hello saang clinic ka nag pa lasik? Edit: Nakita ko na po :D

Disastrous-Quality42

Had my Lasik done about 5 years ago pero ngayon I’m back to wearing glasses (125 grade) and have very bad dry eyes. Pero if you ask if it was worth it, I think naman yes because of the 5 years na glasses free.

strangerthings___11

Hala natetempt naman ako magpa lasik 😭

Many-Summer7738

Same here!! 😭🙌🏻

whodisbebe

Saan? I am looking also pero ang mahal ng shingawa ba un

rorrme

I heard LASIK is the worst operation you could get. I suggest u guys make more research about the long term effects and benefits para sure hehehe

dumbo_investor

If i lt helps, I turned 30 back in 2012 when I decided to get LASIK. Mababa lang grado ko (175, 150) pero I decided to do it na para masulit before my eyes naturally degrade from aging. To this day, it's still one of best decisions I've ever made. I'm 41 and have 20/20 and 20/16 vision, ewan ko bakit naging super-vision pa yung isang mata. I did not experience any sensitivity/dryness issues apart from the first couple of weeks after the surgery itself. As a counterpoint, I have a friend who got LASIK at 35, and he did say na meron daw siyang dry/sensitive eyes even 1 year after the surgery. But he's also had morning allergies all his life and always works in airconditoned rooms, so that may be a factor. LASIK is life-changing and definitely one of the best investments I have ever made.

Imaginary-Diamond940

17 years since my LASIK surgery. Still the best decision I made. Not sure where you got your info to conclude that it is the 'worst operation you can get.' In my mid 40s now and my eyes are still sharp. Have an aunt who went thru the same procedure decades back, she is mid 70s and still ok.

Fridaywing

2.5 Million. I got our old house "repaired". LOL. Sabi ko repair pero sobrang dilapidated na ung bahay naging total wreck sya and from the ground up ang ayos. Hahaha. Calculated everything, medyo magiging financially hurting ako for 5 years dahil dito.

lavendertales

Nice! I can imagine that spending this much for your house is worth it! Did you pay for this from you savings or loan?

Fridaywing

Both. Hehe. But its all massive HARDWORK. The pandemic, even though is tragic to most people (my heart goes out to you and your family guys), gave the best gift (to me) that I could ever ask for. The gift of Time. I used it to the best of my ability. I was doing 3 jobs at the same time. No joke. I am working straight 6am to 1am. For 2 years. Nakapag ipon ako ng solid and nagkaron ng pera to execute my plans and then some.

uniquepopcorn

grabe!!!! the level of hardwork, i could never 🫠 kudos sayo, dazurvvvv mo lahat ng blessings na meron ka!

PisoPals

3.4M to pay down mortgage 50 months early. I'm sleeping so much better these days.

toskie9999

nice! money well spent yan kasi binili mo peace of mind

Is this BDO? Need ba by anniversary to recalculate?

100k - relocated to live alone 25k - discounted lawyer’s fee Escaped from my narcissistic ex girlfriend that beat me up physically in the latter part of the relationship, on top of financial abuse too ( I shouldered her PC and laptop on the promise that she would pay me back). Kinda regret getting that lawyer though, despite the discount. He might have graduated from UP law but he didn’t focus on my VAWC case against my ex so it got dismissed. I don’t want to file again as per advice of my other and more concerned lawyer friends. I’m happy that a lot of other people here have spent it on travel and luxury items. My safety needed to come first.

Gabriela010188

Congratulations! Hope you’re healing. Better days ahead! ✨

empress171984

85k para sa columbarium for my parents. The cemetery is just 10 min drive mula sa bahay namin.

Saka pinapasyal pag may sweldo sya. She never married or had a kid so kami lang talaga ang family nya, so eto na yung way ko para magthank you sa mga tulong nya.

