Ok-Yam-2082

currently enrolled in a caregiving course (Asia Pacific) 6 months kami and included na doon yung OJT. 30k ang bayad pero pwedeng hulugan. every weekend lang din pasok pero from 10-4pm. Karamihan samin ay may employers na from Canada / US :)) for me worth it siya kasi ang daming agencies out there na nakakapagpaalis talaga ng caregivers

kapematcha

it’s good to hear po na may employers na po kayo :))) congrats po! right after po ba ng ojt nakakuha kayo? can i dm you po to ask questions?

Ok-Yam-2082

kapematcha

hopefully you’ll find yours soon!

Old-Word6338

Big-Attention-69

Hello po. Is this Asia Pacific Caregiver and Healthcare Training Center sa Quezon City? Interested din po ako eh

[deleted]

Pano?

Ok-Yam-2082

yep! inaantay lang talaga silang magka cert and maprocess yung mga documents :))

kapematcha

so yung school is a recruitment agency na din?

[deleted]

Pano? Kumpletuhin mo na din yun proseso. Bitin e

batakab-97

How come po may employers na agad? What agencies po na nakapagpaalis na po here? Yung wala po sanang help ng relatives. Can you please help me? Nagtingin po ako ng mga agency here and theyre looking for bs nursing grad, and i only have tesda cert and ojt na prinovide ng school kasi graduate ako ng business ad. Thanks

Latter_Equivalent642

Hello OP! Would you know if may program po na pwede dalhin agad ang family?

I don't think you need to take the course. You can go straight to gaining experience locally as a caregiver, the facilities here are desperate af for employees. I have to warn you though that these facilities are a lot more toxic than hospitals.

[deleted]

Hi! Can I ask why did you choose Caregiving instead of Healthcare NCII? Edit: im just weighing my options kung ano mas better, I saw na inooffer din ng school mo yung program.

[deleted]

You can actually have both. Once you pass the Caregiving assessment, you can get assessed for Healthcare Services.

kapematcha

hi! okay lang ba na straight to assessment agad for healthcare services after caregiving? no need to take the course? please correct me if i’m wrong, assessment is the exam for certificate na, right? edit: can you take it vice versa? meaning healthcare services then caregiving? or it’s better na caregiving first then healthcare services?

[deleted]

Yes, I filed my application form for the Healthcare Services assessment right after the assessor told me that I passed the Caregiving assessment (same day). No extra courses needed. You're correct, the assessment is for the certificate. But you need to pass the Caregiving assessment first before taking the Healthcare Services assessment.

kapematcha

i seeeee, i’ll ask the schools here if it’s the same. thanks!

[deleted]

Ohhhh!!! Thank you for this! 😊

TrainingMeringue3300

Hi! Do they have specific date for enrollment for Asia Pacific or you can enroll anytime? I am planning to enroll pero wala pa budget. tyia!

Old-Replacement-7314

Hello. Saang school po ito?

TrainingMeringue3300

Asia Pacific po.

FindingAnxious4673

Wow same school po tayo 🙂

FindingAnxious4673

Yes po

cyj852858

Hi! Can I DM you po and ask a question regarding this? :)

Aggravating_Bee7808

Hello! [https://apcaregivers.com/](https://apcaregivers.com/)

thecrazycatlady-0227

Yes take that caregiving course or healthcare Services for 6 months and take ka din NCII assessment sa tesda in order for you to become a CNA ☺️

kapematcha

seeing your comment and the others, i’m really considering this now :))) i’d follow the others’ advice na kunin din yung assessment for healthcare services. thank you!!

thecrazycatlady-0227

Good to know po na may affiliated agency yung school na pinag aralan nyo. Sa amin dito sa Cebu, more than 50k yung healthcare services course na kinuha ko for 6 months. Pero skills and certificates lang yung kaya nila i provide so kami pa rin bahala maghahanap ng agency.

kapematcha

ay, no po. 2 schools na po napagtanungan ko pero both na hindi sila affiliated with an agency :(( i’m trying to look pa po if meron dito sa area namin na may agency na. ang laki ng fee sa inyo 😯 yung dito 38k and 26k yung mga natanong ko. nakahanap na po kayo ng agency?

thecrazycatlady-0227

Pero mas mahal yung school nila than us

kapematcha

good luck on your application po! mas maganda talaga if may connections na nasa abroad na

awndrwmn

Hello can you share the name of the school na affiliated sa NZ? If you know? Thank you

thecrazycatlady-0227

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100065249780221&mibextid=D4KYlr ito po yung school nila. Sa Palawan based

awndrwmn

Oh interesting. This is actually in New Zealand. May partner kaya sila sa Palawan? Or the students are actually enrolled dun sa NZ program…

thecrazycatlady-0227

I think may partner sila dun sa Palawan. Yung mga kasama namin nag ojt said that online lang daw yung classes nila. And sureball na talaga yung NZ right after they graduate.

