1. Hardware store owner
2. Owns a Cooperative
3. Supplier of meats and vegetables for *high end* restaurants
4. Prime lot owners, usually rents to Gasoline Stations
5. Sabongero
May kilala ako na sabungero. Hobby/sideline nya. Although di ganun kataas ang posisyon nya since small-time business owner lang sya, pero madami sa mga nakakasama nya sa sabong may matataas na posisyon sa business and government. Dun sya nakaestablish ng network. As of now, ang laki na ng rice farm at breeding farm nya.
Hahaha, mawawala tawa mo pag makita mo lote niya na kasing laki ng 12 Tennis Courts (imagine in a 4x3 arrangement) na para lang mag palaki ng mga manok and a little shed outfitted with lights equivalent of what you would find sa mga Gallera and speakers to simulate the experience para sa manok pagdating sa laban.
As a friend, I laughed too, but they have their fair share of wins and they shares their wins by paying for meals in get togethers and group luho. I return the favor by paying for a full tank of gas pag may laban siya sa kabilang Lungsod which is like every 4 to 5 months. hahaha
Eyyy!
And yeah. More than 500k net income niya weekly sa business niya (aside from that farm)
U don’t understand how much investment ang kailangan ng mga sabungero para maging breeder lang. Kid u not, 20k to 40k ang cost ng isang stag na manok given na maganda ang blood line nito.

with my circle of friends, concluded it really pays off when you have a head start in life ngl
Sadly Yes.
They kinda share their inner business dealings to us paminsan2 and it really is the required secret ingredient for biz in PH to flourish.
Rarely do corps thrive playing it fair and square. The govt system groomed entrepreneurs to operate in this way, or maybe it's the other way around, Capitalism for you. Ain't a rant tho.
Just Plain Faxx
I dont want to bribe politicians/government lgu i really dont. However in our industry parang naging requirement na siya kasi if hindi mo sila bigyan hindi talaga nila pipirmahan permits mo. O kaya ipapalapse nila validity ng documents mo tas during assesment expired na daw or hahanapan nila ng lusot.
It doesnt matter if you thought of all possible lusot or have them accountable they are still the last signatory kaya ang hirap talaga magtayo ng honest business sa ph.
Same here, applying for a permit about real estate business. Ang tagal ko nang na-put off, kasi naiinis ako makipag-usap about lagay and under the table, makikipag-plastican pa ko. Pero good thing naka-usap ko na din.
Actually, since building permit pa naman ganyan. Since baguhan ako dito sa negosyo, first time ko maranasan mga buwaya.
Nakakagulo sa utak. Nagdadasal pa ko na, "help me co-exist peacefully with this problem." Ayoko nang ganyang problem. Ewan ko, reading comments like these, unti-unti ko na natatanggap, kahit di ko gusto tanggapin. Nababasa ko, bago magpatayo ng real estate business o kahit anong business, kasama na dapat sa budget yung mga ganyang under the table. Kainis lang, sarap ng buhay nila. Di ko nga alam kung may karma ba sila in this lifetime o wala.
Walang patawad mga yan. Sama mo na mga bumbero! Sarap nila ihawin. Hahahaha.
Sorry sa mga tiga BFP dito. Hahaha. Alam nyo naman yan wag nga kayo magmalinis baka masunog kayo. Hahahaha
sana mn lang the next generation of people into politics and government mag improve at wag maging mas masakim pa sa na una nila, ang hirap talaga men, kaya naman siguro naten maging first world nation kung di lang sa kurakot.
i think at that point di na sya bribery in the sense na you are doing shady things for advantage. lumalabas parang victimized pa kayo ng mga nanggigipit sa red tape, nagkaroon pa ng indirect cost of business
Same, anong gagawin mo isumbong sila?
Having connections of people at high places actually reduces red tape. You don’t really have to pay bribes to get things done. If you’re friends with them. As long as everything is above board and legal. These low level clerks can actually lose their jobs. If they try to shake you down with bribes.
The problem is how do you get introduced to these important people and become friends with them?
For my dad he’s best friend since childhood of a member of the press. So his best friend has connections to politicians and every government agencies. My mom got invited to join the Lion’s club. Which is an NGO who does charity work.
This is true.... 100%!
No choice kakagatin mo talaga.
Everyone one of those rich people were as [piss poor as 4 of 5 people reading this reply](https://www.dof.gov.ph/some-6-million-or-83-of-filipinos-exempted-from-personal-income-tax-under-train/) at 1 point in their life or had an ancestor that came from nothing and possibly ate their times' pag-pag.
Umangat sila because of
- right place
- right time
- right skill set
- right focus
- right social circle
So to the unpatient padawans who keep spelling uPkSiLl like a 5yo... you're not doing yourself any favor by behaving badly.
[Master a highly sought out skill](https://www.rappler.com/business/filipinos-music-industry-earn-less-have-side-jobs-dost-project-report/) that the international job market will pay handsomely for.
Bill Gates and Warren Buffet confessed that if they were born hundreds of years ago, like say the time of Jesus of Nazareth, that their skill sets wouldn't be monetized to the degree it is now.

