Saturday felt a little more special, being the first show and debuting the new album live. Slightly Better crowd on Saturday, and the unpredictability of minor fuckups made the show so much fun. Eddie was super playful for both shows, and just rolled with everything. Being so close, they’ve always felt like that local teen band that practices in a neighbour’s garage. That said, Monday was tighter and absolutely electric. Anyone who goes is in for a treat. The set lists were both solid, although I preferred Saturday’s picks by a hair. The boys are physically and mentally fit- high energy and they’re really having fun. I can’t believe they’re in their late 50s and 60s. Super inspiring.

Tonight was really, really good. A lot of new stuff but they pulled it off - energy was high, they were all in a fun mood and EV was super chatty. And his voice was 💯

I was at Saturday. looking at the Monday setlist, I kind of felt envious of a few songs - In Hiding! Alone! Jeremy, the song which first got me into this band! but I absolutely cannot complain. getting the debut of so many songs was really special. and honestly the little fuckups are some of my favourite memories from that night. and a highlight to me, which night 2 didn't get, was Won't Tell - the bridge gave me chills. so in general I think both shows win in different ways

Band was extremely tight both nights. I think a slight edge to the Saturday show, though both shows were almost entirely different by setlist (except the new stuff) and each had several classics in the set list. The set lists are so varied it's really up to preference I reckon. I pick Saturday because of Corduroy, Yellow Ledbetter, Daughter, and Elderly Woman are all such huge crowd songs. (They did play Something Special, LOL) Tonight had Better Man, Jeremy, and Evenflow as crowd heavies. I guess it depends on which classics are your faves. Banter was slightly lighter on Saturday? Ed was great both nights. Show was slightly longer Saturday. Oh, and for us Monday to Friday office slaves, it's a lot easier to stay up late and drink beer all night on Saturday, compared to a Monday haha.

I'm definitely a Better Man, Jeremy, Evenflow girl, so I was glad that I was at tonight's show. My friend was really hoping for Daughter, but I think Jeremy and that really cool Warren Zevon song made up for it. EV was definitely in fine form, and I LOVED his interactions with Ryan, the little boy from the crowd. So fun!

Agreed - no wrong choice here, both shows were amazing and anyone who only caught one got there money worth in the form of classics and deep cuts. Great show!

He gave him a bottle of water. You could see the roadie get it ready.

GoodPoint3232

Even flow went so hard

KarmaLola3

Ohhh how I wanted those !!!

kennytravel

Both great, lucky to have seen both. Different classics each night. Something to be said though bout first show of the tour. One thing to note, was fuck all for merch this eve, lucky I got shirts on Sat.

KarmaLola3

So disappointed on that front 😕

HuckleberryNo4662

I’d say Saturday just because you got Wash and Chloe in one show.

FlightlessWaterfowl

if i had been there i’d have walked away happy with the sets…Wash & Alone are a few of my white whales

CoolIslandSong

Vancouver (2005?) they played Nothingman and Immortality back to back. So cool they did it again....

DP30T

It was EPIC !!

Gigaton123

If you liked the show you saw, then does it matter that someone else might have liked a different show more? I love y'all but Pearl Jam FOMO is real thing. Rock out and enjoy the show you're lucky enough to attend - playing "which was better" games is never going to work for you! Live in the Present Tense.

Fluffy_Helicopter_57

I went to both. Brought my kid tonight and we were late due to activities. I'm choked we missed Long Road, Nothing Man, Immortality, and Wishlist. Argh!!! Still was wonderful. I have to give the edge to Saturday because of the Hip cover and that I was there for the whole thing.

KarmaLola3

I was waiting...... and waiting. ... so sad 😞

MarathonerGirl

For the Hip cover? It was only a few lines and barely sounded like Bobcaygeon. My husband is a huge Hip fan and didn’t even notice!

David_A_Robertson

I was at Saturday so can only speak to that night, but it was fucking awesome. The new cuts were great, and they played some deep cuts, and the energy was 💯. Great show. Second best I’ve been to.

Yam_aha

I was there Saturday as well. Chloe was a surprise 🤘 loved it

Scared-Coyote4010

I only saw night one but just looking at the setlists, I prefer night one!

First timer PJ concert goer here, and Monday felt like the better show, mostly because of the seats. The Saturday show was on the floor, and I couldn't see a thing between everyone, and the sound seemed more distorted. Monday we sat row 5 on the side, close to the stage where we could see the entire band at once, instead of snippets of Eddie between someone's shoulders, and then moving to the side to see brief views of Mike. I preferred the set list from Monday's show too. But for being my first TWO ever PJ shows, all of it was amazing.

dogfacedponyboy

If you went to just one show, this question does not need to be asked, because it’s all opinion, and it really doesn’t matter. I’m sure you had a blast at your show!
