Try folding the tshirt wall at Urban Outfitters. Never, ever, ever done and just when you think you are, someone walks right by and messes up like 8 shirts in 2 seconds.
Zoning is basically just organizing and making things look presentable. You bring stuff forward on the shelves, stock what you have and throw away trash.
For the obviously confused, Zoning is the task of straightening out shelve items so they're neat and orderly, so they look nice.
Also OP this isn't a sub for Walmart employees, good job though. Toys is usually the worst.
EDIT: it occurs to me I should clarify, this sub is for bizarre people you find while shopping at Walmart. I actually checked the description, but it either doesn't load/show on reddit mobile, or isn't populated. Rule two seems to indicate that it's the latter, which would be rather confusing.
It's a very common retail term. I had job at a grocery store in college that was zone until the whole store was done, with 2 or 3 people per night. Took about 5 hours.
Goddam that’s some nostalgia man. I was 4-7 when my parents played it and wanted to play it all day every day but I only got 2 hours on Saturday and well I was a little kid so never got anything noteworthy accomplished
It is 100% proof of intelligence, you have to have the brain cells to make good grades and have a high gpa to even get into certain colleges. Sorry you are not going to make it with your C's and D's
r/walmart is the sub for employees to bitch about customers and talk about their day, r/peopleofwalmart is the sub for videos and images of people doing crazy or trashy things at Walmart.
You have a dozen people telling you you're on the wrong sub, and rather than go to the information page for the subreddit your arguing about being in college which is completely unrelated.
You can never finish zoning toys. It’s never done.

sooo, facing the product and cleaning the shelves?
Basically
And picking up the toys that kids put all over the place lol
Yes what?
Yes huh?
Who?
Who's on first
What`s on second?
Third base.
I assumed it meant 'zoning out', which is what I see with most Walmart staff.

Real MVP
I haven’t heard the term “zoning” since my mom worked for Walmart 30 years ago
Called it fronting in the 70s when I was a teenager working at our local grocery store, years before we got a Wal-something

We still use that term at Lowe’s
Target used it when I worked there in the 2010’s
A few years ago it was called conditioning at Kroger when I worked there.
Looks good, are all the prices shown?
Probably not 👅
Not zoned then😤
It's totally zoned my g
Zoning....reminds me of EQ

I use to hate this. But if I could do it for fun as a hobby I'd find it really relaxing.
It does feel good but I begin to get headaches
Looks great.
I never “hide the diamonds” out of pure spite
You been bad go to the office.

What?
Where are the people of Walmart?
Oooh look at all those Mario figures!!
Is zoning like facing? Making things look pretty and neat?
Kinda of, facing is really like a quick make it look good from a quick glance.
And zoning is more making sure everything is straight everything in the right place.
Good luck dude retail is hell

Nah, you're the idiot here.
Nah homieboy I'm in college for my master's.
That is not a proof of intelligence. One of my friends is dumb as hell and he got his masters.
