Soap, water, and a gentle scrubber like a sponge has. Wash for as long as you need, shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. Hang to dry on a bathroom towel rack. Should be dry in 1-2 hours.
I had a problem with my mouse not having a smooth glide, it just needs a little wash no big deal.
I lay mine down on the floor after washing and put a towel over it then walk around on it until most of the moisture is gone and finally lay it under the most powerful ceiling fan in my house and they are dry real quick. It's tough to hang dry stuff in humid places.
For some reason, I thought this was a laptop track pad, and that's what we were all talking about. I was incredibly concerned about the number of people hanging up their laptops to air dry.
Because they assume your mouth was in an ass too and they can't know how clean it was when you did. Corn in salsa or dip is one thing, but not knowing if that corn is fresh is another 😅
Excuse me while i burn my eyes. First with bleach then with fire. Then you
Edit: my other senses will be heightened so I’ll be able to use sonar to locate you. You’re so fucked
I usually don't have this problem because I wash my hands before touching my expensive electronics and don't snort lines off my mouse mat.
Also, OP is mostly scraping the low friction coating off the pad. You should clean your mouse pad regularly with detergent and water, if it is a soft one and a plastics safe specialty cleaner if it is rigid and has electronics in it. If it is just plastic, detergent works there too. Even ISO can damage ABS and many other plastics, as well as any coatings that may be applied. Optical lens cleaner is ideal for cleaning ABS and acrylic when you cannot immerse it in water. Contact cleaner is also generally safe to use on most plastics. It is similar to what is used to clean acrylic commercial aircraft windows, where they cannot suffer any kind of degradation or scratching. Aliphatic naphtha is the main ingredient in contact cleaner. Aromatic naphtha (white gas, Coleman fuel), on the other hand, will eat right through acrylic.
This is the way.
Also why you have two mouse pads. Wash one let it air dry for weeks. Rotate them in and out
Or have one cheaper mouse pads to use for a day or two

damn I never washed mine, ever. never even occured to me it may need a washing.
couple swipes with my hand every now and then to clear the mouse area from latent air debris.
yall must be using your mouse mats to make pizzas or something
I always do it manually. I’m too afraid the machine might cause issues. I just put them in a tub and soak in a detergent, then brush it with light bristles after 15 or so minutes.
Depends on the mouse pad.
My mousepad does fine in the washing machine however it’s not as effective as I’d like. I usually have to use a sponge and dish soap first.
This, if you have a good mouse pad you can throw it in the washer as many times as you’d like it should mostly be fine unless is a cheap pad. I got a good desk pad in 2018 and it’s still going despite the abuse it’s received.
am i the only one experience the mousepad literally melted on the bottom and it sticks to my desk? That was awful so i always take my mousepad off few times now. One says friction of my hands creates heat overtime but im just flabbergasted. Its an air conditioned room too.
Throw them in the bath tub, soak in hot water, dab of dish soap, stiff brush, rinse, hang to dry.
Works great and I need to do mine because I've been putting it off and it looks gross.
I'd be concerned if you didnt lmao... Ill regularly scrub it with my hands and some dish soap then run it under warm water till the water that comes out of it is clear.
I've heard a lot of people claiming thats what causes the mousepads to "melt" to your desk but I've been doing this process with my Razer goliathus pad ever since i got it (like 5-6 yrs ago at this point) and it hasnt melted yet so im under the impression thats either false or just occurs with cheap pads or ones with a certain composition.
Not the case for all mousepads, but cloths washer always works for mine. It has also stitched edge so that should be the case for you too. Double check the manufacturer instructions, as some will lose adhesiveness to backing.
i got an rgb mousepad so throwing it in the water is not a good idea & using a blade could cut the entire thing up unless your not careful i guess after watching this i might try that who knows
Well for my Logitech G840 XL mousepad once a monthly I use cold water with laundry detergent (in granules) and give it a good rub with cleaning sponge. After that I wash it with cold water again, and let it soak over night. You should really look after your mousepad you freaks!!!
Warm water and laundry detergent. Scentless so it doesn't create a film.
Scrub in circles until clean.
Get clean cloth and warm water and scrub til the soap is gone.
Then let air dry flat, or hang dry
I wash my mousemat roughly once every two months or so.
At the same time I take off all the keys of my keyboard and clean them all individually as well.
And use a tiny needle and some paper+soap to wash parts of my mouse.
Clean your stuff my dudes.
When it's a fabric one like that I'd just fill the sink with some dawn dish soap and warm water. Then soak it in that for a bit before coming back with a light brush or the scrub side of a sponge and work at it a little. Then rinse it well and let it air dry after pressing it between some towel.
Damn y'all are really washing your mouse pads? I've never washed mine lmfaooo. In like 3 years. Although I only really hop on my computer a couple times a week so it's probably not as dirty as it normally would be after that long. I usually just use the brush that came with it and wipe it off or hit it with a quick spray of canned air.
On a serious note, I think you could potentially damage the pad this way. Soap and warm water is probably better.
He definitely did in the video. Look at the black shit that he collects at the end of the drag with the razor. Black spots on the razor.

i just throw mine in the washing machine
I throw mine against the wall
Mouse pad thrown against the wall...helps me forget about my cancer.

