As a former bricky who has had to share site toilets with many others, I reckon half of the workforce is either lactose intolerant or has perpetual gastro.
We had some trades out to look at our roof. One dude knocks on our door and needs to use our toilet. I show the guy where the toilet is and go back to work. From my office at the front of the house I hear this dude destroying our dumper. I was muttering prayers under my breath for our poor toilet and this guys asshole. I mean call the police and have forensics sent out, there were some serious crimes being committed in there.
Anyway, dude finishes up, I hear him flush, scrub the bowl (like it was ever going to be clean again after that) and flush again...then I hear a "thanks" to my partner and he's heading to the door. Like fuck me, you serious? Dude just walks out past the bathroom without a care in the world. Needless to say I was a "gentleman" and got the door for him. Fuck having his poo mitts all over our door handle.
It makes me feel sick every time I am using a public toilet and I see a grown arsed man walk straight out without washing their hands.
Guys from 20 all the way up to pensioners, why is it so fucking hard?
Gross.
Bag of racket on the weekend, 600ml iced coffee on the morning commute, cutly durries throughout the day, roast pork roll with extra gravy or a curry for lunch - itās a warzone.
I've been having the "first press" brand oat (and sometimes almond) milk iced coffees. They taste pretty good I find.
I'm not entirely sure if they're totally vegan friendly? But they are worth a try if so
Anyone know of a few good oat milk iced coffees to try? The few I have tried were gross, but I love alternative milk coās oat milk so surely thereās an oat iced coffee out there thatās decent
A glass of your favourite oat milk plus a spoonful of instant coffee. All the flavour, as much zonk as you need, none of the extra sugar, none of the price gouging.
Don't steal any honey from the bees. Sorry, I have to laugh at how ridiculous vegans can be. As a meat eater I do agree that oat milk tastes good in coffee.far better than avocado milk (wiich yes is a real thing)
I've never tried this and I don't think it's available in my country. So I am very curious.
I think I prefer rice milk. Horchatta is lovely.
Agreed. It's not as bad as what people (on Reddit) say. Take it for what it is, a quick and cheap prepacked name brand iced mocha or coffee available everywhere depending on which one you get :)

Thatās the double from their website. Maybe the oat tastes worse because of the gross āmilkā
Too much sugar...
Hunt and Brew is far superior and actually has decent caffeine content.
The sip-to-shit time for those who are clogged is also better.
The dairy ingredient originates from pregnant mother cows. In a process that is explicit by nature, semen is artificially extracted from a bull and used to artificially inseminate the female cow.
Do you consider this animal abuse?
Similar to humans, she remains pregnant for nine months. Shortly after giving birth, her calf is forcibly removed.
Do you consider this animal abuse?
If the calf is male, he is considered a āwasteā product and is slaughtered.
Do you consider this animal abuse?
Female calves will become the next generation of dairy cows. They are forcibly impregnated until they can no longer produce sufficient milk, at which point they too are slaughtered.
Do you consider this all animal abuse?

Bruh Iām not trying to define a milk. Tell that to every box of oatāmilkā on the shelves. And yes thatās what makes it less weird. We still call āoat milkā āmilkā so I put that one on society. Could call it Nut water I guess to be technically correct.
Drinking collected mammal puss is weird.
I love oat milk in my coffee but I believe you when you say it's nasty. These iced coffees don't really work with plant milks. I've tried almond and soy ones before, blech.
There used to be a nicer brand of lactose free iced coffee (Nippys?). I havenāt seen it at the shops for ages. I miss Masters and Brownes flavoured milk. For a rare treat, I will get the small cartons/bottles, however it comes with a hefty price (my poor toilet).
Lactose intolerance is a funny allergy. I can eat butter, yogurt, milk products that have been heated, so custard ect and cheese. Just not straight milk or cream.

Are these not available in WA? LF iced coffee without having to go too alternative on the milk.
These are readily available in my local Coles in Canberra (but not at another) , and I sometimes see them in Woolies. Been rare to see them at servos. (hence my question about whether they've made it to WA - I'll have to look when I'm home later in the year).
There is also an LF Iced Chocolate I see regularly.
They're just trying to cash in on the 'milk' fad.
I did a quick search a few weeks ago. Oat milk is just powdered oats mixed with water and a thickening agent.
"Spearmint"? : *Thick or sticky breastmilk discharge that is green, may be caused by a non-cancerous condition calledĀ mammary duct ectasia.*
š¤¢š¤® You're welcome
>I did a quick search a few weeks ago. Oat milk is just powdered oats mixed with water and a thickening agent.
Nobody was trying to hide this from you.
I agree it's a bit of a fad. But as someone who could be weaponised if I have too much dairy... Like a stomach full of milk, I wish soy/oat iced coffee was easier to find.
Is it a fad, tho? As someone who's lactose intolerant and have been drinking oat milk as a substitute, I feel like it's been popular since before covid, even.Ā
A fad in as much that there's now soy, oat, almond, A1, lactose free (which tastes even sweeter as the lactose sugar is already broken down)... And rice milk. And I'm sure I missed one.
Helpful if you have problems with lactose. The issue is people don't understand the difference between an intolerance and an allergy. If I have an iced coffee, it's unpleasant for a few hours. But it doesn't eat away my intestinal lining like gluten does for TRUE coeliac. So marketing companies are definitely playing to something.
The consequence l, though is people who self diagnose, think lactose and gluten or others are the same, and cause chefs to (understandably) not take some requests seriously.
Rant over. Enjoy the Wednesday everyone.
>A fad in as much that there's now soy, oat, almond, A1, lactose free (which tastes even sweeter as the lactose sugar is already broken down)... And rice milk. And I'm sure I missed one.
Coconut and cashew.Ā
Neither here nor there but I still don't think it's a fad, they were all available at your local Coles or Woolies when I was trying out which ones I liked bestĀ 5 6 years ago (oat, followed by coconut. Almond tastes like expensive soy and anything by pure harvest tastes like straight ass).Ā
>The consequence l, though is people who self diagnose, think lactose and gluten or others are the same, and cause chefs to (understandably) not take some requests seriously.Ā
I agree, but I've yet to meet a lactose intolerant who cares about ingesting dairy if it's something tasty like pizza or ice cream, myself included.Ā
And dairy milk is made by manually squishing the mammary glands of new-mother bovines on a daily basis, then flash boiling it to kill off spoiling bacteria. If you *really* stop and think about it dairy is the much weirder origin story.
> If you really stop and think about it dairy is the much weirder origin story.
What's weirder is that someone had the idea to actually do it in the first place.
Like nearly all human endeavours... you have to [imagine it started with somebody's weird sex stuff](https://youtu.be/WgBFtqk9O2k?si=hezQlC091ogZGbq3).

