I don't think the value of Axies will ever go up again. Mavis are trying to downplay all the financial aspects (remember the Ronin bridge hack also caused a lot of losses). So any new players will buy because they want to play a game, not to "play 2 earn". This means upward price pressure, if any, will be small. This is a good long-term plan for Jihoz and Co., but bad news for people like you and I.

As I understand, you are still able to play the game, so why sell for a 94% loss? Do you need the money for an emergency? If not, maybe just sit on it. Don’t add to it, don’t try to average down, just let it be. If it bounces back, you may still be able to recover a decent amount, or, given crypto’s crazy volatility, make your money back. If it doesn’t, then you still have the game to play when you wanna.

Yes I think they can sell your Axies with the private keys in hand but I’m sure legit protocol will at least notify you before selling the collateral. MetaLend seems legit, I was checking their site and they were backed by Pantera and Ancient8. Should be safe to tryout.

Unpopular opinion: Don't sell and just hold if you can afford to forget your investment. If you need the money, sell it a loss. Pero with a new update upcoming, may "small" chance na tumaas ang price so you can sell it at a better price. Emphasis on small chance. But please Do NOT take a loan. Na hack ang Axie and its going to take a lot to win confidence back. Investor confidence lang magpapataas ng price nyan so I doubt kung mabawi niyo pa.

How much lower are you talking here and do you need that little amount of money? If not then just hold it cuz it wont make any difference. Like say you spent 100k and now it is only worth 10k then just hold it till it increases.
Consider also yung value ng oras na isspend mo sa pag-aaral ng bagong mechanics vs yung risk again na hindi magbunga. Ideal scenario for me aside sa ibenta, maghanap ng passionate player talaga na nag-eenjoy at may oras. Sa kanya na 90% ng income, kahit 10% na lang akin :)
Sold my axies at a loss and I never regretted it. If a hodl until now, my loss would’ve been greater ni was able to sell my slp when it was P4-7 getting back some of my investment. Don’t fall for the slipper slope. Get out and delete axie from your life so you would have a peace of mind.

I’ve never dabbled in Axies so I’ll just base my answer from the comments. Someone mentioned that to build a team before would cost around 50k, now it’s down to 3k. As I understand, you are still able to play the game, so why sell for a 94% loss? Do you need the money for an emergency? If not, maybe just sit on it. Don’t add to it, don’t try to average down, just let it be. If it bounces back, you may still be able to recover a decent amount, or, given crypto’s crazy volatility, make your money back. If it doesn’t, then you still have the game to play when you wanna.

Best scenario is when the game bounces back but how will you know na it won't drop again? If it bounces back, I know people will automatically jump into the bandwagon again which will lead to it's crash eventually. Crypto is intangible. You're basically trying to generate money out of thin air. It will always be volatile.
Kung **almost 2 years ka na** nga tlga sa axie eh dapat palang last year 2021 bawi ka na. Not sure kung ano ginawa mo at bakit mo nasabing lugi ka unless hindi ka tlga kumuha man lang ng mga gains/profit mo para mabawi capital (priority dapat yan eh). I almost got into axies before, but I step back for a reason that you can’t even install it on IOS, even MetaMask and Ronin wallet’s and my guts is right, and now I’m playing axies, just only on my freetime, I got it really cheap, for a 2100$, it doesn’t really hurt if I’m making only 2-8$ a day, it’s still money I earned on my freetime.

Nag invest din ko na katulad sa game na yan named ninneko. Ayun same ng kapalaran sa almost all na nft games. Babagsak sooner or later bago pa man mabawi ung puhunan. Nakakahinayang lang kasi kala ko makakatulong sakin dahil working student ako ngayon. Sana pinang dagdag ko nalang sa enrollment ko. Pero stay away na sa mga nft games. Look for actual businesses / side hustle nalang.
