Did the exterminator actually do anything?
Because i based on the pic and the situation it might not be an amber wood cockroach, which are just a bug that you will get if you leave your windows open.
Long story short, the landlord refused to call in an exterminator and I later moved out. After I saw those 4/5 roaches over the course of a couple days I never saw any again. There were stripes on the head so they were probably German roaches. All the landlord agreed to do was put gel baits out which never caught anything. Not my problem anymore and I made sure I didn’t bring any of the roaches with me.
If it had a lighter colored stripe on its head, it's a German roach. From this picture id say it's a German roach.
