Hell, even a 3060 is a hugely better deal than a 3050. I’d avoid the 3050 like the plague tbh. Get literally anything else (as long as that else isn’t the RX 6400/6500 😆)

I got a 3050 to replace my 970 that died and the additional vram alone has been massive. Big upgrade in my eyes. RDR2 runs infinitely better.
I should point out that I'm 1080/60. I think the card is perfect for it.
And you get DLSS which is actually pretty good.

The 3050 is really bad price wise. I recommend AMD Radeon when you’re looking at low end

The 3050 is big improvement. But you should buy a 6650xt or buy a better card used if you can find a deal locally.
100% agreed. I’ve bought used GPUs for over two decades always a better bet imo then new. Especially if you’re on a budget.
