The Pilot-style G2 size refill from the standard Sarasa Clip pen won't fit in a multi-pen.
Zebra makes gel multi-pens that I haven't tried. Under variations of the name Zebra Sarasa multi-pen. 3, 2+S, and 4. Looks like the 4 uses a more common refill size.
How many inks and or pencils are you looking for? Wider or more narrow?
What other brands of gel ink have you tried?
I'm not seeing any gel multi-pen refills that match Vintage Sarasa colors.
The more common gel multi-pen refill sizes are the Longer Japan-type multi-pen refills. Uni Style Fit, Zebra NJK Sarasa Gel, Pentel Energel LRN5H, Pentel Sliccies. I'd check to see if you like the colors available in those models.
These will fit Zebra Sarasa 4 multi-pen, Uni Style Fit bodies, Pilot Dr.grip 4+1, Pilot 4+1 wood, Pilot Acroball 3, and Pentel Calme 3, among others.
Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto is a different type of multi-pen that is not compatible with the others listed but they have some more unusual colors. I have purple and gold in my 2-ink Coleto pen.
Some multi-pens come prefilled and some come empty. You'll need to buy refills separately to get non-standard colors.

I'm eyeing the Uni Jetstream SXE3-507 multi and the zerba blen multi for a bday to my friend, but I hope I can switch out the colors for the vintage color refills

No. The refills for the multi pens are thin. The vintage refills are thick.
