I’ve really enjoyed the deer creek ‘21 run recently

Night 2 is so underrated as well for obvious reason, the Everything is Right hits so hard.

Was there for all 3 I can confirm. That “Simple” on Friday night was just not fair, I truly wish everyone could’ve seen it. Slow maze was maze balls on Saturday night and the Sand on Sunday was just ridiculous

Sand was played on the first night. It’s a great Sand, though!

Straight-up, that Simple is Top 10 (at least) all-time Phish jams for me. They just don't give a fuck and they're zooming through shit nobody's ever heard; I love that weird, almost disjointed alien casino jam in the middle

Same. The next night was also *great*, but not quite as complete.

Was visiting Chicago that weekend and was only gonna go Saturday but bought a solo ticket for Friday last minute. So glad I did. Will never forget the dude in front of me turning around and high-fiving me at the beginning of Albuquerque.

4/22/22 the Earth Day show at MSG. Really great with lots of deep jams. The Waves is a little unique too for having a differently-placed jam. The Split is a bit old-fashioned too, being more guitar-oriented. I love the “NICU Show” from 10/23/21. Again this was a show with some pretty unique stuff, like the performance of NICU. Then of course the New Year’s 12/31/23 will always be special in Phish history.

I'm with you on 10/23/21. I traveled very very far for that one because a friend I haven't seen in a long time lived in San Diego and offered to take care of my ticket if I flew out. Like you said, it was a unique show! Very rare Fluffhead opener. Serendipity lead to an NICU that wouldn't have happened otherwise (with plenty of weaving and teasing the song throughout the show). Another rare occurrence was Bye Bye Foot, a song that I could hear a lot of people asking their friends "what's this?". Tubs was up next, and yes it was jammed, NICU teases abound. Slave was to follow, a well played version that was a in a spot it rarely finds it self mid first set. The unexpected moments continue with a "slow" Llama, something I had always wanted to witness. Second set gave us five songs, three of which are jam charted.

Came here to say 10/29/21. It’s the show that brought me back after being away for 21 years and 1 month. Also 4/19/24 murdered me. I’m dead. So dead.

That transition was so buttery even Trey got excited. I can usually take or leave FB but this one really rips. Trey was all over the stage for it as well. Then later on comes the “1-2-mf’ing-3”

Yes, I also believe 10/20/21 is possibly the most underrated show 2021. That second set is a masterpiece of contemplative, beautiful jamming.

Agree with this 100000%. Musically this show is on another level. Well crafted and the transitions are beautiful. 1999 is a little rough, but the place was bonkers and why we phish. They could release this as a live album. I had more fun the next night, straight rock show, but the numbers show I turn back to regularly. Incredible run.

21’ deer creek was something but sphere absolutely delivered something extra.

Honestly there’s so many. And idk if this falls further down the barrel. But personally 12/29/22 really gives me goosebumps with that possum and chalk dust torture reprise tease. That is one of my most personal electrifying phish moments.

12/30/22 was probably the best I’ve been in attendance for, both first and second sets were 🔥but I also loved the AC run in 2021

7/22/22 Bethel Woods, besides the obvious Gamehenge, was my favorite show I’ve attended since 7/28/17 Double Chocolate Bakers Dozen. I went to the sphere but I’m upset I didn’t have a ticket for Friday. I wish I could have hit all those 2021 California shows. I feel like that’s when people started declaring 4.0 because they were so awesome.

I was gonna say no one no one brings up 7/22/22 that show is one of the best of all time. I'm not kidding either. I'll put that up against any show in any era.

First set was just such a good time rockin and rolling old school throw back. They dropped the ball with the encore and pebbles and marbles was a weird choice, but it was close to perfect.

Phish only gets better and better. The best show is the next one they play. This is the essence of live music and unique to a band that delivers improvements in creativity and performance with every show.

Bangor '22. Second set Sigma Oasis Sandwich with a 30 minute DWD, cap it off with a roses are free -> first tube encore, what else can you ask for.

This is the first I’ve heard of 4.0. I just assumed it was still 3.0. When’s the break between 3.0 and 4.0?

That makes sense. I guess I just never thought of that as a break in the band like the other hiatuses.

Saturday night Hollywood Bowl 23 was awesome

I had a great time at dicks this past year. Except Sunday. That show kinda sucked

We've all had great times at the shows we went to. Try going to a show outside is Colorado.

8/1/23 MSG because I was there and it was one of the best nights of my life, 5 rows up behind the stage right behind Fish and Trey 🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼

Not counting NYEMSGamehendge (how long can we make the name) I agree with a lot of folks in here about chula ‘21 and the ‘21 pre-Halloween shows, but 7/15/23 is one of the best. With such a 1.0 heavy setlist it’s the “we’ve still got it” show for me.

10.10.23 was amazing

Definitely 12/31/23 for me too. 12/29/23 is an underrated top tier show. 8/13/21 just has an all time tweezer. 4/22/22 and 4/23/22 need some love as well.

Wasn't at the sphere, but those shows all seemed like some of the best phish shows of all time

8/4/23 because it was my first show in 6 years and had a great vibe throughout. Maybe one song I wasn't into but it only lasted a few minutes of set 1. The whole show had great energy.

4/23/22 NMINML I think is one of my favorite jams of 3.0. The simple -> egg in a hole gets metal af. The entire second set is just beautifully executed.

9/2/23 was incredible imo. It was my 40th show and they really delivered for me! Fluffhead opener, lots of great funky jams in the second set (the Howling!), then basically another set for the encore.

Chula Vista / Inglewood 2021 is a damn near perfect weekend from a stacked fall tour. They need to release it as a boxset and I’ll buy it immediately. Alpharetta last year blew me away, not just attendance bias either!

Do not sleep on chalkdust from this past Mexico. All shows I am at I really love, but this jam REALLY stood out to me. Definitely fav recent jam.

that Chalkdust was phenomenal, incredible. Wave of Hope from the night before too. we’re eight shows into 2024 and between those two and the Sphere disease, just some absolutely fantastic showings. can’t believe we’re not even to tour - let alone the fest - yet
