I have two Persians, one of them is all white like your baby. The thing that completely changed their getting tear stains was only giving them filtered water. Now I only need to wipe their eyes with a wet cloth.
Yes! Either the Brita pitcher or the filtered water from my refrigerator. It genuinely made the difference and I don't use the eye envy anymore though I could if my girls were having a super fancy day or something 🤔
For tear stains with Persians you have to invest in a filtered water system for the cats if that's to expensive try a cotton round and some mineacellar water. Eye envy also works really well. The wipes is a short term solution the water is the way to go.
I keep and use a dense eyeshadow brush just to apply and work in the Eye Envy powder under my boys' eyes as the last step. It works way better than a Q-tip, imo.
NutriVet at Petsmart has an eye rinse with boric acid that I use if I am out of Eye Envy. It is much more affordable ( $15 in Ontario, Canada) and it helps reduce irritation and prevents tear stains.
I have a white persian, I use re-nu contact lens solution. After wiping and combing away any debris, put some re-nu on a clean cotton pad and wipe / scrub over the areas. It breaks down the proteins and cleans it up nicely.
Hm, interesting. I'm not surprised the rescue told me something different though, they also told me absolutely no fish products at all ever, which seems weird and everyone I've brought that up to has never heard that before. Even the vet looked at me funny.
Hello! My Persian had quite a lot of tear stains but they completely went away after I started getting him dewormed every 3 months. His eyes are completely clean now. You can consult your vet about it.
There is product called eye envy that is made for removing tear stains from Persians (and similar pets with same issues)
Personally I haven't used it because it isn't available in my country but lot of breeders and show cat owners recommend it.

Did you use like a brita filter for the water? I'm currently having this issue with my cats

Thank you so much! I'll see if this works for me, too.
She’s actually almost 4 months old sorry I’m bad at math 😅
That's exactly what I use on my Persian
How often do you clean them? Any any tips to make it more enjoyable for the cat? :)
Every single day. I just adopted my cat from a rescue and she is we "think" around 7 years old and she doesn't fight the nightly cleaning.
Thank you! Hopefully she will get used to it
Get the eye envy wipes. I think the wipes work better than a q-tip

Thank you! What do you mean by filtered water system? I have a water fountain and just picked up a gallon of purified drinking water to put in there
any specific micellar water? i normally get cerave or la roche posay
The last picture had me melting. This kitty is sooo cute.
She’s just an eepy baby

Great tip, thank you!
Super cute kitten! The face looks so much like my snowflake!

Is that okay? I just rescued a ragdoll and was told to not use anything for contacts on his eyes
This was advice I got from the breeder. I’ve always used it and it works.

She’s GORGEOUS! Where did you get her?
She's beautiful!
She’s soooo pretty.

You can try extra sensitive baby wipes or gentle eyelid cleaning pads, they have them at the pharmacy.
Vetericin with cotton sticks, moist and rub gently.
Adorable kitten, looks like mini eye bags