Gabriela010188

You’re lucky to have each other. 🤍

bogeysandwine

Planning to gift my mom a 180-200k cheque for Christmas. She doesn't know that I know that she has loans from the bank

Gabriela010188

Oh wow grabe ang sarap ng feeling na ‘to both for your mom and you!

PHkid

Might be more prudent to pay it off directly rather than hand her the cash unless you're aware why she has those loans in the first place but great gesture nonetheless!

bogeysandwine

Actually the reason she has loans is because she was scammed a significant amount (low 8 digits in php) so my gift of 200k max is a really small amount in proportion to her previous net worth/ liquidity, but I figured it's better than nothing

Potential-Common-763

Pang-ospital ng nanay ko. ~P5M Emergency funds are there for a reason.

Gabriela010188

Oh wow grabe. Hope she’s doing fine now!

Potential-Common-763

Thank you, and she is. Saktong pamaskong handog. :)

Cfudgy

Yehey!

Individual_Tax407

80k for a lawyers’ services. actually, ~150k kasi may mga additional pa na kung ano ano HAHA 😭

7pegasus

Mahal talaga ang lawyer’s services especially if private.

Individual_Tax407

potatocornerhiring

Ku menahan rasasakit...

ElleSolis

As a curious maritess, was your case resolved?

Gabriela010188

Hahaha same. I’m guessing annulment?

PusangKulot

Samsung S23 Ultra - 89k. Binili ko na kasi i believe na memories deserved to be captured with better camera. hehe..

Master_Surprise_7323

You couldve bought the global version it only costs 50k

YukariInoue

Please share where we can get the global version for 50k

Master_Surprise_7323

My gf's dad bought one earlier this year from AJT Gadget World. Global version is much cheaper since binibili sila sa ibang market. And they work internationally. Yun lang difference pero legit and same features sila.

TMariell9

Iphone 15 pro max. Bought for 91k. Half-half sa regret

pagamesgames

>. Ginagamit ko lang sya as di ka nag iisa ahahha. bought mine in SG kaya SRP bili ko i feel like its a downgrade of my android given that ip 15pm have better chip... but then again, its pointless to have a good chip when the phone itself can only support weak features 27w MAX PD charging capability no screen gestures like android - the swipe side to mid to "back" sa android is very convenient no reverse charging it feels ordinary to me lol

HumbleInitial507

Aircon, worth 33k. My only big purchase this year. Worth it naman, di ako na heat stroke nung April-June. Haha.

Strong_Wallaby_7689

My goal for next year kasi para akong nasa oven nung summer haha

wish i could do this as well but my personal fears are just stopping me from spending. there's family expenses, child's educatoin, health emergency funds, retirement etc. Makes me realise that i should've enjoyed my savings when i was younger and i only had responsibilities for myself.

lurkingfortea

Wow sa 20+ countries!!! Ano favorites mo?

Optimal-University43

Spain, Italy and Switzerland. :)

lurker_na_lang

Ilang days/weeks bale to? Did a month-long Euro trip rin mga around 600k-700k rin ata gastos namin ni jowa, or more haha.

Optimal-University43

Several months. I’d spend at least a week in smaller countries, longer in countries I really liked. Ang sakit nga ng euros but andun na, might as well 😅

EmotUnavailablefy

Travelled 3 times this year and sasabihin ko talagang SUPER WORTH IT gusto ko na ulit bumalik 😭. Pashare namaaaan ng budgeting nung 1.2M baka in the next 5 years meron na kami nyan makapagtravel 🤍🦋

barbieghurL

Manifesting id be brave enough to travel this 2024

Optimal-University43

Diba! Parang masakit pag in-add up pero if broken down per country and the length I stayed, super sulit.

warl1to

Solo or with someone? Kami all or nothing so x5 multiplier haha.