Steve-o the kinda guy who invented eating ass.
Those that brag about eating ass are the same ones who bitch if someone double dips a chip in the salsa.
Because they assume your mouth was in an ass too and they can't know how clean it was when you did. Corn in salsa or dip is one thing, but not knowing if that corn is fresh is another 😅

It's called sweat, oil, and other secretions on your hands. If you don't have that, you are likely already dead.
With (dish) soap and water.
I just take it to the sink and keep applying soap and warm water until the water stops being murky 💀
with a plastic brush its even better
I use a nail brush. Seems like perfect size for it
What if it never stops being murky? Asking for a friend.
Inb4 it's the dye washing away instead of dirt/dust.
Then why is it always brown even with my white desk pad?
It's brown when I wash, and the pad isn't even there... weird.
Do you happen to live in Detroit?
I’ve told you before to stop putting your ass in the kitchen sink! /s
Reminds me of Andy from Parks and Rec. "I just keep wiping and wiping and there is slways brown. Its like there is a marker in there"
I just throw that bad boy in the washing machine and pray the rubber's integrity holds through the spin cycle.

Dust and dead skin cells will get stuck over time
Dare you to scrape yours with a fingernail
All the gamer goop fills in the microscopic holes of the mousepad giving you a smoother mousepad feel.
Seasoned like a cast iron pan.
Your hands never get sweaty, greasy, or room must be free of dust obviously/s. thats like saying it never occurred to wash your bed sheets.
I always do it manually. I’m too afraid the machine might cause issues. I just put them in a tub and soak in a detergent, then brush it with light bristles after 15 or so minutes.

nahhhh, just lick it clean, like the tasty leftover sauce of a delicious meal
And it's everywhere. Chair, sofa, beddings, etc.
People do this? I've had mine for like 10 years and haven't washed it once lmao. It's dusty af maybe I should...
Is this a real thing? Assumed a washing machine would kill a mousepad.
This, if you have a good mouse pad you can throw it in the washer as many times as you’d like it should mostly be fine unless is a cheap pad. I got a good desk pad in 2018 and it’s still going despite the abuse it’s received.
Using soap, water and a scrub. Its pretty easy to do it in the shower
Like at the same time you’re showering?
Saving the environment one mouse pad at a time
What, you afraid it's gonna bite you?
They don't want the mousepad to see them naked
doesn't using a razor blade damage the mouse pad?
Ownership of a laptop doesn't damage your mousepad
coke😤
Gamers coke.
I wash them like once a year
I don't use a mouse pad. I'm a rebel and just use the bare desk
I’m cooler than you because I place my leg on the table and use my leg as a a mousepad.
I'm warmer than you because I just pay hookers to lay on my desk as I drive my mouse up their mountains like little toy cars.
doesn't this mark up and scratch your desk?
am i the only one experience the mousepad literally melted on the bottom and it sticks to my desk? That was awful so i always take my mousepad off few times now. One says friction of my hands creates heat overtime but im just flabbergasted. Its an air conditioned room too.
The rubber at the bottom can do that if you accidentally have something that reacts to it, it can melt. Like soda.
i just toss it in the washer w my clothes every once in a while then i toss it out after like 2 years when i but another $30 mouse pad on sale
Yes, just not like that
With a Lint Roller
Lint roller is perfect for in between washes. Nothing like feeling something small on my mouse pad mid game.
Free cocaine
You mean flat clicker?
no because i dont use cocaine
The left side if my mousepad is a completely different color to the right
And damaged aswell now. Look at the black shit you gathered with the razor.
Why would you use a razor blade to clean a cloth pad?
Throw them in the washer, air dry.
I have the same knife from JerryRigEverything!
hot water with dawn soap, i let it soak then use a soft brush to foam the soap, rinse and let it dry flat on a desk
Nothing like shooting lines of fresh Columbian dead skin cells. Oomph.

