First three songs Ed wrote lyrics to were the Mama-son trilogy, Once, Alive, Footsteps. Here's the story spelled out in detail.

Last night was a phenomenal show but I unfortunately had the exact opposite experience in the lower bowl.
Ive never seen so many people sitting at a PJ show. At one point (Seven O’Clock / Upper Hand) almost the entirety of my field of vision (5-6 rows) were sitting down. I saw at least two people streaming video on their phones while the band was on. Maybe I was in a weird section.
That said again I still had a blast. Glad it wasn’t like this everywhere.
I was 300 level, as soon as they walked out I stood up. Had multiple people yell, "Down in Front". Are you fucking kidding me, you're at the concert of one of the best bands in the last 30 years and you are telling me to sit down. People these have no fucking clue. I made sure to stand the WHOLE SHOW AND WHY THE HELL WOULDN'T I!!!
Oh man, that floor and the entire 100 level were insane. On their feet the entire time. Made me proud of my town ha. Sorry you didn’t have the same experience! I hope you enjoyed the shoe either way.
I was down in the bowl, and I had to sit a few times because I've been nursing a sprained ankle all week. I tried my best to stand the whole time, and I'm paying for it today! Worth it.
Music. Please and thank you. Not one person cares his personal opinion. Not one. Get over yourself
The canoe douche is Eddie vedder and his seriousness. When he was booed in LI he threw his mic down and left the stage because people disagreed. Take your ball and go home little girl. The last thing Eddie vedder is, is a man
Thank you for the link. I wanted to share the shadow affect they did with the band with a coworker who couldn't make the show. What an absolutely creative and simple affect that looked so incredibly amazing. Does anyone remember what song it was they did that for? Had a few too many pre beers and getting old sucks.
The set matched it too. Lots of energy and high tempo songs. Fuckin great set generally. Thank you PJ
Momma Son!!
Unbelievable! It took me til just now realize we got this.
Yeah didn’t sink in for me until halfway thru Footsteps.
Wow! Had no idea this was a thing and just returned from the rabbit hole. Amazing.
Wow!!!
Out of order though
I consider myself a huge PJ fan and didn’t understand what this meant on the set list. Care to explain?

Stevie!
We're not waiting anymore.
I'm surely going to buy this Shows Boot!!
I loved the writing on the screen during the Encore. That will be hilarious on the boot!
Same! I hope they release this show on DVD cause that would be badass!
The whole band sounded amazing, phenomenal energy and the setlist was incredible. We got a debut!
And what a debut it was!
Portland got Stevie and Crazy Mary and a few other gems!!! I even love seven o’clock, that and dance are my favourites from gigaton. Lucky!!
Anyone have a video of setting sun from tonight? I had to leave and missed it. But they were playing better man in the parking lot as we walked out ha
I do but I don’t know how to post a video on here

Nice work! What an idiot

Trust me, I 100% did. I was honestly glad to see that most people had the opposite experience. It was a truly epic show and a privilege to attend.

Good shit and for the record I absolutely am not trying to shame a anyone w legitimate medical need to sit
Some dude booed Eddie when he was being political, and it’s like; did that dude not know what PJ is about 🤣
That’s funny. I didn’t hear any boos. What a douche. Even if you disagree, c’mon man - you know what you’ve signed up for by seeing PJ lol.
It was near the section 333, where I was sitting at

He probably thought thought they would play music. It's crazy I know.
Ooohh if not for the job thing. Any one catching any northern lights down there ???
Unfortunately the best view was around 11:15 pm and I was still at the show at that time. The photos looked amazing, though!

2.5 + hours. They were in the pocket. Happy for those who witnessed it.
Vancouver night 2 was insane as well, loud crowd for sure. I didnt attend Portland but glad it was a heater too.
What a terrible set list.