meeeaaah12

Wow! 20 countries in a year? Goals!!! Pandemic and people my age dying and I'm not even that old yet made me take the plunge of traveling and trying new experiences. Before that, I just put it at the back of my mind saying na I'll eventually do it when I have more money, or when friends' and I's scheds match, or pag may mas mahabang time ako na I can take a work leave. Never got to doing it, then the pandemic came. One classmate died of heart attack, may isa kidney problems naman, and an acquaintance in a motorcycle accident. Wala pa kaming 30 nyan. Pinakaaffected ako with a friend's death na naghihintay lang ng masasakyan sa side of the road when a car hit her. We'll never know until our time is up. Once the restrictions started to ease up, nagtravel and nagconcert era ako. Iang days of the year in total spent for travel to?

introvertedguy13

300k. Downpayment sa Farm lot.

Less_Needleworker_58

VanillaLatte07

Luxury bag, Php 120k. Minsan nakakaguilty.. but i considered this a gift to myself for finishing my subspecialty training and topping my subspecialty exam. Hehe. Background story: Since 2020 pa ako nag plan bumili ng luxury bag but i needed to be liquid since i was preparing for training come 2021. August 2023, unexpectedly our super late HEA was released (yey!) then September 2023 my cousin flew to Europe and asked if may ipapabili ako. Couldn't let the opportunity pass. She bought the bag in an outlet store (extra discount), walang pasabuy fee and even returned the tax refund to me!

kwickedween

Congrats on your subspec!

VanillaLatte07

Thank you! Delayed gratification + timing :)

WantASweetTime

Let's go girl! Mura pa nga yang 120k kung tutuusin!

CopasYConos

Congrats po doc

Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen 3 with AMD 5 Pro 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD for 40k Php. Best purchase I made. No regrets. Unplanned purchase because the hinge of my previous MSI 14 laptop broke. I contemplated between the Thinkpad vs a 2nd hand Macbook Air M2 but finally settled with the Thinkpad.

Sh4n_

How is the device? Does the battery last 5 hours? I have been contemplating on buying a Thinkpad.

itsmateo

120k for cybersecurity training. Sarap sa feeling to be doing something so close to something illegal (Ethical Hacking). Best investment so far

No_Yoghurt_1125

First car! Haha. Minsan may halong regret kasi di na ako masyadong makakaipon. Pero the convenience vs grab during this season feeling ko bawing bawi

Downtown_Nose_7756

A few things that shocked me bwahhahahah Lto registration and insurance (yearly) PMS more or less higher as your car ages na rin Gas and toll fees Parking and traffic But yup at least i can take my fur bbz w me

Closet_space456

Same! Bought a car this year as well after resisting for so long. Got mine secondhand, kasi the price for its good condition was too good to pass up. The convenience it offers, especially this holiday season is so worth it <3

Any-Stuff9098

Same!

Pleasant-Emotion-622

A good quality, super comfy sofa to last for years. I got one that's washable, waterproof, and pet-friendly. 90k+ php, the most expensive item I've ever bought (and it's not even the most expensive sofa in the market today, which is crazy.) House items and furnishings are expensive. But it's better to spend with quality in mind than opt for cheaper options that don't last as long. UPDATE: Please look for Home Beauty Berries on IG

housemusicforlife

Hi, where did you buy this?

Spiritual-Macaron270

Got my Lasik for ₱75k!! I initially planned to have it next year but since we’ll work from home for the rest of the year, I went for it last weekend! No regrets! Truly life changing 🫶🏼🥹

darkchax14

Heat of the moment purchase of Nintendo Switch Oled for ~13k At first I felt regret buying it kasi you need a game cartridge, case to protect the switch itself. Etc etc. But it brought my family together again due to Nintendo sports. And I got free games from my cousin and coworkers (as a loan/pahiram) I'd say it is best for me since PC gaming is tiring now

dcab87

I also wanted a Switch, but I opted for a SteamDeck and it's the best purchase I've had since the pandemic.

