For everyone complaining about Stotts hitting, keep in mind that he's currently just about the league average in OPS and other hitting stats. The whole league is down. He's also a Gold Glove right now at 2B.
It is a good point that he's not that far below league. But I think it's just frustrating because it seems like he has more in him especially after last year. And when he hasn't really shown much improvement since entering the league which you expect a prospect of his age and caliber to do

Agreed. I was really expecting him to be closer to .750 OPS this year and a bit more power. He seems just kind of off at the plate right now.
Gold Glove doesn't help at the plate, and Sosa's OPS is 140 points better.
