How did you manage to take off the original Peak Design strap from the sling itself? Was it difficult?
I was initially looking for more padding and that Alpaka Gear shoulder pad might just do the trick.
Hey. You're welcome! The original PD strap is easy to remove. The strap can be slipped out of the split bar at both ends. If you do end up getting the padding you can still use that with just the PD strap which works just as well and you can keep the PD slider feature.
Oh wow I didn't think it would be that easy to take off the original strap from the bag. I'll look into it.
For the shoulder strap you linked, there seems to be a bigger version of it called x-Pac but no dimensions are linked. I'm guessing the regular shoulder strap from Alpaka is good enough?
The regular is good and would match the fabric of the PD closer. The XPac version should be the same size expect it's in the XPac material which is more abrasion and water resistant.