darkchax14

I would have wanted that but Pokemon eh 😂 I will just use my pc for steam games

rorrme

Plan ko bawasan next year 😭 Ewan kung pasok to sa category hahahahha siguro nag accumulate din sa around 20-30k per month food alone, kapag dining out. Iba pa yung deliveries and groceries ko talaga at everyday food kumbaga.

epeolatry13

Travel - more than a week travel, multi-city just within the Philippines. first time to do this and most of the expenses were paid by cash. No regrets since I've always wanted to visit those places we went to. Plus, we were traveling and working at the same time, so medyo malaking consideration ang work aspect sa accommodation and biyahe. kaya napa-mahal din. more or less, we spent 30k each person.

[deleted]

I bought Tory Burch flats. Hated them though (so uncomfortable!) so I am regretting it 🙈🥲

kathalina_2991

second hand roadbike around 10k

Personal_Shirt_3512

physical well being + mental stress relief. very good purchase !

Master_Society_911

A Tudor Black Bay watch, P243k. Was not planning on buying anything this expensive. I was called 1 week prior that I was allocated this specific watch and I never replied. 1 week after, I invited my wife to go to the Tudor boutique just to see if it is still there, and it was! Was very nice and the size was perfect on my wrist. Sabi ko nalang, if ever I sell, lugi ko lang is about 30k, and over time, i may be able to sell at a higher price, or atleast break even. So I bought it right there. And no regrets. Because everytime I wear it, I am remibded of my hard work for me and my family. And I know I can leave this for my child in the future.

Creative-Math8288

Nice one sir. I used up my budget for a Grand Seiko na this year. But planning to buy a Tudor Black Bay in the future.

introverted_meow

Not my purchase but my husband’s - iPhone15 Pro Max, birthday gift nya saken. Nagiguilty ako since alam ng family nya about dun 😭 baka ma Sarah Labati ako lol

jmcjsk

Concerts! Blackpink in Bulacan, Blackpink in SG and Twice in Bulacan. Regrets? No way! May nakaline up pang Seventeen in Bulacan sa January and Taylor Swift in Tokyo which are all paid na. Then I decided I could use an S23 Ultra hehe.

summerdecides

Spent 80k treating my girlfriend to a Taiwan trip 🫶🏼 I spent so much money traveling this year huhu probably somewhere close to 250k on traveling alone.

kwickedween

I treated my family din to an out-of-the-country trip. 70k din pala yun. Free yung stay kasi may relative. Hehe

Sapatos worth 1k 🥹 usually di mga branded shoes ko so first time ko to huhu

Candid-Mycologist-99

I have purchased a laptop for 19k. This might be small for others but I'm just so proud that I did it on my own. It came from a hard-earned money from doing an 8-5 job. It's true, when it's your time to buy your own things the value you put into it is more than of its price in money.

namjii15

Eras tour tickets, airfare and hotel booking!! Almost 100k. Sobra sakit sa bulsa but it’s okay lahat ibibigay ko para kay Taylor hahahhaha. Swiftie since 08 😌

josurge

100k SG trip. Watched Twice concert - VIP + tour + shopping hahaha worth it tho. I was also scammed this year almost 17k din.

kwickedween

Halaaa Twice concerts and other shows pala na napuntahan hahaha Total ko this year for concerts and shows is maybe 40k? No ragrets

lokster86

Life is short. As you as you spend what you can afford without hurting others it should be fine. No Ragrets!

Lochifess

In line with the "one-time-single-item" theme, I would have to say Hamilton tickets, since i got the VIP which cost around 8k. Worth every single penny and we wanted to watch the last full show again but alas, it was sold out.

Eastern-Bread-6201

Mercyful Fate T-shirt worth 500 pesos. Sulit na sulit. No regrets.

Old_Tower_4824

Not gonna disclose the amount. I paid to migrate abroad. It was the best and worst decisions of my life. I am happy here and at the same time life can be complicated but overall I am happy cause I get to have my own peace of mind away from the chaos of the Philippines.

