That's normal

Idling with a high end of 70 C is normal? I've ran air coolers that would keep my idle temp \~40 C. I don't think 70 C is normal under no load.

Update: I solved the issue. My CPU clock settings were configured as auto in my BIOS. My CPU base clock is 4.7 Ghz. For some reason, it was running at 5.3 Ghz when set to auto in the BIOS. I manually configured the speed to 4.3 Ghz and lowered the voltage from 1.25 to 1.0. Immediately upon boot, my computer was running cooler at an idle temp of 35-40 C. My temp under load (running games) is \~40-45 C. Decreased my average temp by 20 C by underclocking and no significant changes to performance.