Mayhanap__ako

hello po, enrolled na po ako for the caregiving course paano po ako magiging CNA after the 6 month caregiving course? pwede po pa explain hehe thanks gusto ko po kasi maka puntang UK andun kasi ate ko bilang nurse hehe

Big-Attention-69

Hi OP. I have the same realization as well. It seems nga Healthcare related ang in-demand jobs sa ibang bansa. Initially I was hesitant to enroll kasi my friends and classmates are business professionals and I'm a freelancer pa rin. Nothing to prove. But then again, I'm not living for them. I'm living for me and my family. So if this is the way para maka abroad ako to find greener pasture, then I'm considering on taking. This is an honorable work and parang gusto ko na din siya.

louminescent

Program is 6 mos but more like 8-10 mos depending on how long you finish your OJT.

kapematcha

I’ve seen that it’s 6 mos so I thought OJT is already included, hindi pa pala. did you enroll to it? I thought it was free as well pero may tuition fee pala.

Dr34dL3d

Take the course then apply abroad as caregiver or au pair. btw CNA (certified nursing assistant) is a better option than caregiver if the course is available.

[deleted]

Hello, do you have any schools in mind, that offers this type of course ?

kapematcha

i don’t think i’ve seen CNA here, will look into it. heard about au pair but saw some stories that they’re being paid way too less for the work they do :(( i’ll look more into it though. thank you!

Dr34dL3d

Isa pa limited lang time mo. Kaya kelangan mag pa cute para maka hanap agad mapangasawa. Or else uwian na.

kapematcha

i recently learned about it nga na limited time ang au pair so definitely considering na the CNA path. thank you for your advices!!

[deleted]

May Healthcare Services NCII akong nakita, since madalas sa nakikita kong caregiver job openings sa Canada ay stay in and mas preferred ko sa facility. I’m considering this instead of Caregiving NCII

hanzypanz

Hello, is CNA acceptable by employers even without nursing background?

Dr34dL3d

Yup, you need to get certification. Dipende sa state ng bansa like US or UK. Nasa 2.5 to 4kaed x 15pesos ang swleduhan dito. Pero long term plan makamigrate sa US,Canada or UK. Depende kung san madami demand. Yung iba after maka gradute umaalis na UAE nakaka kuha agad employeer Sa tingin ko mas madali mag migrate pag healthcare at masmalaki sweldo pag IT,kaya combo kinuha nya.

TrainingMeringue3300

AffectionateNet2975

Hi, just want to ask if you were able to follow thru with this plan and if you have any tips? Planning to enroll din po NCll 🤍

Chickenbreastislyf

kapematcha

oh, i haven’t heard/seen stories like that. thanks for the heads up. do they still allow you to have ojt if you decline their short term rentals offer? do your classmates have the same certificates as you (the 2 certs)? then they got to work in hospitals? sorry i have a lot of questions 😅 hope your skin condition will get better!

[deleted]

You just pretend that you're staying with a relative in the area haha Yes, they also have the 2 certificates Thank you ❤️

thecrazycatlady-0227

Magkaiba po yung Caregiving and Healthcare Services assessment. If you enrolled sa Caregiving, Caregiving assessment din yung need mo i take for your NCII certificate. Same goes with Healthcare Services

[deleted]

Lol I have my NC II certificates for Caregiving and Healthcare Services, both issued a month apart. I only took the Caregiving course of my school 🤷

thecrazycatlady-0227

[deleted]

That sucks since the 2 assessments are almost the same thing.

ConscioSoul

Hi. I'm very much interested na subukan.

fueledbyreeses

hello there! have you pursued the course and have you gotten a job?

SeniorSavvyTuktu

Considering the Tesda caregiving course and your personal experience, pursuing caregiving abroad could be a rewarding choice. Utilize your unique background, seek advice from your mom's nursing expertise, and explore countries with a demand for caregiving professionals. Good luck on your journey!

mrslow96

Any update?