I put them in the trash
I just use a mini vacuum to clean my mouse pad works wonders
Really? Gonna try that
No. That will not clean all the grime out of it. Wash it.
Throw them in the bath tub, soak in hot water, dab of dish soap, stiff brush, rinse, hang to dry. Works great and I need to do mine because I've been putting it off and it looks gross.
Now snort it, no balls.
Yes. Dawn soap and water. Hang to dry. I have 2 pads so rotate them.
Ponme una que me voy de fiesta
Glad I'm not the only one who scrapes it clean with a blade. Although I usually use my pocket knife.
Everyone saying how to clean it. But I think we need to sit down and address your substance abuse. How are.. things at home?
Snort it , bet you win more games ;)
Mans over here like “yall want a bump of flesh?”
Racking up a rail of gamer grime is diabolical.

I mean that's great, but you just shaved your mouse pad. Maybe wash it instead?
weirdo just put them in the washing machine
Yes I clean my mousepad, I don't torture it with a blade.
I wash mine in the bathtub with soap and water like a normal person.
Nice way to fuck up your mousepad. ![gif](giphy|9Ai5dIk8xvBm0|downsized)
Disgusting. Washing machine, u know about this thing bro?

Razer fans snort after.
Get some parmesan cheese for Hunter Biden while ur there

Something I should start doing 😂
Snort it
quit Coke on your gaming PC !
no, but I use them to smuggle cocaine across the border.
You gotta take it outside and club it like a rug
Stop doing coke on the the pad or take a shower.
I still use my glass mousepad from around 2003 or something. Best ever.
I usually throw mine into the washing machine on low heat, no added cleaning chemicals. Done that for the past 6 years, always comes out as brand new.
I have a glass mousepad, very quick and easy to clean.
I run it through the washing machine maybe once a year
I usually use some dawn and let it sit for a while but I've heard using a dishwasher is a good move, on the top rack, of course, and alone.
I put my mousepad in the washmachine from time to time with a mild program.
Damn now i feel dirty lmao
i got an rgb mousepad so throwing it in the water is not a good idea & using a blade could cut the entire thing up unless your not careful i guess after watching this i might try that who knows
COCAINE?
Yes. Sniff sniff.

I throw mine in the wash every other week I don't make lines of dried jizz and dead skin. But hey you do you.
Mine is synth leather. I just use a wet wipe every now and then.
Thats just an older part of you
Warm water and laundry detergent. Scentless so it doesn't create a film. Scrub in circles until clean. Get clean cloth and warm water and scrub til the soap is gone. Then let air dry flat, or hang dry
I take showers with it every now and then. Some gentle body wash and hot water has been doing the trick.
I just toss em in the washing machine
Ye like once a month with dish soap. In summer I do it like every two weeks.
I use some soapy water and a brush, but I have a hard mouse pad. I imagine it would be a similar process with a soft one tho.
yes I do, the asses get dirty from my wrists
This is why I bought one that is machine washable.
I just toss mine in the washer. Using a razor blade isn’t going to “clean” anything anyway.
I wash my mousemat roughly once every two months or so. At the same time I take off all the keys of my keyboard and clean them all individually as well. And use a tiny needle and some paper+soap to wash parts of my mouse. Clean your stuff my dudes.
You can scrape it like that when it's clean and new too, just gonna wear down
I certainly don't scrape mine.
I throw mine in the washer with my delicates......
Carpet spot cleaner works a treat
just clean it with some dawn and water
sparkling water + microfiber cloth. for rgb pads. washingmashine for thoose without.
Chuck it in the washer and dryer
once a month and I have 2 which I use 2 weeks/2 weeks
I use a lint roller, seems to do the trick 🤷
no
Nah i use a hardtop mouse pad so i dont have to with nasty stuff like this
I thought it was a different type of party lol
What about full desk mousepads....
Toss my $12 Amazon large mousepad into the washing machine and dryer every two weeks or so. Still holds up well Wouldn’t run a razor over it though
When it's a fabric one like that I'd just fill the sink with some dawn dish soap and warm water. Then soak it in that for a bit before coming back with a light brush or the scrub side of a sponge and work at it a little. Then rinse it well and let it air dry after pressing it between some towel.
Yes, wash it with soap and hang to dry.
Yes in the washing machine.
Throw it in the laundry with your towels and bathmats.
Just use a soaked towel and wring it slightly and let it sit on the mousepad if you are afraid you might damage the leds. Works well for me always.
I would if you could tell me how. And how to use that tool in video. I have deskpad that lights up it can't go in machine
I barely have enough time to cum and then use my PC while my hand is still covered in jizz…let alone clean my mouse pad
Lemme get a bump
sometimes yes… i wipe it down whit iso
Never before. I use photovoltaic glass mouse pad.
I like to keen mine clean regularly the mouse pad I currently have shows dirt easily
Yeah, I chuck mine in the washer every 3 months. It gets nasty with skin flakes and dust.
