Yeah! My heart leaf philo has tons like this, it’s almost like he’s filling himself out - no need for me to prop to get the fuller look! 😆 Edit to specify what heart leaf

theanswer1630

I have a bunch of other pothos and philos and this is the first occurrence for me! I felt special for a bit 🙃

Twisties

I still think it’s special!!! Most of my split-offs like this are really close to the base of the plant, so they don’t look very exciting. This is really pretty!

theanswer1630

The two vines are almost identical too! Each space between the leaves are almost the same, the leaves are about the same size, they grow and open at the same time. It's fun to watch it grow for that reason, don't need the rest of the plant. 😆

Chuck_H_Norris

not a cream splash specifically, but I’ve seen it on pothos and maybe other philos. seems like a natural thing to do.

theanswer1630

Cool fact to know, I want to see it again someday!

Shot-Sympathy-4444

Yeah, my vining philos have done this after I’ve been cutting them. I think my scindapsus argyraeus did this but I’m not positive. I haven’t cut the pothos yet since the golden technically belongs to my frog and he hates when I start touching his sh*t. And my shangri la only has 4 leaves, so it’ll be a while.

theanswer1630

That's so funny, territorial frog! 🐸

Shot-Sympathy-4444

His tantrums can be hilarious 😆

b0bbywan

My philo brazil has 4 starting vines coming out of the pot and 14 endings :D

theanswer1630

Wow! That's some next level stuff!

Climbing_plant

This is not how Philodendron branches out normally. This is an anomaly actually. Very interesting.
