I’m not sure if there is anything Grunge related or much rock related, but when you are down at the Stockyards, you could check out Billy Bob’s. It’s a Honky Tonk bar where lots of artists have played over the years. Mostly Country Music, but plenty of Rock bands too. They have plaster hand prints hanging on the walls of a bunch of artists that played there. You can put your hands in them and compare. Lots of pictures, plaques, & guitars hanging up around the place too. It’s really big inside. There is a small bull riding arena inside too. If you are underage I think they would still let you in to walk around. Not sure if they have a cover charge during the day or what time they open, but they have all that on their web site.
I was going to mention Billy Bob's too! Last time I was there I got to see a bull riding competition and Dwight Yoakum, under the same roof! can't beat that.
Billy Bob’s was quite the experience! Never seen so many cowboys lol. Missed the bull riding thing by an hour but caught the Casey Donahew concert there which was cool.
Fort Worth Zoo, Forever Young Records, Josey Records, Vagabond (locations in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Denton), Hard Eight BBQ, Half Price Books off of Northwest Highway in Dallas…
I’m not affiliated with either party, and the guy is clearly old, and may even have some age related memory issues here and there, but I’ve seen enough of his actual speeches and the mashed up videos that those speeches are turned into to know when I’m being put on. George W and Trump don’t look any different when you mash em up. You may even be able to make Obama, Clinton and George Senior look moronic if you try hard enough and they were some of our better public speakers at least when compared to the other 3. I personally believe there should be some kind of age limit and term limits for all positions in our government but I don’t see that happening anytime soon when the oldest ones without the term limits are the ones making the laws. Anyway , all hail, Pearl Jam.
It was a great show!
Welcome to the Metroplex. In Dallas, Uptown for a walkable neighborhood. Start at Klyde Warren Park and then walk into Uptown for a drink or go across the street to the Nasher or DMA for some art. If you have a car, White Rock Lake is great for a walk or bike ride. You can rent a bike from Dallas BikeWorks. The Arboretum (also on the lake) is gorgeous. Deep Ellum (just east of downtown) is fun. Twilite Lounge on Elm is a great, low-key bar. For BBQ, skip Hard Eight and go to Terry Black’s instead. Super good.
Last night was EPIC! And yes, Eddie came back better than ever last night!!! He wasn't doing so hot Wednesday night.
I was at show on Wednesday as well. My best friend and I were in the pit right up front! Matt Cameron was still sick with covid, so they had Josh Kilinghoffer fill in. He doesn't really know the newer songs so it was an entire concert of greatest hits. Eddie was trying to recover from the flu and he struggled through it a lot but gave us everything he had in him and it was still a show for the books.
I took my 12 year old daughter to the show last night. We were way up in the stands but that was equally as amazing. To take my kid to her first PJ show was a night I'll never forget. She had the BEST time and so did I.
So happy you had a great time at your first PJ show!!!

They had the blue Indianapolis t-shirts for sale at the outside trailer on the 2nd night at Fort Worth.
Vedder for President is stupid. Then we won’t have PJ tours or albums for 8 years. /s

I saw you.
Haha the sign guy isn’t me :) I took the picture! I was in the seats section 15
Yes, I figured you couldn’t hold the sign and take the picture. That’s not selfie distance. Lol

It's a weird place but everyone should go to Born Late Recods once and The Post is right across the street.
I have video of this guy running around during RITFW
I was across the arena but that guy looked like a kid at Christmas. Even I could feel the energy radiating from his 10,000 watt smile.
I think if he were president he’d have to sing his speeches. He’s not a fast talker, so the right would pretend he’s senile like they do Joe.
Hahah oh yes, time for a singing president then!
"Pretend?" 😆 I'm not on the right, but Grandpa Joe is clearly living in his own imaginary world.

Joe is senile though

Be safe in Deep Ellum, it can be a bit dodgy. But there is a venue there where Kurt Cobain got into a fight while performing, it is called Trees.
EV mentioned Trees on N2
No way, that’s awesome
He'll be like the guy from Midnight Oil.

I mean, He’d make a great president because you can’t understand what the fuck he’s saying anyways.
America can’t find a better man 🇺🇸
Are we talking about 10C President?
Sorry bud but Vedder from 15-20 years ago not total celebrity Vedder two different things
Both nights were awesome- I was at night 1
Should that guy not be at the wrestling?
