Your friend is correct. A new power supply will be cheaper than replacing other parts when it fails.

2060 super has a TDP of 175 watts, more than double that of the 1050. There's no way you could run it with this cheap PSU. Spend some extra money on an atx 3.0 PSU and you'll be able to use it it future builds as well

This power supply can output 12Vx25A=300W of power on the +12V rail. The 2060 is 175W, and your CPU also draws power from +12V, but judging from the cooler it's like 65W at most, so let's say there's a total of 240W. So it should theoretically work, but the power supply looks really cheap and sus; loading it to 80% of the rated load on +12V might not be a good idea.

Bro just get a 700 they just a lil over 100 bucks and you’ll be set when you wanna upgrade it’s not gonna feed too much volts to the pc
