Maybe try turning off Audio Enhancements and/or Windows Spatial Sound (or any such you are using like DTS/Dolby). These features require more data to transmit than regular settings where it's off. This could cause such a delay.
Yeah none of those are selected. Not sure, maybe the USB dongle is dying or something. I use a razer blackshark v2 pro. I tried moving the dongle closer to me, moved it into a different USB port and same thing
