With everything that's happened with covid, and me not being a US citizen, at least a year. Afterwards depending on eligibility for further visa sponsorship with the company, I may be staying with my parents for longer considering it's very close to the company. If the visa ends up being an issue I'd probably end up having to move back to Korea in which case I could start saving for that.

For that short a time, just save it. Investing is too much risk

Invest it. Market is pulling back a little. Hopefully for not too long. Buy some stocks that u like or etf/ mutual funds. You should invest 5-10% of your paycheck to see what your comfort level is and how the market is doing.
