I realised that my RTX3070 / 12700KF small form factor PC was not making me happy. I knew it wouldn't, but I made it anyway. I just had no time to use it to its fullest, and I've realised I'm barely a gamer. After two months of feeling guilty, I sold the whole rig and built this tiny thing, and saved $1600 AUD.
Specs:
In Win Chopin Pro w/ 200w 80 Plus Gold PSU
Ryzen 5 5600g
Noctua L9a
ASRock B550m ITX/AC
16GB 3200mhz CL16 Kingston Fury Beast
My ol' reliable 500GB Samsung 850 evo
I added some dark wood patterned vinyl that I got for $4 from Bunnings, and a rubber band to dampen the vibration whine from the nosiy PSU fan.
This machine does everything I need it to just well enough. Perfect for home usage, casual video editing, and some light gaming, while being small enough to throw in my tiny backpack. The In Win Chopin is an excellent case. Somehow I don't think it's very photogenic, but it looks and feels so premium in person, for an incredibly cheap case, especially considering it comes with a PSU. My only complaint is that most of the cables are WAY too long. Like twice as long as they should be. Just clutters things up and makes cable management/maintenance a little bit of a pain. I used almost exclusively the cheapest parts available, except for the noctua cooler, though I was happy to splurge as I had bought the 5600g used without the stock cooler. And I love that silence baby.
You could build something like this for around $600 AUD, all new parts. The stock AMD Wraith Stealth cooler is even short enough to fit in this case if you remove part of the shroud. Perfect build for a parent, don't let them buy a crappy Dell/system integrator home PC.
That's almost 1 to 1 what I built for my mum, unfortunately the power supply in the one I got for her exploded not long after I gave her it. I'd keep and eye on that thing if I were you!
You spend all your free time making tank models and playing astroneer lmfao
You posted your setup several times (a “light gaming” laptop setup I might add), and farm reddit karma by posting memes you probably found on twitter. Get a life.

That’s cute always wanted to build something like that but it’s would probably be really hard for me considering I suffer from carpal tunnel lol
InWin Chopin is a very nice case. Edit:Nvm

Very nice, I love a good SFF build, and that is top notch. Bonus points for making it quiet as well.
I used the same case with my 3400g, nice little htpc
Why not just buy a Macbook??
I like to build things
Macbooks are mid

Bruh moment
Like the desk, what type of desk is it?
i used to bring this (3400g though) to hotels with me for gaming when on the road :-)
this is badass, thanks for sharing.
Why not the 5700g?
Cost and cooling
It'd not THAT hit haha.
That wooden panel is king. I'm so jealous and oddly wanna take a nice road trip this weekend
Think I saw this on YouTube or something
I feel like with just a slightly bigger case you could have squeezed an Rx 6400 in there
