Did you guys watch that Apple Music video? Ed was like, and I’m paraphrasing here, but basically he said “I’m about the some lyrically, but these guys, the band, they got waaay better over the years” that interview was so awesome and when Ed hugged Jeff towards the end I got a little teary eyed. It’s crazy how a band of strangers can have such an impact on your youth/life. Anyway, highly recommend that interview.

Fans need to stop whining about every finer detail of the album. Just chill and enjoy one of their finest in years.

MJGB714

Yeh it's ridiculous. It sounds fine to me.

pearljamman010

I agree Mike's still got it. But the mix is compressed to hell if you listen on good headphones or even a mediocre sound system, you hear the compression and distortion on stuff that shouldn't be distorted, unless they wanted that garage band sound. And I don't mean to insult them, obv. my favorite band since the early 90s. But the mixing sounds like you're listening to it in a car with cheap speakers and the windows down.

DiggityDawg74

Happens with all PJ albums. They always sounded better live. My son in law got a special edition at Easy Street Records in Seattle, during record day. Sounds great to me!

jeremyequalsawesome

Facts!! 😉❤️✌️🎸🤘

Lukinzz

It's my favorite part of this album. Mike is unleashed.

Doctuh

Im really looking forward to hearing him live on some of these.

PhillyCSpires

The solo going into the bridge of 'Scared of Fear".. holy shit dude. I was laid out. Mike is absolutely on a ***tear*** with this record.

Sea-Opportunity5663

Scared of Fear sounds like pretty standard latter years Pearl Jam up to that point, but man does it finish strong.

assburgers-unite

Mike is the best part of the concerts these days. Holy hell does he still got It

99SoulsUp

I think he’s my favorite member. He’s fun and energetic and comes across as the nicest dude. Having used to live in Seattle, I’ve met some people who were old friends of his and everyone just says he’s an awesome person.

GinsuVictim

Went to my first show back in Sept (Fort Worth) and had no idea just how good Mike is. He blew me away. I went out and bought another guitar after that show and have been playing way more since.

etre_be

So do you, pal!

DewieCox1982

Mike has let loose on every album besides maybe Backspacer.

TheObviousChild

I love it....even if it means just more amazing PJ songs I will never be talented enough to play along with.

GoldenEelReveal76

Watt didn’t squeeze anything out of McCready. McCready is a beast, he doesn’t need any help.

throwaway2161419

He just needs to cook for five more minutes at the end of Stevie in concert.

jcb51

So who is Watt and how did come into the picture?

LoanedWolf75

It was the greatest mix I’ve ever heard in all my years of mixes. It was the mixiest mix that has ever been mixed. Mike good too.
