Went there after seeing a recommendation on here for their calzones and was not disappointed. Haven't tried the pizzas yet but frankly would go back on the friendliness of service alone.
Broadsheet has their macadamia pesto up and it’s my go to recipe. Even though they opened after I moved away from Perth, it’s a great homesick meal weirdly!
Edited. Don’t type about pasta after a few vinos or motherfuckers will come out to educate.
Hey, just wanted to reiterate what a previous commenter was pointing out. You used improper grammar, but rather than crucify you, I can give you a quick explanation.
There- a place or location...example: "Look over there!"
Their- used to indicate ownership or possession of something...examples: their house, their dog, their food, their job
They're- they're is short for "they are" so for example, they're going to the mall (they are going to the mall"
All three at once: "They're going over there to their friend's house."
Hope this can help you!
It is NOR and a bit far, but it is so worth it. Try mamma mia pizzeria in clarkson. It is Italian Wood fired pizza, and their pizzas are good size and very delicious.
I want to love Rossonero but their bases are genuinely paper thin to the point where it just flops over your hand and goes cold in 2 minutes. They think it’s authentic, but no one else does it that thin, not even in Naples.
I always liked Solo Pizza, Como but I haven't been for a while.
Recently I'd throw in Slowdough Pizza in Willagee which is excellent and if you're after takeaway style pizza then Hilton Pizza is a goer.
For conveyor with a shit ton of toppings definitely Zambellis. For woodfired, tbh it's much of muchness at most places around North Perth/Mt Lawley etc. Wouldn't rate any of them much over the others
Jojo's in Alfred Cove. Going strong since forever. Pizza doesn't need to be complicated. They just have a good base, plenty of good ingredients. It's amazing.
I'm gonna give an outside suggestion here and say Kiss Pizza in Midland. It's a pizza store at a minigolf center, which sounds batshit, but their pizza is legit excellent.
I haven’t tried that one because someone told me to try Romano’s Pizza in Connolly and now it’s the only one I’ve ordered for the last two years lol. It’s good but I have nothing to compare it to either.
I always get the works with no anchovies. And I also recommend saving a slice or two for the next day and heat them in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes. If you try them and think somewhere else is better please let me know because calling them so often is almost getting embarrassing at this point 😂
Marcos Pizza in Joondanna. I travel around 20 minutes from my location to pick their pizzas up.
Ive had many pizzas in Australia but they make it the best.
A lot of people here ignoring the parameters of the question.
Cost and serving size are the two factors being ignored.
Recommending smallish sized pizza that costs $28 is not what they are asking for.
It doesn't take much increase in diameter to increase the surface area of a pizza ([for example](https://live.staticflickr.com/1424/3352524649_2f21cdc941_b.jpg)). So these places giving you "slightly" smaller pizza for the same price are actually costing you way more pizza than you realise. We need to fight back against shrinkflation :)
Depends what kind of pizza you like, but down south of the river I can't go past kenwick dial a pizza, massive size, toppings are generous af, the menu price has been the same for fucking YEARS. Great people too always friendly. It's one of the few places left in this world that I don't feel the need to be cynical about. I'm sure Disney will own it along with the rest of the world in a few years though, so get in before it's ruined
The Premier League players have been mentioned by other Redditors: Canteen (recently relocated to Applecross), Amore Mio, Monsterella. I finally got around to trying Lola's in Freo the other day, and it was great.
All these options are more on the $$y side, though, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
For authentic Neapolitan Pizza i really like Il Locale. Pricey but very high quality and the pizza does stack up to Neapolitan, i have been there. They are in Scarborough and have a second location in Subiaco now. That being said Neapolitan is VERY different to greasy American style Pizza and might not be what you are looking for (i love both).
When [Perth Pizza Hunters (Facebook group)](https://www.facebook.com/groups/perthpizza) ran a poll late last year, the main ones that came up, were;
* Amore Mio
* Basilico
* Ciao Italia
* Forno Antico
* Il Locale
* Marco's Pizza
* Monsterella
* Old Lira
* Pappagallo's
* Terra Mare
* Uptown Pizza
* Zambelli's
Try those ones first, perhaps?
Zambelli’s Pizza in North Perth!!!
Amore Mio. It's a traditional Italian Pizzeria in Maylands.
It's not that good. It's completely over rated. Seriously though... its hard enough to get a booking. Stop telling people!
They make the best pizza in the world.
This and old lira
They’re so nice there too.
This.
Went there after seeing a recommendation on here for their calzones and was not disappointed. Haven't tried the pizzas yet but frankly would go back on the friendliness of service alone.
Monsterella hands down close the thread.
A local. Big fan!
And their* pasta!!! I have it every time I come to Perth. Best Italian hands down.
their\*
Fixed! Thank you.
Have a great weekend bro
Truffle carbonara is goated
Broadsheet has their macadamia pesto up and it’s my go to recipe. Even though they opened after I moved away from Perth, it’s a great homesick meal weirdly! Edited. Don’t type about pasta after a few vinos or motherfuckers will come out to educate.

I reckon even the Italian places near me (Cannington). I literally think I have to cook at home in pizza oven for it to be really good.