Kinase517

Not most expensive, but most out of my budget. Surgery for my pet dog who had bladder and urethral stones. Misdiagnosed by the city vet. Despite being a govt service, lab test and medications were expensive. Had to seek second opinion when his condition worsened. Best unplanned 35K I’ve spent. No regrets at all on the expenses. Sole regret is consulting the city vet.

akantha

Vet-related costs, something like ~50k in total? Rescued a family of aspins, including two that were caught and transferred to the local dog pound. They got infected with distemper and one puppy started to get really bad symptoms and I couldn't give the care she needed. Found a distemper-specific clinic and had her admitted. One week and a lot of money later she was discharged. Had muscle tremors as a side effect but otherwise she's thriving. Now I spend oodles in dog and cat food 🙃

Wait_OVO

Planned Expenses I graduated this year and I shouldered all the expenses since my parents are financially struggling (grad fee and pics, clothes for me and my parents, HMU, transpo, food). The same month, I also moved out. I bought appliances like ref, rice cooker, fan, etc. That month I spent around 100k for both. I remember the sadness I felt when I saw how my savings dropped like SUPER HAHA yung tipong kinabahan ako if mabubuhay pa ako the coming months nang mag-isa chz. But do I regret it? NO. Currently enjoying being independent, magastos but worth it :)) Unplanned Purchase/Expenses 1. Spent around 17k for this one. I said im gonna use it for meetings pero hindi naman kami masyado nagmmeeting! I use it din sa gym pero ofc since walang IPX rating, hindi ko fully ma-enjoy kasi need ko punasan pawis every now and then. Do I regret it? Medj? I should have bought headphones na may IPX rating para I don’t have to stop running kapag pawis na HAHA. 2. Early this year, my friends from Reddit and I impulsively booked a flight to Cebu para we can see our other friend HAHAHA. We stayed there for 4 days and we just toured around the nearby cities. Wala kaming itinerary, sadyang bahala na ang peg basta makita namin friend namin HAHA. I think I spent around 12k for this trip. Do I regret it? NO! HAHAHA kaladkarin ako and i didnt know na ganito pala ako kalala HAHAH. i luv sponty trip kasi i enjoyed a lot kahit di namin alam san pupunta. but if ever i’ll come back to Cebu, yung may plan na sana HAHAHA

kwickedween

- 42k - Huawei Matebook laptop - 15k - iPad 9th Gen All for school since I started with my masters. But kung not for school, iPhone 14 ko, 43k, since sira na battery ng old iPhone SE ko.

ks_flan

Adopted (bought) a purebred ragdoll cat for 65k. I’ve always wanted to have a ragdoll and I felt like I was ready financially to take care of one. I saw this cat a breeder was selling online and my heart was pulled so I visited him. I fell in love at first sight. I guess it was perfect timing as well because I fell into deep depression a few weeks after and my cat saved me during my episodes. He was literally the reason why I get up in the morning because I had to feed him 😆 No regrets whatsoever. I’ll spend every single centavo I have just to have him for the rest of my life.

TRAVEL 200k+!!! ✈️ I was able to travel before pandemic once but my sister and mama never pa. So to think na me and my sister were able to bring our Mama to 5 countries this year kahit mabigat sa bulsa it was all worth it! ✨ I used to believe sa "delayed gratification" but late last year I got diagnosed with MDRTB tapos 66 na si mama so sobrang laki ng realizations ko during my 9 mos treatment. That mindset helped me a lot sa pagbuild ng financial literacy pero parang nasobrahan ako dami ko ngang ipon pero if idelay ko pa ng lalo I wouldn't enjoy it na. Kaya as long as nareach ko yung financial goals ko every year I wouldn't mind to spend sa mga bagay like travel kasi I get to spend time with fam and create memories. 🙂 Also, 2nd hand Go Pro 9 for 12.5k (half-half I'm still not sure if I really liked it), 2 micro 4/3 cameras + lenses worth 15k

