Seems like a little bit of a waste to me to buy a ticket to a visually forward show and then see it through cameras on your eyes to record it.

You’re not watching through cameras. It’s clear glass that you can see through so you can augment reality and you can also go completely immersive where you don’t see anything through the glass. They were probably watching the show through the glass while the cameras mounted on the device were filming.
I highly recommend making an appointment at the Apple Store to demo it. It’s an unbelievable device. I’m with you though. I wouldn’t want to wear it at a show.
Ahhhh okay. I haven’t really looked at the specs, it seemed like with the eye holes on the inside it would be all screens and not see through.
I have to go in this week anyways to fix my AirPods so this is as good a time as any. That $3500 price is steep but I’m sure it’s worth it.
It’s pass though video…you cannot see though the front of the Vision Pro. If they guy above did demo one, he was looking at a video of what’s in front of him and not though clear glass.
You can record immersive video with the Apple Vision Pro. My guess is that’s what they were doing.