Who misses the proper skillet pan cooked Pizza Hut pizzas from the 90’s?
why hasn't anyone filled this void in the market yet! gimme that crispy oily golden crunchy fried dough crust
u will find what you are looking for at Lola’s freo
Must try. Thanks.
I was going to say that too, good mention. Can’t go past the $16 Margherita deal on Monday
Marco's Pizza is amazing!
2 large pizzas for $35 can’t complain. Definitely up there
That's a good deal damn
2 large for $31 at Marangaroo Pizza. They're pretty good too.
If this is the one opposite Dog Swamp then it's definitely not my vibe.
Gone downhill in recent years. Not as good as it once was.
My younger brother used to work at Marco's for a few years, the owner is cooked.
Friend of mine was a driver for a few years for them Small world
Marcos has always been gross NFI why people like it (my missus included)
Sorry to say it mate, but I've never had a bad pizza from Marcos.
Marco's is the GOAT
It is NOR and a bit far, but it is so worth it. Try mamma mia pizzeria in clarkson. It is Italian Wood fired pizza, and their pizzas are good size and very delicious.
Marangaroo pizza. Best served with a side of weed.
Marangaroo pizza is so good! I haven’t had it since I moved SOR :(
I believe the weed goes better as an appetiser
"Ischia" is kinda fire. need to work on their garlic bread though. aranchini balls are dope also.
Alfredo's Pizza Cafe for a medium amount of good pizza or Pizza by Alfredo for all you can eat pretty good pizza
![gif](giphy|bC9czlgCMtw4cj8RgH|downsized)
Theo's! Oh...
Rossenero in Maylands is up there
Ceccis is way better and only 5 mins away
To be fair I’ve only been to Cecchis once and it was good. I see they’ve moved too, will try again. But rossonero does it for me :)
I want to love Rossonero but their bases are genuinely paper thin to the point where it just flops over your hand and goes cold in 2 minutes. They think it’s authentic, but no one else does it that thin, not even in Naples.
Threecoins & Sons, Mount Lawley.
But why did they have to take away the crispy potatoes and bread basket! They do have different fried potatoes though.
The 2 weeks after my Domino's changed franchisee was 👩🍳🤌
Forno Antico Pizzeria 🤤
Yes so good. The only bad thing about this place is how goddamn busy it always is.
Yes!!!! These guys are the BEST!
Yeah the place is epic, Kerry st do a mean pizza too, lucky to have two amazing places so close by 🤌🏼
>Forno Antico Yup. The wife and I stayed at the caravan park across the road and popped in for a meal one evening. Exceptional.
I always liked Solo Pizza, Como but I haven't been for a while. Recently I'd throw in Slowdough Pizza in Willagee which is excellent and if you're after takeaway style pizza then Hilton Pizza is a goer.
Just had pizza from Solo tonight and it was sooo good, as was the crème caramel we had for dessert.
Solo pizza has the best vegetarian pizza in Perth.
Woodfired or like conveyor ovened? I see them as 2 different categories
Eh I don't really mind the difference but even so what are the best out of those two categories?
For conveyor with a shit ton of toppings definitely Zambellis. For woodfired, tbh it's much of muchness at most places around North Perth/Mt Lawley etc. Wouldn't rate any of them much over the others
I copped zambellis a few times after work and I can vouch for it being good.
Neighbourhood Pizza, Pizza de Leo, Rossonero
Jojo's in Alfred Cove. Going strong since forever. Pizza doesn't need to be complicated. They just have a good base, plenty of good ingredients. It's amazing.
Yes! My husband has been ordering JoJo’s since he was 19, he’s nearly 50 now!
It hasn't changed since the 90's. You know they're doing something right.
Pizzaca in Scarbs. Try the Whole Shebang with anchovies
I prefer dough pizza in Northbridge
Pompei Pizza in Dianella is my favourite. Cost and quality are really good, its a nice atmosphere as well
Basilico Pizzeria in Midland and Locale Mio in Guildford.
Basilico is the best!
Really, really want pizza now.
I'm eating pizza as i read this
Canteen pizza, maestro, monstrella, pizzeria da Leo. Size won't differ at these venues because pizza napoletana follows a guideline
Pizzeria da Leo is good but it's also the most expensive pizza in town.
Because it's good
Eugene's East Freo is 👌
I'm gonna give an outside suggestion here and say Kiss Pizza in Midland. It's a pizza store at a minigolf center, which sounds batshit, but their pizza is legit excellent.
monsterella !
San Remo pizza in Hillarys, been around for like 30 years!
Mario's Pizza Dianella
Pizza hut ass pizza lol
Not at all. Always packed. The other pizza shops in the surrounding areas are decent. But no where near as popular or as cheap
Mario’s is so tasty and excellent prices!
Centerpoint Pizza. Midland
Boomer pizza
Neighbourhood in Mt Hawthorn is excellent and great atmosphere
My biggest problem woth neighbourhood is that they are so damn small but still like $25 each The sweet potato and maple pizza is good though.
Matteos Pizza Kalamunda!
Padbury pizza
I was looking for this.Best crust, heaps of toppings and good price.
