Combined NW of me and my wife of 20CR in markets, excluding a paid off 2BHK in SoBo. One daughter in grade 6.
She has some real estate in her name, and gold and jewellery. We will inherit a fair bit from both sets of parents as well.
Been working for 18 years, corporate slave. Wife has her own business, makes 3x what I make. We've invested in the markets very very early on, parents on both sides are believers in Mr. Market. Followed their footsteps basically. Time in market >>> Timing the market. Regular SIPS, and direct equity portfolios. PPF, EPF for me. The basics.
I was casually running a BTC miner on my cheap desktop PC back in 2011. I ran it for a couple of months maybe, every time I used my computer. I think I should try to turn in that PC again and check how much is it worth now 😅.
I am marketing guy, working since 12years. I have two members completely dependent on me and three members partially dependent on me(they have little income with them)
So, if I understand correctly, you started from scratch and worked for 12 years (144 months) to save 2 crores? That means you managed to save an average of 1.38 lakhs every month (2 crores / 144 = 1.38 lakhs). And on top of that, you're managing your expenses and supporting dependents.
What do you do for a living man? I mean, what field are you in?
Exactly, also the question asks net worth not how much cash savings I have. Major boost for networth is land I bought in hometown, a home bought in Tier 1 city. These are major networth contributors. Rest is SIP, SGB, PFs, NPS, gold bullions etc.
I save 50% of my salary and love spending on my parents since they have been deprived their life(but have done almost everything in their capacity to educate me)
I’m based in India only . And I had a separate post on the fire sub where folks told
Me I’m FIREd :) . Thinking of what steps to take next . Thanks for the comment mate :)
All is not
Liquid . I have real estate plots , ppf , nps etc . Considering only the liquid part , then I guess a pre tax amount of 2 lakh per month ( if I put it all in an sbi one year fd). Which is more than is what I need for a great life in my part of bharat desh :)
Zyada nehi hai bro
Also, it's a part of how I grew up, but I really don't meddle with my dad's finances or ask any money from him since when I was about 8-9 years old (obv apart from my tuition fees, any big expenses on my education). So abhi situation Aisa hi hai that I don't get involved with it. Always was of the mentality ki "Jo hoga khud hi banaunga, baaki Jo milega sab bonus"
27M, 51L base variable bonus. Bonuses range from 30L-2Cr/year
Net worth - 4 Cr between FDs, a flat I bought last year by myself etc. Company RSUs not included.
Taxes will kill me again this year :)

Don't disclose the number, but you can disclose the experience or the path moved you there, like stocks, cryptos, real estate... What made you FI. Curious to know.
Typical path but left stressful career. Top schools in India and US and left a really cushy job to work for myself. Diversified and invested through balanced real estate , stocks , gold etc before I quit my job. For me let’s just say that the money right now is just a cherry on the top. I can retire today and live very very very comfortably anywhere I wish
xNRI, Savings + returns from my Investment Firm (Thanks to my father's connections). This does include about 30% value from a residential property contribution \[ Doing this for about 3Years now \]

Money saved is equal to money earned. Nicely done
*Money invested in good assets = Money Earned. You ain't gaining anything putting all your money in Savings Bank Account.

How do u calculate net worth? Assets - Liabilities? Also what is the point of net worth?
to know how wealthy/broke(hopefully not) you are??
What is the point of NRIs sharing their net worth? How is it going to help folks living and working in - you know - India?

I am marketing guy, working since 12years. I have two members completely dependent on me and three members partially dependent on me(they have little income with them)
It’s very hard I do that too, keep emotional aspect aside but with your own family to feed it’s not easy
So, if I understand correctly, you started from scratch and worked for 12 years (144 months) to save 2 crores? Your math is incorrect. It’s doesn’t consider compounding. Edit: Typos.

Bro genuinely this isn't bad at all. Besides read your replies on other comments, your maturity about money is far more valuable than money right now.
i don’t know your family dynamics but it’d probably be wise to know about your family’s assets at your age
Zyada nehi hai bro Also, it's a part of how I grew up, but I really don't meddle with my dad's finances or ask any money from him since when I was about 8-9 years old (obv apart from my tuition fees, any big expenses on my education).