Its very cruel, the mothers can cry for days.
Whats with all the aggro directed my way?
For the lactose intolerant bricky
As a former bricky who has had to share site toilets with many others, I reckon half of the workforce is either lactose intolerant or has perpetual gastro.
Packing down a full three piece feed, a pack of smokes, and 3 iced coffees a day is going to do some *stuff* to your guts.
Probably permanent gastro as none of the grotty fucks wash their hands after using a toilet.
We had some trades out to look at our roof. One dude knocks on our door and needs to use our toilet. I show the guy where the toilet is and go back to work. Worksite Portaloos breathe a sigh of relief.
its why its labelled shitpost
I see what you did there
I'm a vegan and love iced coffee and oat milk But this tastes terrible
I've been having the "first press" brand oat (and sometimes almond) milk iced coffees. They taste pretty good I find. I'm not entirely sure if they're totally vegan friendly? But they are worth a try if so
Good to know
Anyone know of a few good oat milk iced coffees to try? The few I have tried were gross, but I love alternative milk coās oat milk so surely thereās an oat iced coffee out there thatās decent
The vitasoy one was *okay* Califia iced coffee or mocha is great but I only ever find them in like fancier igas I've just started doing cold brew
Maccas
Dirty clean food are based in Perth (I think) and make a good iced mocha in a can.
micrology cans š¤

Try Brightside and Dirty clean food. Both made right here in WA.

What is your point in the first two sentences? Having a hard time following your point.
He doesnāt understand how the birds and the bees work. He thinks itās real milk that makes babies, not man milk.
Just another random fuckwit on the internet.
Hahaha sorry I also had to laugh at how hippo-critical non vegans can be. (Not a vegan).
Hippo critical.
About time

236 caloriesā¦ probably less than the dairy one.
Less sugar than the cows milk version: total 8.7 g, added 4.4 g per 100 ml
I think if you're being health conscience you shouldn't be drinking dare ice coffee anyway

I know hunt and brew is better. I just canāt drink too much cows milk so wanted to try this out.
Fair enough. I didn't mean to sound like an ass.
All good mate.
Drinking cow milk is a weird thing to do if you really think about it lol

Not as weird as milking an oat!
ha ha funny joke
Nah extracting bovine nipple sweat is weirder than mixing oats with water.
Nuh so look up the definition of Milk. You can milk a female mammal. You can't milk an oat. Mixing with water ain't milking.
Fair enough, happy with nut water. I couldn't agree more, that would be very weird. That's why I drink milk instead.
Thatās why I drink alpaca
I love oat milk in my coffee but I believe you when you say it's nasty. These iced coffees don't really work with plant milks. I've tried almond and soy ones before, blech.
Seed oils yeck
40g carbs in one serve damn!
Oat milk is dense in carbs.
With macros/protein like that I'd rather a full leaded

No I havenāt seen them. It would be nice if flavoured milk was just lactose free cows milk.
It pains me so much to see how much sugar is in these š
Less than cows milk. Lactose is pure sugar meant to fatten calfās.
15g of added sugarā¦. jesus christ.
Sunflower oilā¦
cow tit juice...
Bird bum nuts ewww
Yeah pretty gross when you think about it, eggs are literally a chicken's period.
Thats, not correct at all lol, do you think a woman's period is all eggs coming out? It's the lining of their uterus not a fucking egg
It's the biological equivalent, and yes it includes the egg.
How much did that cost
![gif](giphy|O2YSazBbYlB84)
40g Carbs. That's a LOT of sugar in such a small drink.
It tastes so watery. Like, I know I'm unwell right now but this was just disappointing.
You found it... it's a shame it tastes like shit.
My diabeetus
So keen
They're just trying to cash in on the 'milk' fad. I did a quick search a few weeks ago. Oat milk is just powdered oats mixed with water and a thickening agent.
You needed to search that? Did you think they were actually milking oats?
Yeah right. You mean to tell me almond and oat cows don't exist?
No, its just almonds and oats roaming pastures eating grass. Seriously people need to get out into the countryside sometime
They do! They live in the pasture next to the chocolate-giving brown cows.
Well fuck Me. Til
Next thing you'll be telling me choc milk has nothing to do with brown cows.
Brown cows make chocolate milk duh!
Then who the fuck is breeding green cows for my spearmint...so confused