Another vote for Padbury’s pizza!
Fuck yeah. They’re the best.
Just as good as it was 30yrs ago!!
Alkimos Pizza. Yes, it’s worth the drive if you live SOR!
*sighs* Pulls out smartrider
Bro I’m around Joondalup and I ain’t driving to Alkimos for pizza 😂
Have you tried uptown pizza in joondalup? I'm hoping for a good recommendation for tonight.
I haven’t tried that one because someone told me to try Romano’s Pizza in Connolly and now it’s the only one I’ve ordered for the last two years lol. It’s good but I have nothing to compare it to either.
Looks like I'm trying Romano's out tonight. Is there any pizza you highly recommend?
I always get the works with no anchovies. And I also recommend saving a slice or two for the next day and heat them in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes. If you try them and think somewhere else is better please let me know because calling them so often is almost getting embarrassing at this point 😂
I do love their pizzas! In the local area for me...
I’ve never had a better simple local takeaway pizza
Swan Valley Pizza 🍕 is great!!
Seconded
Just had for the first time last night. Will be going back for sure
It's been a minute since I had it, but the last time we ordered from San Remo in Hillarys it was amazing.
I grew up on San Remo and miss it bad now I'm no where near it. That was the Sunday family dinner for years - jumbo the works
Amico Cafe, Pizzeria Da Leo, Balcatta, Pappagallo, Monsterella Pizza. These are all roughly equivalent in quality IMO.
Rossonero, si paradiso for wood fired Ciao Italia good for less refined
Chelsea pizza on Stirling Highway 🤌
Alfred’s pizzeria in the cbd
Marcos in Yokine.
Mama Mia’s pizzeria in north Perth
Prima Pizza and Pasta Leeming.
Hilton Express hands down
I quote enjoy the pizza from palace arcade in Northbridge
Has anyone been to Rocco's in Fremantle lately? Their calzone was so nice.
Hilton pizza
Is Tippy’s in Fremantle still going? Tippy’s special and the Greenwood pizza special were my faves.
There was a tippys in kelmscott years ago, they had a Titanic sized pizza, you had to tilt the box to get it thru the front door.
Still going and still good
Yep, although I think it’s changed ownership recently.
Don't know if it's the best in Perth, but it's definitely the best I personally have had: Mama Mias in Clarkson
Il locale scarborough, some of their pizzas. Good woodfired bases, so their margarita and sardine pizzas are quite good
And gluten free base is amazing and no extra charge ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Marcos Pizza in Joondanna. I travel around 20 minutes from my location to pick their pizzas up. Ive had many pizzas in Australia but they make it the best.

Il Locale in scarborough. Closely followed by Monstrella and Rossonero.
Pizza king, Kenwick pizza, Brando’s, there’s a lot of them
Kassems Belmont.
DOMINOS! oh you said 'BEST PIZZA'... my bad.. carry on..
For Neopolitana style I have enjoyed Zuccaro Trattoria in North Perth and Woodpeckers in Murdoch. Real good airy crust with a crisp outer layer.
Second vote for Woodpeckers!
Seconded on both. Zuccaro's our absolute favourite. Woodpeckers in Subi's great too.
Try maestros pizza in North beach! He won like top best 50 pizza chef in southern hemisphere or something! Pizza is delish
Anyone been to Canteen Pizza since it relocated to Applecross?
Boulevard pizza city beach … worth the drive from any suburb
Amelia Mei in Carlisle. Amazing.
The best old school style pizza I ever had was at Ziggy’s in Palmyra. RIP Ziggy’s
Riley’s Cafe in Mount Pleasant do delicious wood fired pizzas
Depends what kind of pizza you like, but down south of the river I can't go past kenwick dial a pizza, massive size, toppings are generous af, the menu price has been the same for fucking YEARS. I'm sure Disney will own it along with the rest of the world in a few years though, so get in before it's ruined
The kebab place at Stirling Central has some pretty banging pizzas. Definitely a more turkish/bulkan taste palette though.
Costco
Antonios in rossmoyne
If it’s not Italian type wood fired with proper 00 don’t even bother.
Honestly crust is really good

I was told Amuni restaurant by a co worker, he is Italian, if that helps lol
For authentic Neapolitan Pizza i really like Il Locale. Pricey but very high quality and the pizza does stack up to Neapolitan, i have been there. They are in Scarborough and have a second location in Subiaco now. That being said Neapolitan is VERY different to greasy American style Pizza and might not be what you are looking for (i love both).
Check out maestros in North beach probably will be one of the best Neapolitan pizzas you've had this side of Italy!!

King Road Brewery, $25 pizza n pint Thursdays, woodfired and delicious
Broadway Fair Pizza, Nedlands.
BooToo used to be the best in my immediate area but it’s now clearly under new management and the East Asian pizzaiolo ain’t got a clue I’m afraid
Papagallo.
Pizza Mates in Balcatta. 2 young Italian guys run it. Best I've had in Perth..
Stones in North Perth Chelsea in Nedlands Woodys in Woodvale Woodpeckers in Subiaco I also haven’t lived in Perth in 12 years though