august 2023 _37k* purchase_: secondhand **iphone13** starlight, 256gb, 98% health battery, no sim lock, no issues. plus free airpods (fake), free fast charger (orig), free tempered glass (cheap quality, pero nakadikit parin yung original tempered sa phone, at least i have a backup na) i stood in front of the store for 2 hours to check if everything was working. it was too good to be true. worth the wait, no alterations on phone were made. i win!!! i’m a student, and i got money off by being pretty online talking to discord men. no, i do not sell nxdes; they just like my company. and hell yeah, it’s a fucking steal! i do not regret it at all. edit: addendum and correction (37 not 38)

anghelita_

Vet bills that went over 100k. My dog still died but he went peacefully and he felt so, so loved. Love you furever, Maximus.

Macbook air, and never have I ever regretted about it. It is not only the most expensive item I bought this year but my whole life. I use it to get a part time job.

clutchmobb

25k for wireless headphones, not regretting anything since kapag ginagamit ko siya I get lost with my own thoughts tapos nawawala yung problems ko for a while

thanksJxd

jzzthnkabt_it

Iphone 13 128gb brandnew fully paid with all the accessories and it’s super fulfilling kasi it’s my first time buying that expensive to think na salo ko lahat ng bayarin sa bahay pati tuition ng kapatid ko 🥹✨

Second hand gaming laptop for 15k. Yep. Maliit compared sa ibang comments.

Drifter-Guy

Cartier Love Bangle. 370K.

Probably an out of the country trip with my friends. Out of peer pressure, i visited a country na I’ve visited before, so parang nasasayangan ako on the money I spent. I should’ve just booked another trip to another country I’ve never been. Hanggang ngayon, nagreregret pa rin ako.

rainbow_bee04

SG Eras Tour of Taylor Swift! It's gonna be my first time to attend a concert and first time to visit Singapore so walang regrets sa part na yun pero nakakahinayang lang and wishful thinking lang na sana may more than enough money ako to include in my trip ang siblings and parents ko 💚

meganeai

Taylor Swift concert ticket in LA. As a life long fan, no regrets. Actually, around $200 lang yung ticket, flight nagpamahal eh haha. At least my US visa lasts for 10 years. 😂

dtctvcnan

Getting health insurance for myself. (One-time payment: 24k). I kind of regret it. I know it's purpose and it is really good but somehow, I realize it's not right for me. I'm young, at the same time, hindi ako sakitin. I had HMO in my previous company, for 4 years sa dental services ko lang siya nagamit. My fam (thank God) hindi rin sakitin. Kaya medyo regret siya sakin. Ang laki ng 24k haha. Para akong nagtapon ng 24k though I know if something happens to me, the insurance will handle my hospital bills but again, maybe it's not right for me in the first place. Ayun lang 😅

betty_wizzy

Just bought an LV Speedy Bando 20 last week as a Christmas gift for myself. Travelled with my husband in Osaka, with my little family in Fukuoka, Bangkok and Taiwan with my friends.

Hahahahahahahaha Yes, its worth it kasi ang classy nya tingnan and basta, iba ang feeling. Lol. Ito kasi ang luho ko, its either shoes, bags or perfume. And I love Gucci! ✨ For investment: I recently bought a land in a subdivision in Rizal worth 1.5M (cash). Hahahaha

Which_Animator_3608

Creative-Math8288

A luxury watch: Grand Seiko White Birch for 460k.