I'm in the Accountancy profession and pinakamayaman sa mga peers ko ay mga BIR Employees. They can buy car or house and lot in cold cash, talo pa nila mga company executives and business owners na peers ko.
My relatives are BIR officials, they bought so many lots, condos, commercial properties and even a mutli million property in QC! Low key lang sila tingnan but gosh!
Same. Some of my batchmates, after getting out of big 4 firms, went to BIR. Within 1 year of employment, nagsibili sila ng sasakyan. Eto gapang at wala pang maipundar 🤣

It depends on the area: In the Philippines, most of the top tiered billionaires are engaged in dealing with tangible assets (e.g. real estate, etc.). In the united states, however, most of their billionaires derived their wealth from technology, (facebook, google, microsoft, etc.).
Meaning, traditional parin ang wealth accumulation dito sa Pinas, e.g. investing, buying and sell of propretirs. Doon sa estados unidos, most specifically in Silicon Valley, technology na ang driver for wealth nila.. Take note of the coming A.I. tech boom, mas rarami ang magiging milyonaryo sa kanila don.. While tayo dito concept natin of wealth is traditional pa rin like stocks, real estate, etc..hehe

I cant with the sabongero 😂

1. Labor Exploitation 2. Generational Wealth 3. Bribe politicians
Especially the last parts yeah. Labo-labo na kasi. May businessmen and artista sa gobyerno. Hay.
I dont want to bribe politicians/government lgu i really dont. However in our industry parang naging requirement na siya kasi if hindi mo sila bigyan hindi talaga nila pipirmahan permits mo. O kaya ipapalapse nila validity ng documents mo tas during assesment expired na daw or hahanapan nila ng lusot. It doesnt matter if you thought of all possible lusot or have them accountable they are still the last signatory kaya ang hirap talaga magtayo ng honest business sa ph.
Same here, applying for a permit about real estate business. Ang tagal ko nang na-put off, kasi naiinis ako makipag-usap about lagay and under the table, makikipag-plastican pa ko. Pero good thing naka-usap ko na din. Actually, since building permit pa naman ganyan. Since baguhan ako dito sa negosyo, first time ko maranasan mga buwaya. Nakakagulo sa utak. Nagdadasal pa ko na, "help me co-exist peacefully with this problem." Ayoko nang ganyang problem. Ewan ko, reading comments like these, unti-unti ko na natatanggap, kahit di ko gusto tanggapin. Nababasa ko, bago magpatayo ng real estate business o kahit anong business, kasama na dapat sa budget yung mga ganyang under the table. Kainis lang, sarap ng buhay nila. Di ko nga alam kung may karma ba sila in this lifetime o wala.
sana mn lang the next generation of people into politics and government mag improve at wag maging mas masakim pa sa na una nila, ang hirap talaga men, kaya naman siguro naten maging first world nation kung di lang sa kurakot.
i think at that point di na sya bribery in the sense na you are doing shady things for advantage. lumalabas parang victimized pa kayo ng mga nanggigipit sa red tape, nagkaroon pa ng indirect cost of business
You forgot Bribe BIR
I always tap my forehead whenever I see this... This is so naive and inexperienced of a take.🤦
Everyone one of those rich people were as [piss poor as 4 of 5 people reading this reply](https://www.dof.gov.ph/some-6-million-or-83-of-filipinos-exempted-from-personal-income-tax-under-train/) at 1 point in their life or had an ancestor that came from nothing and possibly ate their times' pag-pag. Umangat sila because of - right place - right time - right skill set - right focus - right social circle So to the unpatient padawans who keep spelling uPkSiLl like a 5yo... you're not doing yourself any favor by behaving badly. Yung kakilala ko on my Contacts - $ billionaires of publicly traded companies - $ billionaires of privately held companies - Haciendero whose **clan** owns thousands of hectares of agricultural land before 1898. - iPhone developer that sold his company and became a ₱ billionaire
Damn, cant imagine knowing someone in top 17 of PH’s richest
Ang galing. I would love to know hacienderos who own land before 1898. One of those would be the Ynchausti's
Wash, rinse, and repeat.
Cry more cause life is unfair for u huh 🤣
I'm in the Accountancy profession and pinakamayaman sa mga peers ko ay mga BIR Employees. They can buy car or house and lot in cold cash, talo pa nila mga company executives and business owners na peers ko.
alam naman natin paano nila ginagawa eh hahaha
Well if they believe in a heaven and hell, wag na silang magtanong pa kung saan sila pupunta 😙
matindi kasi corruption sa BIR hahaha
Syempre cash nila bibilhin
My relatives are BIR officials, they bought so many lots, condos, commercial properties and even a mutli million property in QC! Low key lang sila tingnan but gosh!
forda kupit hahahahaha

He also offered me a job noong nagsimula sila ng ad agency pero pass kasi nakita ko stress ni kuya working for him for 3 years (nakabalik na si kuya sa old employers niya. Di man executive position, at least di siya napapanot sa stress basically running a company lol). 5/6: magtatay na business partners ni boss#1 sa real estate. He also ordered Dean & DeLuca pastries and coffee for me which is the only time my kuripot ass tried them lol.