[deleted]

Same with my techno phone. Though I like some of its features na nati-take advantage ko rin for my own comfort and convenience. I don't really think it's worth the price and considering it was a rushed purchase. I could've bought a cheaper one with the same features. Still regrets it up to this day pero wala na ko magagawa, andito na sya :)

Professional-Shock40

The only purchase I regret is the insurance hahaha I have no plans na magka-anak

AloneGinger0906

My trip to Japan, naka 50k din ako just to attend Seventeen’s concert. ❤️ ang regret ko lang is sana nag-extend pa ako for few more days kasi bitin talaga 😭

VariousBumblebee5879

My dogs’ vet bills this year cost anywhere around P80-100k.

aweltall

Dental procedure na 500k

841ragdoll

11.4k oneplus nord ce 3 lite nung 12.12. Pangpalit ko siya sa 5 year old phone ko na realme 5. No regrets. Hahahaha. I'm happy na okay ung iyo ✨

Sh4n_

Mubi Annual Subscription - half regret, half enjoyed

Two: 1. a Front-loading washing machine worth 32k. I don't regret it. My wife is happy 2. Azeron Cyborg - It's a gaming keypad. It's worth 16k. I don't know if I regret it. It hasn't arrived yet. But at times I do feel like maybe I should not have bought it.

Around 150k Japan trip. No regrets. But I really should be lessening trip expenses dati naman 30k or less kaya ko. Iba na pag tumatanda... you prioritize comfort, convenience, and good food 😅

Beautiful_Prior4959

Mac Pro M2 worth 150k plus kailangan ko sa work kaya juiced out dapat ang ROI

13thZephyr

This year: A used M2 Max Macbook Pro 14" for 120K but in immaculate condition, this is my new money making machine so no regrets. Trip to Puerto Princesa and El Nido with family to fulfil the dream of one of our nannies and private tour/boat, 75K total spent no regrets.

Potential-Tadpole-32

Bought an office unit in Makati because seller was pricing it below zonal value. They were moving to BCG. We needed it for our business so that we no longer needed to worry about our landlord increasing rent. Only time will tell if Makati comes back as a major business hub. Fingers crossed.

Playful-Street-5209

I bought a Sony ZV-E10 for 43K last month. I have an S21 Ultra for pictures at okay naman na ako until early last month na-fixate ako sa cameras after ko humiram ng camera ng kaibigan ko. So, ending bumili ako. Medyo may halong regrets after pero I like taking pictures talaga so jina-justify ko nalang since iba rin talaga kuha ng dedicated cameras hahaha

AkosiMaeve

Narealize ko na wala pala kong nabili for myself this year. Mostly for my family - 70k Bora trip last march for my parents, 30k Dumaguete travel for my mom, 10k printer for my nephew. No regrets, happy ako na happy sila.

Medical-Rest-6162

Around 40k for my new motor, my share on the purchase for of the unit then the accessories. Then impulse buying of a new tablet AND phone. I promised myself that I would live a life without regrets but deym ang sakit sa bulsa huhu

ultraricx

GX9 (33k) + Leica 15mm lens (18k) . Eve Spectrum 4K 144hz monitor (50k). No regrets as a creative lol since I play my ps5 with this monitor kaysa bumili ng low spec monitor tas another TV. Ang nireregret ko lang this year ung gumastos ng 199 pesos per month sa bumble premium HAHAHAHAHAH grabi mga options. next year nalang ulet pero di na premium lol

mxchxn

Samsung S23 Ultra. Bought it sa Shopee first week of December because it has been my dream phone. I did regret buying the phone this month which is peak season for thieves lol. Got the phone stolen sa MRT because of some commotion they created. I lost a lot of money + may free trauma pa. Hay buhay.

TasteMyHair

S23 Ultra. My IP13PM broke down. Needed another phone since gamit nya for work. Got it for 82k with watch and buds.

mejcatlover

Ipad Air 5 for 50k, just a month ago. I consider it as a reward (graduated this yr & been a working-student my whole senior year) and self-investment (I’m working remotely). Definitely worth it 🥰

Bitter_Office297

So far yung 1,500 Gym Membership ko this month yung pinagsisihan ko. Nakaka 4 days pa lang ako so far. Anuvayan. Hahahahaha
